  1. Not worth it, but I will personally will be getting it just to look like a real woodcutting later on: after all, it's a small bonus, but it's a couple QP, some exp, and a cool outfit to get when I really need a break from WC. It's up to you?
  2. Does not link directly... and this is not a T.V. show... but I will check it out. Misleading title.
  3. I believe that you are supposed to do it on another account, perhaps their way of telling if you are a dedicated (and for the most part) paying member?
  4. Ok, going to check the xp/cost/profit rates for everything, probably make a guide later.
  5. Ok, I have confirmed it: mahogany are horrible XP compared to teak, and not a very useful way of making money either. Teaks it is then, all though I am leaning towards parceling them and buying logs at a later date to burn, so it doesn't seem like such a long goal.
  6. So no matter what way I choose to dispose of, it sounds like I should do teaks?
  7. I've finished my goal of 99 fletching :thumbsup:and I am now going to go for 99 woodcutting, albeit rather more slowly. I just finished chopping and burning teaks in Tai Bwo Wannai, and in one hour gained the following (approximate) experience: 1 hour of cutting & burning Teaks: 35k Woodcutting XP 41k Firemaking XP 1 hour of woodcutting Mahogany: 40K woodcutting XP As anyone can tell, it will take me quite a long time to get 99 Woodcutting or 99 Firemaking. I am currently cutting and parceling mahogany. I have several other options available, and wanted to know is anyone else had any input on them. Additional Woodcutting Options: Chop and burn teaks Chop and drop teaks Chop and parcel teaks Chop and burn mahogany Chop and parcel mahogany (What I'm doing now) If anyone has any input, I would really appreciate it.
  8. I don't see this as ever having been a very serious way to make money, or to RWT, so I'm not sure of the motive behind it, but this update was a footnote, and it happened quite a while ago... I do agree though, it is rather stupid: why should people have to go to all of the work to running to buy them, when they would rather buy them? I think maybe shop prices should be lowered to allow people to make a profit, but not to make an enormous one.
  9. My record is a measly 9 (I don't farm much) but I have seen vids and screens of 19+.
  10. I agree with some things, although I do feel like I have seen many of the ideas before. I do not, however, agree with the whole "balm in armor" idea, and titanium, by the way, is not an ore, and would seem ridiculously out of place in the medieval setting in RuneScape.
  11. Wish I had the requirements, but I don't think that I'll be able to try this anytime soon, lol.
  12. The prices will drop a bit, but not that many bones will be banked, and the price of them will drop, after all not many were being bought or sold before that. Now more will be and the price will decrease. What's the major freakout for?
  13. No, after all, if everyone (even low risk people eg. ages 13-40 with no health issues) are vaccinated, the virus may build an unnecessary immunity.
  14. There isn't really one.
  15. I hear soul wars is better than PC, but still both poor range xp.
  16. Teaks are best, then willows. Never do maples: poor money, and bad exp. Even for firemaking, you're better off using the time you save to make money.
  17. The axe heads all became new axes, and the handles all disappeared, or so I remember being told.
  18. Rune C'bow does more damage, knives hit faster.
  19. If it was me, I would RC: I tons of cash. Not positive, but I think that just like in the old wildy, only pures will be really successful. No specific recommendations, sorry.
  20. Soft clay can get you 50-75K an hour, but I've never heard of the pastry dough method.
  21. DFS looks sick, but I would probably go for a GS.
  22. I would suggest Zammy Spear.
  23. Playing 7 hours a day is a lot, and seeing as you only need 12,283,847 XP, if you get 100k exp a day, you'll have it in under 130 days. Playing 7 hours a day, it shouldn't take you that long.
  24. If you try to cut, it will take you a VERY long time. Getting 99 fletch without losing money is very hard: I lost somewhere between 3-5 mil, and alced and made nats for part of that. Doing yew longs is a good way, but I would give up on not losing money, and just try to find a balance between good cash and fast exp: after all, if you spend an hour to save 50k, and you can make 50k/hour, then you might as well just have spent the extra money: it goes towards your goal. Also, DO NOT count on using fletching as a moneymaking tool after 99: there is no real reason to do anything after yew longs for cash, and chances are, you will be fairly tired, if not sick of it, after you reach the vaunted double-nine. Good luck with your goal, and if you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.
