  1. Never do big bones. You'll will want to kill yourself. I did infernal ashes for 52 - 95. It was... Bearable. But the only reason was because i was DGing for a rapier on the side. I would suggest d bones.
  2. What exactly do you have to sell? And would even selling it get you enough to afford 95? Things that generally go first are bandos/DFS/godswords etc. Things that are only useful for a handful of situations(With bandos being a luxury you really shouldn't have to keep until after you have 95 prayer, 92+ herblore and 96 summoning). If you have a pair of claws and a fury, you could sell those too if you really wanted 95. But i personally didn't since i use them so much. Though looking at your stats, you seem to be more range based. So i wouldn't be sure exactly the kind of bank you would have to sell.

Normal trolls, i would find it weird. As they're known for being big, rough, smelly, and to dwell under bridges. But RuneScape trolls? I mean... One of them has eaten a cliff side. And countless others eat rocks/dirt/pretty much anything else. So they gotta' be pretty durable and have a serious digestive system to... You know. Not die.
  4. My pure is 80 dg and my teams average 25 - 30 minutes a dungeon. That is WITH the handicap of having me on their team with only 50 defense and low non-combat stats. On top of this, i average 5k tokens a dungeon. Which can mean up to 10 - 12k tokens an hour if we do a row of floors. 4k tokens an hour is what DG bots get, or people on 117 doing 1 hour dungeons with 5 deaths each.
  5. That's true, though if you take a dip in the Bandos pool before heading out(Requires As a first Resort) you won't need a bandos item. Though do take a zammy arrow; it had slipped my mind. A Zamorak item is almost essential for kill count. And Mini is also right about the helms. If you're not the tank, the only damage you'll be taking is possible magic and melee damage. Which means the Nezzy helm is most likely the better option due to less risk and minor boosts to magic defense and damage output. Plus your methods of healing should overide the need for the extra ~20 points in melee defense ;) Also, on a side note if you take a beast of burden for food, Make sure to make it attack a mini when Gaar spawns. I've accidentally lured Gaar onto me several times by not sending my Beast of Burden to attack one of the minis. Reason behind this is because if your familiar ends up attacking Gaar, he might decide to turn his aggression on the owner of it: You. This puts you in a tight spot and it's quite possible for most people to panic and not know what to do. Which is, turn on protect from melee and run away from Gaar until the tank regains his aggression. I now take a fruit bat, as it doesn't engage in combat ;)
  6. Toss your flail into the sea :o It's really only useful for casting bloom and using the special(WHY you would want to use the special, i have no idea).
  7. With your stats i can't guarantee you won't get crashed, even if your friend is 138 with overloads and chaotics. But when i first started trioing Bandos i went in gear similar to this: Nezzy helm Black hide top V skirt D boots B gloves SW cape Fury RoW(RoL has saved me from Gaar twice, so you might want to consider it your first few trips) Maul, Rapier w/ ddef, and claws. Maul is for Gaar, rapier and ddef are for the minis, since Gaar can only spawn once they're dead, it will really speed up your kills to bring the rapier. You risk very little on death with this setup. You can switch the black hide top for a Karil's top, though you would risk an extra 3.1M on death. Same for swapping out the Nezzy helm for a barrows/Varac's. You would risk the helmet as well. But risk shouldn't worry you as long as your friend is trustworthy and will bless your grave. Though a lot of bando'ers i know can make it back to their grave in under 15 minutes anyway(Assuming you have the best gravestone).
  8. What are the odds? LIAR. Those are BPBs Or BRPBs.
  9. I imagine Nex gear would be better for tanking and such. Hybrid gear would be better for raw damage output.
  10. YouTube - The Branches of Darkmeyer Trailer (Couldn't get embedding to work for some reason. So here's a link to the video) Uploaded not long ago on the official RS YT channel. Sorry if someone already posted it, just wanted to discuss this and i felt that a new topic wasn't necessary. My question is, why all the hate for this video? As I'm looking at it now it has 963 likes, and 625 dislikes. I haven't done the quest yet myself, but i've heard good reviews about it and about basically everything Jagex has done east of Paterdomus in the past month. And not to mention i think this trailer was epic. I might wait until i get my new computer so i can do the quest in HD full screen. Is it simpily just because players are lashing out against jagex with anything they do because of the botting epidemic?
  11. True, but you need to complete Fremennik trials to even start Fremennik islands. As the guide says you need to start Fremennik island to get to the island, the fact that you have to complete Fremennik trials is kinda' understood.
