  1. Well if they give enough xp maybe prayer will be cheaper. Prayer is too expensive to train.
  2. Tbh Jagex should just create an underground fallador park right below the GE with a staircase leading to it. I would love to sell/buy at falador but the GE is too far away. However I hate world 2 GE because there is not enough room and it is hard to tell what is being sold where. We need something like Fally Park right next to the GE.
  3. By your logic I should either always have a backup 200m to buy back my items, always welfare everywhere and never take anything good, or never go anywhere dangerous. The risks of going somewhere dangerous is death and losing your items. At one point the high alch value on death actually worked because the best items were rune and the most you would die with is 50k. However, times have changed and the system should change as well.
  4. Why would a discontinued item from 2003 be worth 3 times as much as a discontinued item from 2002? The item from 2003 should be more common. There could only be one for each person.
  5. To me the biggest thing is it is dropped by the hardest, most expensive boss to kill and it is a terrible bow. It has no special attack, it requires two hands and it costs a lot to use. The only reason I would use this bow is if it did not require a recharge.
  6. Thanks for the welcome + you should get the iPad 2 when its released if you have the money. If not, its not like iPad 1 is bad :) Or just get a laptop for the same amount of money.
  7. It's not chaos tunnels. Most likely a new dungeon in the wildy to kill green dragons. I just don't remember dragons ever having teeth.
  8. I'm going to put mine on 10 herb 5 logs. Then I'll wait...
  9. Nice video. Never understood why people used other spells than blood barrage though. Why was that? From what I remember, shadow spells have a higher chance to hit than the other spells.
  10. So, this may be bit of a big bump. But anybody want to share the best resources to put your workers on?
  11. No eating in class! Detention! :shame: EDIT: I tend to do all the homework I got at school, and assignments while chopping ivy/standing at armoured zombies. I can play ~7 hours per school day & do all the work I'm supposed to do. Also, not having a social life isn't that bad. I have loads of friends at school but the last time I went to someone's house would be 1 year ago  College. University.
  12. You do know there's a safe entrance in varrock right? However, it isn't too safe and convenient spending 30 minutes going through portals just to get to black demons. Especially considering the portals like to randomly teleport you way too much.
  13. Finally decided it was time to sell them. Bought them in march last year before I quit for a while, but now that I've started to play again I decided to sell. Gained 20m haha.
  14. Well it's the most profitable way to train magic... High Alching at Dharoks room and waiting for people to die.
  15. I was thinking about that too :P Get it in early enough and maybe you might get it some day ;)
  16. That would make sense, but I think you underestimate just how much GP is in the game and how few rares there are. There really aren't as many lower rares in the market as people think. With the return of staking the amount of rares traded will go down even further because pures will grab hold of a good amount to stake and to wear since partyhats are way too expensive. The current demand for lower rares is quite low, but only because the lower rares just crashed. They crashed because everybody paniced. People panic, people sell, the item goes down and down. However, with free trade I don't see rares ever going down. They never did before 2007: they always rose at a steady, slow pace.
  17. My opinion... Santas dropped a whole lot, but only because once it starts to drop there is no stopping it. People freak out. The same for the rise. Once people notice they are going back up again, they jump on the bandwagon. It is risky though, because with free trade coming out in the distant future there will be a fair amount of older players returning with their rares they left dormant. Especially all the old pures with stacks of rares.
  18. I didn't mean to buy it... I was thinking of buying it to range in, but decided against it...then the ge updated so I put my sell offer. And out comes a successful merch!
  19. Pff they didn't mention how construction was a completely random update that they never mentioned in any BTS, other than stating we could now sit in chairs.
  20. It takes up way to much of my time. Not even lying, it's border line addictive for me (not saying the game itself is addictive and everyone playing is addicted, it's just that I have an addictive personality). I would log on and tell myself I'll just get on and check my G.E. offers, next thing I know I've been slaying for 8 hours straight. And it wouldn't even cross my mind that I'd just spent a good portion of my day accomplishing nothing. It had gotten to the point where when my friends asked if I wanted to hang out in real life, I would sit there and think of all the things I wanted to do on RS that night, and a lot of the time I would make up bs excuses about having other things to do. Then I'd spend the whole night (pretty much 5pm-4am) on RS. That is why I had to make sure that if I were to come back, it wouldn't be fun for me. <_< So I guess while quitting, I'm sort of kicking an addiction. Time to get my grades on track and then get a job. Sorry, but you'll still be back in a couple of months. (blue mask) Sorry, but you didn't read where I said I'll be giving it to a long time friend of mine when free trade comes back. I was actually going to high alch the blue mask, I had the runes and mask in my inventory, clicked the high alch spell, then my friend logged in right as I was about to click so I pmed him and said "Bout to high alch my blue mask before I log off for good lolz". He was like "NOOOOOOOOOOO, wait for free trade and give it to me!". So yes, I knew the mask would be enough to entice me back into this game if I left it sitting on the account, and was already planning on getting rid of it. You will most likely come back. The most fun in the game is had when starting new. If you really don't want to be tempted to play again give the account away, sell it, change the password, or something. I suggest you get yourself banned :)
  21. I don't like it because it makes the armor seem useless. It becomes a situational armor, like barrows to me. If I were to buy the full set I would only use it when I really needed it, but because there are no monsters in RS that actually needs great defense I would never use it outside of bosses. The armor is cool and the HP boost is nice, but with the cost of repairing it I will probably never use it. I have no problem staying alive anywhere in RS with just barrows or bandos, so what is the point in going overkill with armor that degrades. However, if it didn't degrade I would use it and use it a lot.
  22. You say you need proof??? BAM! Here's your proof!
  23. Whose idea was to make the new armor so rare and expensive. This doesn't fix the combat system. This just makes the rich and extremely lucky even more powerful than they already were. And the new Bow is pointless. Jagex advertised it like it was this amazing bow that requires absolutely NO ammo! However you have to recharge it, which is the equivalent to using ammo. So it is basically an extremely expensive Bow that requires extremely expensive "Invisible" ammo.
