    Two words: Superglass Make.
  3. I clearly stated that crush and stab weapons DO HAVE USES, but slashing weapons are much more useful, and probably have a few times the uses compared to the two of them added together. Define "a lot". Maybe it was just coincidence on some, or maybe personal gut feeling made your opinion biased? I highly doubt 75% or so of monsters can be killed more efficiently using crush/stab compared to slash. On the contrary, it's the opposite IMO. I've spent literally hundreds of hours Dharoking monsters. Crush is my default setting when using that set. I can't prove definitively that it is better in every case but most of the time it is at least as good, if not better.
  4. Actually, you can make 100k per day in about a minute's time by buying 3,000 unfinished broad bolts and then re-selling them.

I've done it without prayer. But this is a case where I don't think it is worth it. You may well end up spending more on food than you would on prayer pots, and it's a hassle.
  6. They cannot be bought in assembled form from a slayer master. You can only buy unfinished broad bolts. Those can then be finished or sold as is.
  7. earth arnt that good :( tried it :( Well, I just tried them again to see if they were worse. I got 27 charms in 20 minutes, including 11 crimson. Great? No. But very good, given that they are very easy and require no supplies. Oh, and in that time I also got 100k worth of herbs, runes and seeds.
  8. Pike is extremely slow. Nearly anything is faster!

The best way to kill them is prayer with Dharoks. Don't get too low, just in case, but if you don't run from melee, they won't mage you except once in a while.
  10. I haven't tried obsidian specifically, but in general what you need there is high crush accuracy and strength. The Zammy spear is probably a better idea.
  11. Granite lobsters are also very useful familiars, where many others are not.
  12. MTK

As of yesterday, herbs are by far the most profitable. Raw fish and maples are close to each other, nearly tied for a (distant) second place. (This is summarized from the dynamic MTK calculator on my site, updated daily, available to subscribers.)

You can use a void ravager, which has a "visible" +1 mining boost. But it's a pricey pouch and using it is rather annoying.
  14. Never train with Guthans. It's ridiculously slow and there are much better options these days. Be sure to try earth warriors. They are excellent charm droppers and easy to kill.
  15. I dunno. I guess I have a hard time relating to either article. Is it really good to have a community or environment where decisions about whether to keep or undo changes are made based on who whines the most? Feedback, criticism -- sure. But whining? Is the game improved by having the squeaky wheel always get the grease? The second article I have a hard time really getting at all. I personally don't feel any particular draw to log in to RSC. If I did and I weren't a member, I'd join. That's the point of making features only for members. And in Runescape, F2P players get a lot *more* than they pay for.
  16. There are *tons* of ways to make money. But many of them aren't the most interesting things to do. What do you enjoy doing?
  17. Okay, redid some calculations. Here's what I found: Banking all: 29k/hr Dropping all: 38k/hr Dropping trout, banking salmon: 33k/hr
  18. In that case. Dropping would warrant an average of 33-35k an hour. Also keep in mind Random Events. It all depends on how fast you drop yadda yadda yadda.. REFER TO MY FIRST POST Looks like about 36-37k actually.
  19. Oh okay. My tests indicate about 30k/hr. But that's without dropping. I haven't compared to see if that's faster on F2P.
  20. The problem isn't that crush and stab don't have uses -- they do. The problem is that most of the "high profile" weapons are either slash only, or are superior on slash. When using Dharoks, I've found that the crush setting works better than slash on a *lot* of monsters.
  21. What level are you? And you are probably not saving any time by dropping the fish.
  22. Earth warriors in the Chaos Tunnels. Try them.
  23. Those ads pay squat. I know from personal experience. :)
  24. Good monsters for blues include aberrant spectres, kalphite soldiers and guardians, gargoyles, and high-level skeletons.
