  1. False. Jagex stated that your defense level does contribute to your magic defense. I forget where they said that, I'm sure it was one of their Q&A sessions. I believe it was something like 60% of your magic level, and 40% of your defense level. Around those numbers. True it may not contribute much, but it still plays a part none the less.
  2. Bones are currently dropping due to the scare of the demon ash update(Possibly coming tomorrow?). However, whether they drop more or go back up is entirely dependent on how good the update is. It is up to you to quickly determine this when the update hits, and quickly buy your bones if the update is bad before the panic settles on the rest of the community. However, if it's good and offers a lot of prayer EXP, i suggest you look into training with demon ashes yourself, or wait till bones level out at a lower price.
  3. I would advise an arcane stream, and a scroll of life if you herb farm. That's my plan when i go for 80 dungoneering :shades:
  4. I liked it. I actually was looking for some 1 def rapier PKing videos on youtube a few days ago, to no avail. People shouldn't talk so much when facing a rapier. It's so easy to KO with one of those >.> And just the fact that you have a rapier and are 1 def, is impressive in itself.
  5. I think that video gave me eye cancer. I couldn't even finish it or i think i would have gotten brain cancer too.
  6. I like to hear harder styles of music in PKing videos nowadays. One of the people that coined it was a Youtuber named ForSandG. Who's account is now closed due to three copyright strikes against it. He had a PKing series called MoV: Good Fight Sir. The MoV stands for merkled on video. He primarily used two underground genres called Hardstyle and Hardcore. And he was the one that really got me into the genres. Now my music folder for EDM(Electronic Dance Music, the parent genre above those two and others) is growing bigger every week. I've also gotten into Dubstep, which is becoming ever more popular because a Dubstep artist Skrillex is gaining popularity pretty quickly. After hearing this kind of music, normal rock and alternative is just too soft for me. I prefer extremely hard beats and bass lines now. A few good examples(Might be some language in some of the songs): Edit: Fixed links; embedded version didn't work for some reason.
  7. Nice. Ehehe. I don't use my claws on my Zerker anymore. Because It's just my luck for me to take my eye off my prayer, have it drain down to 0, get hit for a K0, and lose them >.>
  8. I've been watching you, 999 O.O.... Seriously though, i don't think i've seen any tank that is more epickest then you. Too bad you can't get your hands on some Torva. Then you would truly be unbeatable
  9. Just looking at your levels and bank(Even the picture on the first post, weather it's updated or not), and what you had to go through and all the time you must have spent to DIY all that, it's almost unfathomable O.O Mad respect

Yeah, it sucks when it happens. But lesson learned: You just need to take a step back from the situation and say "Is this suspicious? Too good to be true?" Because chances are, it is. Maybe it's just because I'm an extremely skeptical person. But, i've only been scammed once in my five years due to following this rule. And that was because i didn't check the trade screen and payed big bone prices for normal bones.
  11. unfortunately, i don't think so. So i think you'll have to wait until you want to use them, and see if they work or not one by one.
  12. Them dying is the result of their pure stupidity. Considering a few of the people had no chance of killing the person who was luring them in due to purely lower combat levels. The person who was rushing them sucked too. Definitely a clan prod. One day he'll wander from the DD, get killed, lose his bank, and rage quit. It's called karma. Ehehe.
  13. Remember that all clues are a completely random drop. They have no set rate of which you can obtain them, so basically the fastest method you can to get a chance to get them would be the best. Which would pickpocketing H.A.M members. I've heard that this is pretty much the best method of obtaining them.
  14. I think the logic behind it is that when you die and drop it on a F2P world, it's a "member's object" which is a completely separate item from the actual untrimmed skill cape. Hence since the game doesn't actually read the item as a skill cape, it stays untrimmed when you go back to the F2P world to tele grab it.
