  1. I'm quite displeased with the new armor and bow. Why does every single high level equipment have to degrade? Can't Jagex just make one set of armor that is great and has no negatives? Edit: Also I thought this was a way to make PvP less of a 1 hit kill scenario. Well not at the price this armor is at.
  2. I have every non tradable but the last two events. The quest to do them are so dumb and pointless, and the rewards are hideous and have nothing to do with the holiday.
  3. Or as mentioned be designed in such a way that you need two people to deal damage. The first day it will seem both incredibly strong for small teams and easily killed in seconds by the masses. In time we will see standards like 6man corp emerge for it. Hard to tell what works and what doesn't right away. lets make nex a lvl 1 imp, but 1 person cant do dmg on it, however if 2 people are in the room then you just 1 hit it there jagex made an unsoloable boss....oh what thats [bleep]ing retarted if they want to make it unsoloable, dont make some dumb rule, just make it hard Well, that dumb rule makes it so we can't just be able to solo it 3 years from now when Jagex gives us flamethrowers and we can 1-hit every boss. Well they already tried that idea with DK's and people still try to solo.
  4. Most MMO's support and accept community made hotkeys and UI add-ons. I don't see what the big deal is if everybody can do it and he is not AFK. Think of the command/script as a mouse. He says something, the mouse clicks. End of story. umad cause ucant create scripts.
  5. What part of any of this makes you right?
  6. You guys are all so quick to assume this is Torva armor. It's not even positive the new GWD armor will be Torva.
  7. Runecrafting was released with RS2 and Player Moderators were released on 14-Jun-2004 (Source).
  8. Well if you think about it... Quests are in development for a while, and from what I've read up to 6 months. However, Jagex has said their new bot detection system has only been in place for a couple of months. I could only assume Jagex' original plan was to have a new gravestone that lasts much longer, but because of Free Trade around the corner Jagex decided it was best to keep the gravestone times where they are. When free trade is back nobody is going to bless gravestones. If Jagex really wants to bring back the game to where it used to be it isn't by adding more time to gravestones that weren't around.
  9. Guys don't go nuts over finding the next best efficient way to train. Any ranged weapon as powerful as D-Bolts and as fast as a C-Bow that takes no ammo to shoot should be a rangers dream. As long as the bow doesn't degrade I can see it as being the whip for Rangers. So what if it isn't as quick to train with as Chins are. Range is underpowered in PvM and costs too much if you want to hit your max. Any range weapon that requires no ammo is welcome to me, especially if I don't have to pick up my arrows after each kill.
  10. Lol anybody remember this? Something about everybody spamming the RSOF with "Grats Rip", then a Jmod came in the TIF chat and told us to stop. Haha.
  11. WHAT?! Oh my. Jagex would never... Barrows gloves, dragons boots, Infinity boots, ranger boots. All the best boots and gloves have been around for years upon years. Why would Jagex ever want to add more?
  12. Nice, but my 40" TV beats your monitor any day.
  13. Maybe the surprise is an update to the clan system. You know, so that organizing all these events would actually be possible! No need to be the negative Ned, but these community get togethers are stupid and not needed.
  14. Well either way they will both be useless when free trade comes back. The only demand for unweildable rares will be the collectors, whereas at the moment it is largely the merchanters. I predict there to be a much smaller demand and a drop in price of Pumps, Half Wines, Easters, and disks. Crackers are something entirely different. Partyhats and other high demand items will be bought with gold, thus there is no reason to own a pumpkin. To the guy buying the disk: you can do what you want, but once free trade is back nobody is going to want your item because they are all wanting to get rid of theres.
  15. Oh dear, never remembered Mahatma was such a [cabbage]. Flaming each one of his opponents, going red in the face for someone potting or using a prayer  He wouldn't last 5 minutes in today's RuneScape... It's a strategy. If you get your opponent flustered and distracted you are more likely to win ;) Works every time.
  16. Out of all my years playing through classic and RS2 I can only remember one time somebody told me to meet them somewhere near the wildy. I started playing in 2002 and was only scammed twice; both times to different guys switching items at the last seconds. In my opinion scamming is perfectly fine, and in a way needed in the game. It makes the game feel more realistic and like you are actually playing with human being. Scammers make the game more risky and merchanting more entertaining. It keeps you on yours toes when trading. I might decide to start playing the game again just for the entertainment of killing people luring traders into the wildy. Plus with the added risk of of being scammed and lured, less idiots will play the game. Free trade will hopefully weed out the kids and make the game as mature as it used to be.
  17. The design and models make me believe this was made inside their engine. The way everything looks really does seem like we will be seeing an upgrade to the graphics in game. Or perhaps this is just a sample of the way cut scenes are going to look.
  18. You guys are aware that with free trade nobody will actually "buy out" anything anymore. There are much better forms of merchanting with free trade, and buying out items would be impracticable since the GE does not set the prices. The item would just become a price war while it rises for a few hours. Anybody who offers more than the clan is offering will automatically get the item, therefor spoiling their plans. It may raise slightly in price, but it will never be impossible to buy.
  19. Lol you finally got all 100k? Nice.
  20. Now give it a little bit longer. So you've hit the Peak of the R2H and you find that Rune bars have hit the Trough. Give it a little bit longer and everything will be back to normal, just at a different price. Economy baby. Economy.
  21. Any grind without AFK is a [bleep]ing mundane and "Hard" skill. I quit playing when Jagex stopped making AFK content because everything in Runescape is grind, grind, grind. If the population of Runescape knew there were MMO's that don't require grinding, then Jagex would be dead.
  22. I remember the day I started..... Loaded client, created account, appeared in Lumbridge...with nothing in my inventory at all. I don't see a big deal with having no items to start with. It will make the community more mature because all the little kids with short attention spans will quit before they can find a hatchet.
