  1. You'll want to use a shield because you don't have 92+ prayer. Fire surge is the best spell to use. Nechs can be chinned/barraged (check Bladewing's guide for specific strategy).
  2. Yup, 2,755 games of CW played. That's about 1,148 hours of doing nothing but CW. Obviously someone who doesn't care about CW and just wanted the membership.
  3. Out of curiosity, do you know the player who won the competition? Unless you do, you couldn't possibly know what their motives were for playing. Perhaps he/she does enjoy CW. And cocky? Where's the correlation between high levels and conceit? This contest was always going to go to a player over 130 combat. There was no question about that. I'm 136 combat. I must be cocky amirite.
  4. Yup, a player with maxed combat, 99 herblore, and 81 Dungeoneering. I'm actually pretty impressed with his kills. Interested in how he did it.
  5. Use the Dung Smith cc. A lot of nice people in there who could help you. Just request a spear.
  6. Wow, I didn't know that, either.
  7. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'm on a roll. Next up is 99 melees.
  8. I completely agree. I would given the chaotic crossbow and staff a little more accuracy, but I think they're very balanced overall.
  9. This topic is very relevant to my interests. Speaking of Hexhunter bows, apparently a lot of people lost their bound items after the Court Cases update, and a guy on the RSOF was complaining about losing his Hexhunter bow. If he really did lose one, that's a serious FML moment.
  10. Competition.
  11. I think it's important to include as many boosts as possible in tests like those, including extremes/ovls/supers/etc, like xpx said.
  12. I'm digging that setup and method, Bedman. Worthy gravedig.
  13. This is correct. I do p2p because I can insta-kill most people there. Plus, I think it's a lot more fun.
  14. Finally over. I stayed up all night and got 50 ranks or something. Gonna camp for an onyx after 99 slayer.
  15. I thought it'd be kinda cool if they incorporated the smithing update into dungeoneering. Promethium and gorgonite ore could be bought from Marmaros and used to enhance runite and adamant armor (respectively).
  16. So... Slayer: rapier (because of the low defence most slayer monsters have) Godwars: longsword (high defence monsters) PVP: maul (because of the KO ability) Right? <_< I only want to spend tokens on one weapon, so I truly hope this conclusion is false. :P If only dungeoneering weapons were exchangeable just like castle wars armour... Well, a rapier is clearly best for slayer/other low defense monster hunting. It's good for boss hunting, and it's shown to be pretty good for PVP. I think I've stated before in this thread and others, but rapier is the most versatile of the weapons.
  17. Oh [cabbage], you were one of the first players to get more than one skill to 200m experience, right? 91/99. Keep going.
  18. Heart Unit is still active.
  19. For your first few trips, use welfare gear.
  20. VERY cool.

If you want a real challenge, don't use a kyatt. ;) I did it before the kyatt method was known. Easily ranks as one of the funnest moments I've ever had in Runescape.
