Math isn't my strong point (So the following term is most likely something I made up), but isn't that a logarithmic curve? Or an r-curve. Whatever it's called. That's the last thing you want when the experience per level is exponential (J-curve). A logarithmic curve could be used to graph damage as a function of level (when talking solely about levels), but his point is that when you account for new gear that can be accessed at new levels, damage done seemingly behaves like an exponential function (not quite, but the damage looks like it exponentially increases if you take the points when new gear is unlocked). That being said, we're thinking too far ahead. We don't even have level 85 gear, let alone level 100, RS is just not ready yet for such a leap.

I was one of the people that was traumatized by that show. One of my most vivid memories of my childhood is when Courage opens a door, and behind it is a girl playing the violin. I find that too many videos online have absolutely horrible editing: either too edited to the point that it becomes seizure-inducing, or under-edited, when it looks like something a kid would make in elementary school. That being said, I find content and cohesiveness more important, with sound just behind image. I find that sound pulls me towards a video and then "completes it", however it won't do jack without the factors I mentioned earlier. By the way, what's the occasion for this thread :P ?

After being F2P for nearly three years, I did their two week trial like 2 weeks ago and I am still on the hiscores after going F2P once again. [hide] Most efficient I've ever been on RS - got about 20% more xp overall, which isn't bad for two hour days [/hide] Don't forget it takes a couple of weeks for them to remove you off the hiscores once you go F2P again. Skwysh has been F2p since August and is still on the hiscores. That's how I know. I'm guessing he's not the only one that has been F2P for >1 month and still on the hiscores? If yes, that is an interesting change, if it isn't a bug.

Although this will have the old school appeal, I haven't seen an MMO besides WoW that hasn't fallen off the radar and lost a majority of subscribers. Although, I admit, this one might find a niche in old school gamers.

You call giving Count Draynor a facelift an update to vampire slayer? Nothing about the quest was changed outside of graphics and some streamlining. I'm surprised you guys are so against a quest that requires you to kill an Edward Cullen look-a-like :? .

Or, you know, a good old-fashioned retcon. I'm pretty sure they've done that in the past. They've also used tectonic activity to explain the appearance of the god wars dungeon. Point is, they've got so many ways to add in new land (new islands, new lands, retcon, natural phenomenon) that there's no need to be worried about it.

So.. choose a new hairstyle for around $4.50, or choose an entire outfit for $6.00? I'd choose the latter.

Insta-heal looks a bit weak, to be honest. Why heal yourself to full when you can dodge death, or even better, kill the enemy before they even damage you with instakill?

But ah well, I like it how Jagex is updating old quests. I believe a Black Knight's Fortress quest is also in the works. Now they've got to update Rune Mysteries so that it's not a delivery quest anymore, and turn Vampire Slayer into a quest where you get to kill a sparkling vampire.

They had to connect the oceans for the upcoming sailing skill, guys :P . On a more serious note, tectonic activity or sea level changes can increase the size of the land. Relax.

According to Jagex in the latest livestream, they want to make skill levels "wider" instead of "higher" by making players interested in their levels because the xp curve in RS is already very steep.
