Hello all, after a long retirement of these forums I am back. I've been playing since the dawn of RS2. Anyways, I made a pure, being F2P on a max combat isn't much fun, and I've always been an advocate of pures. My main started off as a pure as well. Anyways, being F2P and quite the resourceful felllow, I obtained a lot of wealth over the short period of my pure's life. The Bank worth of said aforementioned pure is about 9m. Now to the question: What use is money in F2p, other than buying PK supplies, and merchanting? Of course there is this new Gravite shananigan recharge going on, all for the better in my eyes which requires recharge rates (Good Job Jagex at finally a new money drain that ACTUALLY works); but what is money really used for in F2p, especially on a pure? To me, 5m is essentially 50m, with obvious minute implications, but the same in juxtaposition. Discuss?

Failure is proportionally affected by how much you enjoy the game as others have said. You definitely don't seem as if you are having the most fun in your life right now. Take a break, do some other things, and after a while the slow but eventual pull of the RSZOREZ will get you. Give it time :P But yeah, your stats are pretty trash, if that's what your pointing at. Sorry for the ambiguous answer, but your question in itself wasn't to concrete either.

Sometimes when I'm angry I 1 item with AGS. Lol.. I've even k0ed a max mager before. (Of course no 3rd age mage ammy, but ahrims, fury, m wand and the like.)

But the comment about my melee stats vs. slayer level - That's another thing I'm sick of. I choose to get far better XP and drops using methods other then slayer; why does that matter to you? The fact that you were dumb enough to waste 100s of hours training slayer disgusts me. (Sarcastic irony, by the way... I realize that some people enjoy training slayer, and like I said I have no problem with that. I just don't like them saying that it is the best way to train combat) The same argument could be used for anything - to see someone with your stats only having 70 cooking, it disgusts me. The thing is that a hard skill(hard being it takes a while) like slayer commands some respect. Cooking on the other hand can be trained insanely easily. If you have 76 slayer with 99 melees, it just shows you stayed in a spot and clicked your pots. Hell, you even said zombie monkeys requires "zero attention". I don't think parking at zombie monkeys, opening up another screen and watching family guy is worth anything. So your insulting me for not having a high slayer level? L0L nice runecrafting level nub. And hunter. And smithing. And agility. And herblore. And prayer. And total level. And blah blah blah. Just because someone chooses to train a faster, easier way does NOT mean you should insult them. Sorry, I'm off my high horse. Seriously, using my 76 slayer as an insult kind of annoys me. I choose to train my combat faster and with less effort; you chose to train it more slowly and work harder for it. Well, although its an image on screen, doesnt make it un-important. It's like saying "Money is just paper and gold is just rock" And a masterpiece is just paint on a canvas, and a medal of honor is just a silly piece of bronze? I get that alot. Runescape is an online game, it's not and never was anything important. To put it on the same pedestal as a masterpiece is a fallacious premise. You say Runescape are pixels is the same as -> A masterpiece is just paint, a masterpiece is more than just paint thus Runescape is more than just pixels. That's your premise. Thing is, Runescape is nothing comparable to a masterpiece. It is an image on screen, period. You're not killing monsters, you're sitting on a chair. Bit off topic, to come back to the subject at hand: If the pixels become actual burdens, you get rid of them. Who in their right mind would continue to be burdened by it simply because strangers you will never meet, and that don't really care, will be impressed? That's insanity. Deep..
