  1. Did you know, tip.it is going to be renamed tds.drop. I teled mid-kill because I was having some small dcs for the second time during the trip. Not to soon to get a claw drop & an effigy (I can't do but alright). I got a drop rate going here methinks.
  2. Maul + handcannon with piety and rigour is very good. Rapier + handcannon works too, but you have to switch defender. Maul + kxbow @ low firemaking is also good. Overall, they are both good.
  3. Thing is that the normal prayer set is not oriented towards any one god. All gods grant their followers powers. A Zamorakian would use piety just as a Saradominist would. Both smite their opponents. So making the regular prayers 'Saradominist' doesn't make sense imo, at all. Curses are an entirely different style of worship. Instead of focusing on followers as actors being buffed by their god, the god directly influences non-believers (we'll assume people with curses use them on enemies). So instead of doing something with the aid of your god, you're acting as a conduit for Zaros' negative power. Or something (ofc turmoil messes that up but ok). You could see that as a manifestation of the Edicts of Guthix. Saradomin and Zamorak do not directly influence the world unless invited to by followers, out of their free will. Zaros also affects others.
  4. The crossbow is quite accurate, good for (safe) pvp, tds w/ deflector, Kree'arra, Nex, KQ if you all-range her, probably decent for dks as well. The maul is good for waterfiends, tds, Nex, Graardor (teams especially), Zilyana (teams only), KQ. Cls is erm, not good. You can use it for tanking Zilyana, Graardor, tds. However it'll never be really much better than rapier. On the actual bosses, cls = rapier for the most part, but on the minions rapier >> cls so you'd still be going for rapier.
  5. Use melee gear & pray mage. You want to tank the queen's attacks to keep the knights alive & tank the rangers which requires ranged defence. Borrow bcp and buy torag's legs or something.
  6. You need a higher-levelled friend to kill it and hit it once, as Pluckey said but without the mass.
  7. Did I talk you into fury/berserker ring? I do that sometimes.
  8. Grats on GLOBAL moderator n00b I NEED TO FINISH SKILLING SO I CAN RETURN TO EFFIGYSCAPE FMLLL Thanks. Krimi, I need c1s but not 30-35.
  9. You can make a thread in suggestions to discuss the actual prayer books ;-). As for devoting yourself to a god... that'd be very difficult to implement. As it stands, Gielinor's gods are powerful individuals who have large-scale plans & give people power to carry them out. So for a person to be meaningfully devoted to a god, you'd need to make those plans real. E.g. if 90% of the players supported Zamorak, you'd want to see Zamorak temples all over the place or it'd be useless. Right now there's big stuff going on with Guthix and Zaros and Mahjarrat. It'd be stupid to see that storyline go on if lots of people were anti-Zaros. Then again it'd be stupid if you could only choose between Zaros and Guthix or something. Game mechanics-wise, I'm devoted to Zaros as I use curses, always. So I think, not going to happen.
  10. I would like to add to that that warlocks are like ivy. More relaxed and if you don't like agility, it'll save you some pain. Jebrim should add warlocks to his goal of 10.000 laps @ each course or something.
  11. I'd take hood - neck - 2h - plate (if I had 100 dg that is). I key sometimes but I'm happy to go for melee dps with a surgebox as backup.
  12. I'm 125 combat ;-). I'll be getting 126 soon enough, waterfiends are amazing xp (well 80k/hr hehe).
  13. You forgot to add stardates :(. Good luck on farming, do torstol.
  14. Actually 3bo won't allow anyone under 105 dg to join. You can use their world, however nobody guarantees you'll get on a team (be friends with the keyer, that helps). As for 30 minute floors, those are higher floors only. Earlier floors can take as little as 20 mins. Mostly, it's people with high combat stats (faster kills = faster gd's) and a good keyer (efficient movement). For example, a group of 5 level 110s with gorgonite 2hs and platebodies will be stopped dead by a primal kite + battleaxe warrior - the defence is astronomical. A group of 138's with hoods, surgeboxes and promethium 2hs (flashing turmoil as appropriate) would take that warrior down in seconds.
  15. Long time no see troacctid :). Armoured zombies are fast melee xp & have blue charm & effigy drops (pretty rare but still). Skeletal monkeys are faster melee xp as they have higher hp and are less spread out, but they have no drops. Living rock creatures are fast xp, have loot and green/gold charm drops (and a very low effigy rate) but are probably less xp if you pick up the loot. Slayer will offer many/much more charms, effigies and loot, but less melee xp (and more slayer xp of course). You can of course to tzhaar for slayer if you get a task. I'd save for an onyx, yes.
  16. You can actually get (close to) 3m/hr at frosts even now, though it'll be with visage included. Nex has a chance of dropping 1b+ items but then again also a chance to drop nothing, and you can't kill many per hour.
  17. I would say that, if you are not in a terrible hurry to get 99, you should just do battlestaves for cheap.
  18. Looking at your combat stats they are pretty much in the same range - this means melee will be by far the best primary attack for you. Using the berserker class ring + a two-handed sword would give you the best all-round performance. As for teams sucking, that will keep happening until you either hit 90 dungeoneering (at which point they will not be the best, but better) or 130+ combat and 80 dungeoneering. At that point you can use w148 instead of w117. I'd recommend solo/team with friends until 60+ dg.
  19. Woodcutting mahogany or oak are both bad ideas. Planking logs, even more so. The only way I could see someone DIYing construction would be with an adze at teaks/mahigs and bank special logs & anything the adze doesn't burn (casting plank make on the logs first). That would be fairly good xp in four stats but probably not the most efficient overall. Oak larders, buying the planks and using a butler to take them to you.
  20. No it wasn't. Also by tonight I mean my tonight, so say up to 3 am gmt.
  21. Switched ivy spots did you?
  22. Quyneax replied to VARN's topic in Help and Advice
You have to manually fill it but it's one-click I think, e.g. just fill up and click then fill up again. To empty, right-click. I think you can do this from the bank interface. Edit: it's one-click fill in the bank screen according to RSwiki. You have to use coal on the bag.
  23. Bully gets banned . 28 hp.
  24. Blood neck > legs imo, you're already dropping accuracy on the 2h with both a ranged body and hood, legs would drop accuracy on the bow, as well as having enough defence anyway.
  25. You got more replies than total levels. I just noticed somehow. Anyway gz on 89 or 90 dg or whatever you got tonight :P.
