what do u rekon is teh most useless skill out there?
No I am not making up any statistics and yes I fully read your statement. Now, it takes 0gp total to mine and craft a nature rune, if you don't include the OPPORTUNITY COST. Now as for the price, the street (aka market) price for runes has always been lower than what it is in the shops - even before runecrafting came out. You seem to be under the impression that runecrafting introduces free nature runes into the game...and I'm simply trying to tell you that's not the case. So sure, 20 billion might be disappearing from the game via the loss of runecrafting, but players would turn around and do something different for money and reintroduce that 20 billion back into the game. The way to look at it is via opportunity cost. Yesterday I bought 1k nature runes, and I smithed 1k mithril bars. Thats because the opportunity cost for doing so was about 10 gp per bar, worth it for the smithing xp. All other things equal, and Had it been 150 gp per bar, it would not have been worth it, therefore I would not have bought 1k nats, and I believe other players would be the same way.

Why do Void users always take my spot?
This happens many times at the Moss Giants on Crandor in F2P - some nub ranger will have rapid on, and take whatever giant spawns whenever. It stinks because they kill them as fast as I kill mine + respawn rate... and sometimes to really make things worse, they'll alternate between 2 at once just for the heck of it. Its why I like the introduction of PVP... I can go there with full hp, good armour, and any nub ranger who gets on is going to get KO'd.

people who are always just rating their own stats
Its only annoying when you're at a popular F2P spot and theres about 10 people at the same thing (Willows...) And another person walks up or walks by and says "WC Lvls?" And then you get to see everyone's stats again. For the 10th time. I suppose that being said, I've learned to go elsewhere to level.

No more video adverts?
I didn't mind watching the first video ad. But when I logged out, switched worlds, and had to watch another? Or If I logged out again to switch worlds, still yet another? Oh, and when 1/2 the ads were for FunOrb, don't tell me those ads were making Jagex money. And quit dogging about how Jagex's goal is to make money, and when they don't, you're unhappy for them. You're not Jagex, give it a rest. And if you were Jagex, you might understand that the video adverts, while in the short run made "significantly more money", in the long run could have caused less from people quitting or becoming disinterested in the game. For every player that gets turned off at F2P is one less member waiting to happen.

Wow, cool username! game
I'm not getting how those are cool... unless you just want to show all of TIF that you have 7 usernames, 2 of which are muted/banned.

Does Jagex Use The Grand Exchange To Get Rid Of Gp?
As long as they don't take out High Level Alchemy, the number of GP in the game will only continue to rise. As soon as they nerf alching, then things will get out of hand. Anyhow, this may just be signs of the GE lagging. Or its subject to FIFO - First In, First Out. Since there are so many different items with so many different players buying and selling at so many different prices, it could make it a CS nightmare to match everything up. I'm still amazed that the GE still works.

AD Refreshment
I've got adblock plus installed... I manually changed it to allow adverts from jagex. TBH I really wanted to delete that exception, but I figure that's how I pay my dues on F2P. I'll try the config thing though... we'll see what happens.

The turkey emote bug.
I thought you were talking about the end of the emote, when you become really big... I think that's the real glitch, not the fact you were stupid enough to be emoting when you shouldn't have been emoting.

Pictures of those TIFers! ~All NEW!~
Whos' going to explain it to this one? killerwatt - find and post screenies of about 10 people, and get your post count to well above 2k before you ask to be spotted. Even I know this, and I don't play the game. :P

What do F2Pers actually deserve?
 =D> Nice fail; have some fail-cake. It was baked especially for people like you. Even Jagex's CEO disagrees with you. OT: I modified the first post to reflect this recent change in events. Hopefully this will allow the discussion to open up and expand into different areas what we've not seen before. I like a good discussion. I think giving anything to F2P which would allow them to level a little bit faster, yet also make a member's life easier / cheaper / level faster is a win-win situation.

A lending ge!
I feel like this would cheapen the value of certain rare items...

what do u rekon is teh most useless skill out there?
What about skills that are worthless to raise after a certain level? I'd say that RC gives rewards for all the levels, like Smithing, prayer. -Mining would be cut after level 85. -F2P magic loses its value after 59... or cmb lvl 50, whichever comes first -Firemaking loses all value after f2p 60... and even then wasn't useful to begin with -All pures know that defense is the most useless skill ever -All tanks know that strength and attack are the most useless skill ever IMO Range, and Crafting are pretty worthless, especially in F2P. They're the skills I don't get any use out of :P.

Wow, cool username! game
I like the name I made for getting people on Clan Wars... Cloned Jesus. I also like the names Fated to Die, and Holy Crap A ... when you hover over this one it says "Holy Crap A" lvl 3.