  15. To do that he would largely have to rely on creating his weapons on the island. At 60 defense i can guarantee you won't need armor for them. Only two iron bars and a hammer to smith an iron scimitar on the island. I checked Runewiki, and it states that the ones on Entrana still heal themselves. Then Entrana is most likely the best place to AFK train. Also, you're apparently able to bring a most jewelery. So a combat bracelet and strength amulet wouldn't go amiss. However, training here would rule out being able to use sacred clay items for bonus experience.
  16. It still counts as a headgear piece, so you can't wear it in castlewars. Same case as you can't wear the decorative helms in the game. So it's effectively saying they only work outside of castle wars
  17. Glad to see scamming is back. That sense of danger when trading with people just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. <_< But let's face it, some people just need to learn to not be click-happy the hard way... Hell. I don't even walk out of a bank/GE with more then 10M on me for fear that somehow, something is going to go terribly wrong and i end up losing it. It's just my luck, rofl. But yeah. If i was trading that much, i would at least check the second trade screen... I mean, c'mon people...
  18. Obsidian maul is far too slow to justify using over a slayer or sacred clay staff. Same argument that the CR is better then the CLS.
  19. Actually a slayer staff is the best. Though you'll need 55 slayer and 50 magic. Aside from that, there's the sacred clay staff which only requires 40 magic. It has +5 more str, but at the cost of speed. So it isn't as effective at training. But getting 55 slayer on a 1 attack pure can be extremely hard. So it's a good alternative.
  20. DFS never really had any "huge" uses. And is even more outdated now since super antifires. But, if you said what you do most in RS, we might be able to help you more.
  21. I wouldn't advise starting off PKing with korasi's. If you really want to get the feel for PKing, I'd advise rune fights with a Rapier and DDS. If you do that, you'll get the feeling for weapon switching and such, and when to eat, ect. But if you want to use korasi's, go ahead. I don't know who all you'll actually get fights with aside from other korasi sworders. As for your setups, depending on how much you want to risk I'd drop the glory for a str ammy depending on desired risk. Use rune RFD gloves, and addy boots. Of course, the gloves can be switched for barrows for the additional str at the cost of an extra 95K~ per death. I would advise against climbers, because that extra 1 str bonus for the cost of an extra 50k loss on death isn't worth it in the least. Plus you miss out on the def bonuses of the addy boots with climbers. Lastly, for your cape, legend's cape is good for it's dirt cheap price. Though team capes allow you to attack people who are wearing a different one and are a higher level then you. Though it doesn't really matter for you because you're already 137 combat. As far as hybriding goes, range is pretty good. And you're going to want to have dhide top and bottom anyway for melee because if you're in rune, it'll be too easy for someone to get a freeze on you. The general accepted setup for hybriding is rune plate + legs, mystic top + bottom, and black hide top + bottom. With of course an ancient staff, and other general maging stuff.
  22. Definitely a mixture. But the most important part is that i actually like the person who is making the videos. I like people like ForSandG, and chrisarchie. Though people who are loud and annoying like NightmareRH, or people who just [bleep] about trolls like Sparc Mac, i cannot stand. So, just be normal and try to appeal to a variety of interests. Naturally if you're good and entertaining, you'll get views and subscribers.
  23. Well if you always fail, then you would never get HP xp I think...You only get that xp if you do damage I'm pretty sure. This is correct. Curses and binds don't give Constitution even if they do hit. And damaging spells won't give any Constitution exp as long as they don't hit. Additionally if i remember correctly, a -64 magic attack bonus is the threshold that guarantees that you won't hit a combat spell. This will need confirming though.
  24. This is another good spot that is often overlooked. It's basically the same as any other undead monster, except they're pretty AFKable. Only problem is that they're not as good as armored zombies due to the fact that you don't have constant prayer.
  25. Yea people can. I went down there just for the heck of it and I didn't realize I could die until some clan got me. I actually kinda like this system. It makes the dungeon a raid-sort of place where you have to be in a clan to hunt them without getting WTF pwnt by another clan. A good place to use lootshare in the wild tbh.
