  1. Cool stuff trap :D. The sleep thing will probably help me out, although I'm like the other guy in this thread -- it usually takes me a little to actually get to sleep. Will that still 'work'?
  2. Dunno about you, Nad, but Ubuntu is jut too easy for me. I had to switch to Fedora 8 (FTW) to get breathing agasin. I also use Vista, if you're wondering. Just a random fact, Mac OS X does run on Vista, if you do some tweaking... My friend and I are on a quest to run it on a PC. An RL quest. Meh, I figured the goal of an OS generally was to be as user friendly as possible while giving plenty of power to the user if they want, along with good security. Is Ubuntu limiting at all in what you can do in it? Also, you say you can run Mac OS X on vista... that doesn't make any sense. You don't run an OS on another OS, you would mean to say probably that you can get it to work with your hardware. (or, perhaps, you can emulate it through vista but I don't know if that is possible).
  3. Nice ter. :D I cracked up at the guy looking at the tree, haha. "why is it all pixelated!?"

  5. One lasts for maybe 15 hours, the other (if you want) can last for hundreds of hours. You decide. Seriously though, AC is a rental game and not something worth a full purchace. As far as oblivion goes I never played it that much, however I did beat the main campaign and the dark brotherhood questlines -- and that took quite a bit of gameplay time.

I'd rather this brick wall then dealing with another joke from the OP. :wall:
  7. 1. Others covered it. 2. No. 3. Generally, we don't. believers just think that us arguing against the existence of god or questioning it must mean it is a flame -- it isn't. If you can't handle a religious discussion don't view these topics.
  8. You should be able to just click on an empty space (not the edge of it) and click + drag your mouse to the bottom. I just tried it now with my PC.
  9. :wall: at the title :P . They are pretty good mate, reminds me of the style everyone at TIF seemed to [bleep] like 3 years ago. The sonic one is probably better, although he could stand to blend in a bit more. Also I think the tech element of the sig might be a bit cheesy -- it doesn't really fit in IMO. They also need borders. Psh, no way, shadow sucks. :P
  10. Hmm.. can't really count today, just woke up. But over the past few days: Bathory - Nordland I Bathory- Nordland II Agalloch- Ashes against the grain Bathory- Hammerheart Black Sabbath- Black Sabbath Sun O)))- Candlewolf of the Golden Chalice Sun O)))- 00 Void I think thats about all of them where I listened to the majority of the album's work over the past few days. :P
  11. Megadeth- Good Mourning, Black Friday.
  12. The first one is interesting as far as style goes, but I don't like the other two because they are much too blocky. While you might not be able to call it a pixel its still somewhat interesting, certainly different. I would work on just basic techniques a bit more (dithering and such) while keeping the cartoony style you currently have.
  13. Yeah, please. I was added tonight and I really didn't want to be in it. So eh -- yeah, please don't invite me into these.
  14. Ubutnuru (sp?) from what I hear is the easiest to learn. I'm not really big on linux knowledge however.
  15. You still don't know the entire story. You don't know how the person said it. All I am saying is people should try and view everything the same no matter the medium. Of course -- if the find the kid innocent, he should be just that -- innocent. It shouldn't go beyond that.
  16. It's not a virus, it's a toolbar -.- It's annoying because its there, and I can see it... Also I don't know what it's called. It has links to Zwinky, Smiley Central, Screensavers, Cursor Mania, and Fun Cards  Scan with adaware and Spybot. Yes, it isn't a virus so to speak -- but there is a very high chance it is adaware. At any rate it is a good first step to hopefully get rid of it. You could check in add or remove programs, but I doubt it would be there. ps: It isn't a good idea to argue with people when you're the one asking for help.
  17. Very cool, one of the better things I have seen from you to be honest. The color limitation works really well with it.
  18. The colors in the latest one are god awful, try and read up on color theory please. They just don't work well together at all. Also the fractual brushes or whatever you decided to use are pretty meh.
  19. Bathory- Hammerheart. Just... so.. EPIC.
  20. Love that song. :P Blue Oyster cult- take me away

lol, "they always lose connection to the internet". My god thats probably the most off the wall Mac vs. PC propaganda I've ever heard. Take this crap elsewhere, most of us don't enjoy having to pay $500 more for an equal system for a PC just for the mac name. Funny thing is most mac users end up dual booting XP or vista once they remember they can't play games.
  22. Something i notice in belgium: alot of elders with a head full of wrong things. -they see someone with different colour of skin, and think he's a burglar. -they see a guy with a piercing and think he's a rapist (my gf's grandmother really thinks like that) -they see a group of kids, and think they're disrespectful drug abusers and potential "piercing-guys". I guess it's just the time they grew up in. Don't trust anything that's strange.. Thinking like that lead, and is leading, to alot of problems in society. It's because they are from a different time. You have to remember, the world 60 or 70 years ago was a lot different -- only recently has equality really started to show. Most of the people are who quite old were just raised that way. I'm not saying it isn't wrong, but when you grow up like that for so long it's tough to not have that idea in your head.
  23. I have this vivid image of you flying fist forward like superman and just hitting the meteor dead on -- with it exploding -- with dragonforce blaring. ahaha. :XD:
  24. Yeah try those, I forgot if it was different for Vista or not :/ ps: I can't believe you bought a laptop without knowing what video card it had.
