  1. Zamorak: rapier (+ defender if you want all out dps). Graardor: rapier + defender small teams & solo, maul large (4+) teams.

It would take approximately your lifetime to pay for itself (but of course you get the levels, that's nice). It takes 80k to build a dark pit, and you need it once a month (or less) if you do some good planning.
  3. ^I might add that opening them with summoning in order to get a steel titan seems worth it to me, but of course you might not agree. Cooking and firemaking aren't that far apart really, so if you cba waiting, open them with cooking. You do need to get an adze sometime, though, so it's also worth waiting for that. Otherwise I would certainly recommend Blade's list.
  4. Iirc rocktails were ~45k before urns so they would be 54k after, approximately (banking fish, too). One fish is 380 xp, so ~120 catches/hr, 200k gp or so? Cavefish are worse in every aspect. Barbarian was ~70k, would become 84k. It's better to do if you value your time over 500k per hour or so.
  5. Order for weapons is cmaul > ss > zspear > random stuff you shouldn't bother using. Waterfiends are tough. Just low-levelled but they hit quite well and they have quite a lot of defence, + you can't turmoil them properly. They are essentially the mithril dragons of the fiends group. Don't use inferior gear on them.
  6. 21% mage damage and fire surge I think?
  7. You happen to have the best possible 3 binds already, lol. If you had 4 binds you might choose to take a blood neck over a saggitarian body depending on whether you key that row or not.
  8. Exactly, if you had a bind bank and you could pick two, you should still go for hood + 2h. A bind bank only really becomes important once you get 3+ binds, and even then.
  9. Varrock tele > firemake to bank > bank > tele etc. Backwards at GE is better still, but idk how to :P.
  10. ^Farming has not become a mediocre moneymaker, lol. And slayer still sucks even with the new drops.
  11. Moved to H&A :). Chaotic weapons get their damage reduced by 50% and non-spear weapons by 50% again. If you want to use a shield you should divine flash w/ zspear.
  12. Assuming maxed gear (slayer task, so Bandos + fire cape in Kuradal's): Rapier hits 672 every 2.4 seconds. Cls hits every 3 seconds so you need to hit 25% higher than the rapier (incl accuracy, but ignoring that). Means cls needs a max of 840. Current max is 730, means you need to add strength bonus to increase that by 110. That requires 36 additional strength bonus. Cls @ +156 strength ftw :D. For maul, it needs to hit 50% higher or 1008, current max being 819, which needs 62 more strength bonus. Maul with 217 strength, hah. Of course at Bandos god wars you'd be using spectral, Karil's top, perhaps imbued dragonstone over berserker etcetera so the longsword catches up a little, but only a little.
  13. Yew. I don't recommend it.
  14. Yes, 1.5-2m if you do it properly (piety & potting 2-3 times per run, cannon). Leave cannon while banking. Use house tab > rimmington (chipped or because you live there), recharge prayer at the little chapel on the way. You will have to test how long you take to fill up tort + inv but in general 4 doses of antifire, 4 doses of super pots, and ~12 doses of prayer would be good, along with 4 monkfish?
  15. I would almost suggest a lava titan for the +10 firemaking boost, but then you can't bank ashes/bones or heal or w/e you'd normally do, so yeah, get 99 firemaking :P. Even at 99 the cannon costs more gp + inventory space than kxbow, the second best.
  16. Put it this way: the suggested way to kill black dragons mentioned a rune halberd.
  17. ^With a wolper the OP can use earth surge, no need for water surges.
  18. Better for the geyser to hit 20 on a monster than your own chaotic rapier, you lose way less damage. That's how I use my geyser/wolper anyway. It's different with irons and steels of course.
  19. Well assuming you want a fairly low-levelled pure, I'd get those strength levels and try mauling. If you don't like that, get attack to 60, ranged to ~80, magic to 82 and do desert treasure (getting ancient magics). If you don't like that either get 30 defence and turmoil. If you don't like that yet again, try 45 defence, 70 defence etc moving up, or do the same with attack (chaotic pures).