  12. Although you should stick with Barrows until you have all of the useful buyables out of the way such as turmoil, overloads, and 96+ summoning. Then it's alright to get Bandos
  13. Bots. Bots everywhere. If you want proof just skip though video a bit. Welcome to RuneScape in 2011. Jagex has turned into a money-hungry communist company who doesn't care about their players one bit anymore. Make your choice
  14. This response right here tells us that you're not the best at taking solid advice. First of all, don't get a cls. It's a piece of garbage and you will regret it the first time you swing at something with it unless you're huge into roleplaying/etc and just have that kind of playstyle. Second of all, if you're looking for advice on something like this you best look elsewhere. Most of the people on this forum have a chronic disability of giving advice on bad ideas like this  The reason I'm getting a cls is I do pvm with friends a lot. they recommend I do that vs a rapier. yes i do slayer but I like non degradable weapons for that. and I wasn't asking if i should do it. I know its slow and [cabbage], I have been doing it a bit. Im trying to keep my account even, I want 90 attack and 90 str so I can get the next level weapons. I'm not trying to sound like a douchbag over this but I didn't ask for the input on the reason I was doing, just in the situation of me doing it, what would be the best. Keeping your combat stats even isn't very hard at all. 80 - 90 combats takes a week of casual training using a decent spot; i did it myself not only a year ago. And now I'm maxed melees by using the same method. Getting it in dungoneering would kill your DPS, and your chances to get into any floors with people that key sub-60 minutes. And if you're soloing, then you're going to burn yourself out before you even get half way. Even if you PvM, you're dead weight to any high-end team without at least 90 combats, extremes and piety. Although at any popular bossing spot you'll be crushed by 138s with overloads, at least 3 chaotics and turmoil. And if you're talking about outdated bosses, then cls would do you even less good there. Cls is only better at bandos. And that's against Gaar. You still have 3 minions to kill after that, which the CLS sucks at, but the rapier excels at. And even after all that, the maul triumphs the CLS at bandos due to it's sheer strength bonus and accuracy overriding Gaar's slash weakness. The only other things that the CLS is useful for is skele wyverns(And even then, with high-end stats a maul and soulsplit is better) and dark beasts if you don't have turmoil. Both of which, are slayer monsters. And if you only like non-degrading weapons for slayer, then you're outa' luck there. Every other place a rapier would be preferable. If you still choose to get a CLS, then that's your decision; even if it isn't the best.
  15. It's best to just not do it. You could get more exp/hr training on goblins then you could in dungoneering. And the only reason you're getting the exp you are is because you're(presumably) using the berserker ring. If you switch from aggressive or from the berserker class, you'll loose at least 11% of your damage. Which is pretty significant. Stick with the 2H and berserker. Train your combat stats elsewhere. Edit: This response right here tells us that you're not the best at taking solid advice. First of all, don't get a cls. It's a piece of garbage and you will regret it the first time you swing at something with it unless you're huge into roleplaying/etc and just have that kind of playstyle. Second of all, if you're looking for advice on something like this you best look elsewhere. 16. This i think. The Gnome stronghold lep is really close to a bank; the steps are only a few squares away. Before that i thought of RoDs with the ardy cape to the monastery. There's a bush patch with a lep right outside, and you only need the ardy 2 diary. But regardless above should be faster and more accessible.
  17. This story is exactly why i stay away from dicing/staking. I fear that I'll get addicted and either hit it big, or lose it all. Either way ending up losing interest in the game and quitting. It's all herb runs and MTK for my money ;) Anywho, i've been quite the busy scaper' over the last two weeks on my battle pure, Pure of War. I've been aiming for turmoil and a rapier since i made him a member again about a month ago. The first two weeks consisted of skilling and questing for Temple at Senntisten and Blood runs Deep(Couldn't pass up a free 450k prayer exp and a sweet looking axe). And the last two weeks consisted of me grinding prayer levels(37,500 infernal ashes) and doing dungoneering to break it up. I had to drain my miser-bank of ~two years down to 20~ pking sets, a pair of claws, a fury, and 2M cash. But i finally have gotten turmoil and my rapier(And i've recovered some of that cash, as i've been farming herbs during all this. Plus i've been doing it on my main for a tasty increase in cashpile). Here are my achievements this week in order of occurrence :3 It's kinda' funny that about 6 months ago, i was like "Ugh, I'll never get a rapier." And now i have one on my main, plus a maul at 90 dungooneering. AND i have one on my pure. Couldn't have done it without my buddies at EoE making me love dungoneering. Love yo' guys <3
  18. That floor was epic fletching XP. You guys need to L2 leech more. Me and Gingy were the only ones who got leecher title
  19. I actually haven't heard any data on how common they are yet. So I'm guessing they're still pretty rare. Plus they say it scales with how often you play the minigame. So I'm sure it's also based on your rank/how many games you've played. Which would make it even harder to scale.
