Range/Summoning Help
No. Ghorrock waterfiends drop 2 charms per kill, so the rate is the same afaik.

finally its time!
GWD and Nex sets have damage boosts, no other set does, so yes they are the best. Fsh is best for all styles as well. Demon horn necklace is good if you want to get the prayer restore - when you bury a bone, you get prayer points back, and your bonecruncher buries bones automatically - profit. It'll save you some banking, but critical boosting neck items (whisper, arcstream, murmur) will give you slightly higher kph.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I think the best setup is to have captains for specific (extra profitable) missions, that is, you want one for each of the following: 1) Whaler plate 2) Standard plate/laquer and barmaid tips 3) Biologist/standard voyage bones (if you use superior scrims) 4) Standard chi That means a seafaring captain with four +1% traits, a morale captain with four +1% traits, a captain for morale/seafaring and one for triples, and then I suppose a combat captain (if that isn't already good for 10k - I use my combat captain for that). The +4% captains are really only for single-stat missions, the other captains have +100 traits.

Even 5 is too risky considering you have to be lucky to not get 1 hitted than after that massive damage. Such a requirement would mean a team has to consist more likely of 7-10 people. Err... no? With 5 people, you have 2k+ health left? Besides you can enter with Resonance, Barricade, Reflect or Immortality effective.

Assorted questions on EoC
Shields are very good in PvP, and theoretically there are some applications for Revenge @ QBD if there's a lot of worms out or at KK when those minions are out. @Tieszen: I think it's 1.8% for the pair.

http://forum.tip.it/topic/316757-the-slayer-model/ For all styles: slayer helmet, demon horn necklace when appropriate. Max crit otherwise. For magic: Virtus top, legs, boots, gloves - Sujugation also works. Virtus wand + book or chaotic staff. For ranged: Pernix or Armadyl, dual ascension crossbow or dual chaotic crossbows, royal crossbow also works. For melee: Torva or Bandos, dual drygores or dual cclaws. For bosses: Same as above, sometimes Ports armour is nice. For PoP: Armour sets, Vampirism, Elements, Cruelty.

Range/Summoning Help
You can cannon waterfiends in Ghorrock, apparently that's worth it.

200M in all Skills
You would simply leech other people's games away. People who have an attitude like yours make the game feel so terrible and uncommunity like. Not really an issue since there's afk-only tie games all over the place anyway. Plus you probably shouldn't bring it up on this thread. I don't think there's any way to gain xp in CW, PvP doesn't provide any xp, non-combat items are forbidden, Charge/Vengeance/Disrupt Shield doesn't work either.

Barrows [EoC]
Sure, just make sure to freeze the melee brothers and rush the others, because you're not going to want to tank anything.

I think it's plausible that it's 50k damage spread across the team, which would require at least 5 people to fight Vorago (4, if the max lp goes up by another 200 lp). It'd be pretty lame though, imo. Just make a straight 3+ player requirement for the teaming system. Equally lame, but fairer about it.

Vorago Teaser - June 24th
That looks interesting, the 50k damage hit seems interesting, I hope it's not artificially difficult like the typical 'ignores protect prayer' crap. The jumping on top manoeuvre looks like it requires some climbing to do, I wonder how it'll perform solo - Vorago probably keeps attacking while you climb.

leg converting
Magic armour provides less magic defence than ranged armour of the same tier, as per the combat triangle. You can make certain robe skirts yourself (batwing, ganodermic, grifolic) but they will penalize ranged attacks. The royal dragonhide legs look a bit like skirts, and you can use Karil's leatherskirt, Armadyl chainskirt or Pernix chaps.

Future Update Discussions
It's possible that a Saga featuring our character, available at level 120 dungeoneering, will get the same kind of "in the past" status as pre-TWW quests, but then the past between TWW and a sequal. So you'd be able to see the rift and maybe even access the plane for a bit, but you wouldn't have to do it to see Zamorak outside Daemonheim. (at least I hope so, it'd be no fun not to see the rift eventually)

Vorago Teaser - June 24th
I don't like enrage timers that simply double damage after 5 minutes or something crude like that. A system that's more like Bal'lak or Guthan/Dharok is better imo. It should be that it is extremely inefficient to take too long, but not impossible. That also allows lower levels to get to know the boss a bit.

Doesn't really look like a new bank system, no new organizational features or anything.

Which combat style for dungeoneering?
It's not a 20% damage boost on the ring, it's a 20% level boost which is like 1% damage tops :P. I have ssb/2h and I can guarantee ranged is pretty bad on plenty of things, even with t10 ring. Also note that dw ranged is really just about the law rune bind, the performance in combat isn't better. I'm not sure how spell damage is used in dungeoneering atm, but dw mage is better than dw ranged if it works (if you get t99 damage, that is). Armour wise, yes, ranged does have the defence advantage, but platebodies have less of a ranged attack penalty than leatherbodies have a melee penalty. You can pray mage to avoid mages.

The pages thing got fixed, now you just get dominion factor and that's it. It's mostly about getting the fastest kills, I think. Climber is good fun, more DF earlier on, endurance is probably really easy since EoC so you can just do that for 120390 floors.

Jagex's chatwatch program automuting private messages/etc
That is not true. Nothing can't eventually lose its meaning. Communication - including language - is different in every group, every combination of people, and it changes all the time. Standards in one group can't be applied in another. People get upset when they can't judge people by their own standards, which leads to the kind of argument above: "it must always be insulting because it is insulting in my world, or I know it was insulting in the world of someone I identify with, at some point". Relativism is difficult, yes, but that's how language and politeness works. If you want to present an argument, base it off the happiness of the people involved (which hopefully is comparable across politeness systems). Will this new automute program make people on the whole happier? I doubt it will have a net positive effect, because there are enough automutes which don't have any positive effect (because they don't prevent insults) and all automutes have a negative effect (that people can't talk anymore).

Which combat style for dungeoneering?
Basic is 2h (maul, spear), blood neck and platebody. Abilities are better for 2h and dw melee and dual wield magic (and dw ranged also beats 2h ranged), but since DW magic requires two binds, you'll probably want to go with maul, blood neck, plate, cstaff/ssb. The advantage of magic and dual wield knives is that you free up the ammo bind for laws.

emissary jobs!!!!!
I suggest you try to be a little more polite, GraceOne. You didn't post a clear question, so there isn't much to do but to repeat the instructions for the task - the instructions you apparently did not read. The tasks are perfectly easy - if you can't get them to work, that's likely your problem.

trading between Jagex games now allowed?
Locked - please don't bump topics after such a long time. The current Tip.It stance on the matter is that trades between 2007 and EoC are trust trades, which are allowed (similar to selling dungeoneering floors), provided that the person advertising the trade is taking the risk associated with the trade.