  20. ^Story of Jagex, they got the same trouble with MA really, and the lever puzzle in EW3. I thought the quest lacked epicness. No difficult puzzles or bosses. I killed Barrelchest in 6 hits, then some random stuff in the dungeon, but that's all really. Not a single challenging piece.
  21. It will retaliate against anything that attacks you but this will take a while - it's much faster to direct them to attack.
  22. If you have to slay for range/mage xp, just mage + cannon everything. Use a wolper for added mage xp & level boost, scroll every minute.
  23. Karil's on waterfiends, black hide when not tanking magic attacks. Though black hide does work on fiends.
  24. Got all reqs, bought a superior quest kit, ready to go :).
  25. The base slayer gear is as follows (alternatives in brackets): [For all slayer monsters except those mentioned under other weapons] Chaotic rapier (whip) Bandos body + legs (Verac's skirt with either fighter torso or proselyte top) [Depending on prayer/accuracy needs] Fire cape/Soul Wars cape/Ardougne cloak 3 Barrows gloves (your best rfd gloves, at least rune) Dragon boots (rune boots) Amulet of fury (glory) Dragon defender (rune defender) Berserker ring (i)/ferocious ring if slaying in Kuradal's Dungeon (berserker ring, warrior ring) [Most important] Full slayer helmet. [For magic defence on waterfiends/aquanites] Karil's top and elite void skirt (black dragonhide body and chaps) [Crush attacks to use on waterfiends] Chaotic maul (Saradomin sword, Zamorakian spear) [stab attacks for higher-levelled dragons, when not using rapier] Korasi's sword (Zamorakian spear, leaf-bladed sword) Task-specific items such as mirror shields, antifire shields/potions, elemental shields, rock hammers, crystal chimes Cannon (optional, up to personal preference) Slayer setups generally emphasise strength bonus, which increases the average damage of each succesful hit (slayer monsters usually having rather low defence, hitting is not a problem). Secondly, prayer bonus is important to keep the cost of prayer potions down (as you slay with piety on, to increase the speed of your kills. This is cost-effective and highly recommended). As a rule of thumb, +15 prayer bonus or above is good, but don't overdo it (anything above +25 is a waste). Defence and accuracy bonus are usually not fretted over (any defence bonus over 200 will do; if you get hit too often you should be using a protection prayer). Dagganoth, black demon, lesser demon, hellhound, bloodveld and spectre tasks should be cannoned, as it dramatically increases xp rates (although it costs a bit). Some notes on gear: You'll want a fury and a berserker ring before you get bandos plate, and get that before tassets. You'll want accuracy bonus on higher-levelled dragons; if using stab attacks (which you should) you can use the Ardougne cloak 3 which provides you with +6 stab and +6 prayer bonus. Torso + sw cape and fire cape + proselyte are common cheap top/cape combinations; the former is better. Some levels to get for slayer (in approximate order but I'm not sure on the summoning): 68 summoning - bunyip 81 dungeoneering (you need 2 million xp, which takes you to level 80, but allowing some tokens for the scroll of life) - rapier 89 herblore (85 with a +4 stew boost) - extreme potions, superantifires 95 prayer - turmoil and soul split 88 summoning - unicorn 96 herblore (91 with a +5 stew boost) - overload 99 summoning - steel titan I'm sure I missed something but this is most of it. ^Common post of mine, should explain stuff a bit. Since you are 99 prayer, curses are within easy reach and 120% worth it. Farming while dging for a rapier is the way to go IMO, you won't have a use for 99 atk (within dg) until 89 dungeoneering anyway, but the rapier seriously benefits slayer (I think 20% faster dragon tasks, 10% faster on other tasks). Farming makes a lot of money, once you can do torstol with juju you can expect 400k/5 minute run but you can do only one ever 70-80 minutes.