  20. So guys, i need an opinion. Ever since i've been 12 i've grown my hair out religiously. But now at 17, it's starting to become a bother to maintain. Plus it doesn't look good when it's dry due to hairline hairs(These stubborn hairs that are shorter then the overall length and friz out. A result of thinning it out). So i've been thinking about cutting it. Reasoning against it because long hair is how I'm defined now, and plus i don't want short bangs constantly getting in my face(Was told that it could be angled a certain way that they don't though). But, shorter, layered hair might generally look more stylized and be easier to maintain. So, what do you think? [spoiler=This hair] Ignore my lame smile. I hate how childish i look in this picture, or just in general how childish my face was back then. But i like my hair in it >.> [spoiler=On this face] A picture of me taken a few months ago. Only difference is that my goatee is a bit thicker Thoughts? :P
  21. If you're asking for the best binds in terms of efficiency, we can give that advice. Any kind of bow isn't very useful in dungoneering(Minus a few bosses. And in those cases a t6 - t7 bow with fractite arrows should suffice. Even then it's just faster to kill them with melee), minus the hexhunter. Which is the rarest and most sought-after bind. So I'd lose the bow for a platebody until you find a shadow silk hood. Which is the most useful bind and should be bound with your weapon until 100 dungoneering. As for your weapon, your attack and strength bonuses seem pretty even. So i would drop the maul and bind a gorg 2h. I have to admit; maul is sexy. And it's worth to bind over a 2h if you can wield one that is two tiers higher then the 2h you can wield. I have a prome one bound on my battle pure since i have 92 strength and 75 attack, and it works well. But i know getting 5 attack levels and binding a gorg 2h would be better.
  22. North-western PA here, and i didn't feel anything. Most likely because i was asleep '_' But i did see a bunch of my local friends post about it on Facebook when i woke up. Kinda' wish i was up for it. Wanted to know what it was like >.>
  23. If you're talking about us in EoE, you just need to stay in chat more. I've seen you on all of 3 times when i've been logging in religiously over the last week. We do low level floors, just not as much as abds/occults. You can't expect to go from furnishes to occults in a day. The exp really speeds up in the 60s as that's when you start getting abds, which we do quite frequently. With that aside, the best way to go is to use normal methods that mains would use. Except be extra cautious about getting in melee range of things. Also, be sure to quickly find safe spots from the rangers. With your low defense they'll tear through you. Take it slow and easy. And if you fail, try try again. The best advice i can give for anyone going for the cape.
  24. A good way to get a feel of when you have to switch is to think of Jad as an opponent in PvP. When you attack someone in PvP(Or anything, but I'm using PvP as the example), you get the exp drop slightly before the damage shows up. This means that the hit and damage are determined at that time, and if your opponent turns on prayer after the exp drop, but before the damage, the damage removal won't be calculated. So using this logic, i imagine Jad's damage is calculated right as the fireball leaves his back. Or right before you can see the rock fall from the top of your screen(right after the animation is done). Of course this could be wrong, but having prayer switched Jad myself, you eventually get a feel for it and you know when you mess up before the damage actually hits you. A bit of side advice: There's a reason why once you beat jad once, you basically can beat him with ease every time after that. Once you calm down and focus, it's not too difficult. But there are two things that should take priority: Making sure you don't walk within melee distance of Jad when you go to attack healers on the far side of him. And being sure to still have most of your attention on Jad. Once one of his attacks start, attack a healer. Wait for his next attack, attack the next one, and so on and so forth. And keep trying! If you fail, try again! The reason i got my fire cape at 135 combat is because i never tried again after i failed. Good luck!
  25. Thanks for the advice, I'm still not sure on keeping 1 defense and I really like the maul, I'm looking at staying as low as possible with a chaotic so I'm only aiming on 70-80 strength for now, I dont want to get 40 defense because of the quests such as barrow gloves and vengeance I already have done these on numerous other accounts and I really cant be bothered doing them again. I only really wanted 20 def-30 defense because it opens more options of equipment I can use, And I have had many 1 def pures and kind of tired of it. Just experimenting with this account for now, If it works I'll be happy if its dose not I always have other accounts to fall back on. Lower level PKing on a prossy pure(AKA Addy daddy, "true" turmoil pure, ect) could actually be interesting. However i would suggest at least getting the defense experience from defender of varrock and what lies below will save you a world of regret if you ever want to max out with turmoil(Which you should, eventually). So take out a day and get the requirements for the quest. Because lets face it, with 80 attack, 99 strength, 30 defense, and 52ish prayer you'll get torn to pieces by non-maxed turmoil pures(Whom would still have 95 prayer). Trust me, you will face them at that level. Because i myself was at that combat level without turmoil and couldn't get many fights against other pures without turmoil. A "corrupt" pure(20 defense) is completely open to question, as i myself have never experimented with the idea of one. Advantages i know of are rune gloves, initiate, dagon'hai, and of course corrupt equipment if you can afford it. Quests that you should do for this build are nature's spirit for rune gloves and what lies below for dagon'hai.