A 'thank you' would be nice...
The more you know... Of course, he didn't know your situation, that you recently obtained it. The one thing you shouldn't have done was corrected everyone else... saying that it was OK and that you weren't annoyed. You should've given it to him until logout, and then when you feel he is in the fight pits, at some high level wave of monsters, logged out... his armour disappears, and he dies. That would've been funny.

Confirmed List of Runescape PVP Drops?
Zamorak Platelegs, Zamorak Full helm (Although the guy I killed was wearing full zammy)

Teleother spells - work on NPCs?
I thought the idea was epic win though. Too bad - maybe we should petition Jagex for that though.

best place to hunt in f2p
I've done alot of my training at moss giants - PVP worlds usually are empty, just make sure you get lobs when you're down to about 4 or 5. IF you do get attacked by someone, just gotta run north to the lesser demons, and let the lesser hit them. Then you can keep running up and down the rope until the 10 seconds is up, log out and go to a non pvp world. -sees

Teleother spells - work on NPCs?
Just wondering, do Teleother spells and the like work on NPC's? I think it would be funny if someone unleased a Corporal Beast in a PVP world... tele it to falador. Lemme know, and post a video if you try it and it works :P

Potions in F2P....what the hell....
So its different in P2P? I just kind of accepted it that you lose your boosted stats when you log out. TBH it doesn't bother me. I guess this is a F2P rant I'm not supporting ... (:P feels weird)

Merchant Clans: Genious or Folly?
Cooked lobsters have a price ceiling of 368 gp. I wish I had the data, the charts, a screenshot. But when PVP came out, you could not buy a cooked lobster on the GE for more than 368 gp, even though I'm sure people wanted to pay upwards of 500 gp per. In fact, for several days the middle price of a cooked lobster was the same as the max, 368 gp. Swordfish is another example - the max you could buy a swordfish for was around 470 gp. I know this because I bought about 25k of each before pvp was introduced, waited for 2k weeks afterwards, and saw this with my own eyes. Oh, and rune armour too. It was somewhere around 70k maximum for a platebody. You can know that a price is fixed when the median is closer to one end than another. And rune scimitars. And 2hs. Actually, pretty much all f2p combat related stuff had price ceilings. But I'm betting that you didn't see any of this, you didn't try to buy rune armour or scims or 2hs about 2 weeks after pvp came out. Trust me though, they were there.

Gravestones: Death not so Serious?
I was questing with my little sister, and I had to go do something real quick, so I logged out. I told her before I went that she should meet me in Varrock. She was near the goblin village, and wandered into the wilderness, was attacked by level 7 dark mages, and ended up dying. When I asked what she dropped, she said all of her money. And I was like, ok, the 500 gp I told her to get out for the quest. And then she says, no... all of it. All the 291k that she had gotten from drop parties and such, as well as all of her armour. 1 minute to get to a remote section of the map is not enough time... I was not able to make it. She was very disappointed, and hasn't played since.

F2P Fun, is it possible?
I enjoy GOP, FoG, BH, PKing and Clan Wars on F2P. I also enjoy merchanting and woodcutting when I get tired of those. Yes it is possible, otherwise I would've gone members about 2 years ago, or quit.

no more ents = no more broken axes?
Well, I've got 2 broken adamant pickaxes and 2 broken rune pickaxes. I bought them at max before the first GE price update, and I put an order in for 100 each - probably before many people noticed, or did anything about it. The price I paid was (I think) 1200 for adamant and 18000 for rune, or there abouts. IF jagex fixes them, then I will alch them (and make about 500 gp off the rune, and nothing off the adamant). IF jagex does not fix them, and they vanish, then I lost ~38k. IF jagex does not fix them, and they remain, then I have discontinued items. Have the randoms completely gone away yet? If not, you can start powermining and intentionally break a few pickaxes. And then you could sell those broken ones instantly at max, if you're worried what will happen to them. As far as the number of broken pickaxes, I think the total number hovers around 10k total. They aren't really used for anything....

F2p Spell book (WIP and suggestions needed!!!)
how about... INSTAWIN! costs 999 deaths, 999 airs, and 999 nats. Provides an Instant Win to runescape - not sure what exactly this would be, but its instant, and its win, and its magical. All in one. If anyone knows how to beat runescape... quote this in your reply... and then we'll figure out what INSTAWIN! does. Oh, and its a level 102 spell. So you'll have to figure out how to get 102 magic in f2p.

Magic: PKability with DoubleCast!
I'm not complaining about anything. If I was, I would have posted this under the rants section. MY point is that any combat spell in the regular spell book is underused, that crossbows and other weapons are able to hit in excess of 50 in one shot, even without specials, giving them a combat advantage that magic does not have. What you've described is not double casting, its timing 2 spells so that they overlap. Its like saying a range / 2h combo is the same as the dark bow's special, or a dds, when in fact its not, its timing. With a DoubleCast, there would be less clicking, less timing, more "luck", like there is with other weapons.
