Pretty much so. Maybe it's my addy plate alch madness that biased me to my answer :P I don't really see how mithril bars sell so easily though, the only times I buy them is to make arrowtips/bolt tips.

I don't know if you can pull off yew, but I know most my friends who have adze used magic. Also according to jagex, the adze is equivalent to a dragon axe and rune pick.

I found magic really entertaining to level, despite what I had to pull out of my virtual wallet to get what I have now. IT was extremely enjoyable for me, and maybe that's why I went to 99 :P Alternatively some skills like construction, thieving, and hunter are just zzz's for me. Ironically, I enjoy runecrafting and herblore more :roll:

Dust devils perhaps may have a high crim drop rate for it's level, it drops gold charms much more often. I would go with waterfiends.

I would say addy. It is more clicking, but it also sells much easier than mith bars. :\

^ Agree. If you do the tree method you're bound to lose money no matter what, so it's easier to plant some herbs on the side to help make some of it back. Alternatively, you can use them for herblore since herb prices have soared.

Battlestaves! You'll increase crafting and magic at the same time. Buy the uncharged orbs (unless you choose to make them yourself) and then charge them at an appropriate obelisk, add them onto plain battlestaves, and then alch or sell, it doesn't take too long to sell. Last time I checked you should profit with airs.

I say the same. Using Graahks is much faster. DOn't forget super energy potions or just the normal ones, they help massively.

It would make it much more difficult, but I haven't heard of someone doing it without one. Don't forget to wear light gears, and the boots of lightness/spottier cape and all.

Agree. It's just the close-melee-stats that won't help you much, unless you mage/range.

My knowledge is limited, so I can only answer your first question: Do NOT train controlled unless you don't plan to become a melee PKer. It WILL RUIN YOU. That's how I messed my stats up with 80 def. HOWEVER, if you do decide to do some boss hunting, and major bosses such as GWD or Corp Beast, then train controlled with a whip. My personal favorite is the dragon scim + defender. The other choice provides less accuracy if I remember correctly.

No best type. With your stats you can do range/2h or just scim/2h. For the first type, 50+ range and 50+ strength. Have range and str close together. The second will give you less hp than the first. Leave strength some 10-20 levels higher than attack, then raise attack accordingly.

Died in CT after a bronze dragon 3 hit KO'd me, lost guthans when it was 7m full :D

If you use prayer, explorer's ring.

No cannon in ct. To be honest you won't get efficient crimson charms at dust devils; better to just wait for waterfiends.
