Greatest God Spell
this is true, but you can't use a +10% magic damage void mace with flames of zamorak, you need to use a zamorak staff

Whatshould i use my experience lamps on
long to train? it earns like 250k-300k xp/hour i say go for herblore, roughly as expensive as prayer, but much slower to train that or summoning/slayer/runecrafting if money isnt a problem for you

Hunting for Lumberjack
Eh, not sure I agree with this, I prefer to pray snails for two main reasons. First it's easy to restore prayer, whether it be with an ardougne cape or with a house altar secondly a snail helmet takes up precious inventory space, which matters a significant deal when you bring an easy escort to swamp snakes anyways as for my comments. The guide is well written and is formatted well, but it's distinctly lacking in information as felix pointed out i don't think you mentioned the ability to give food to your ally before starting the trek you didn't mention that bringing a weak ally increases the number of enemies to 5 Since you're skipping all the bad tasks anyways, this having 5 enemies is favorable when you actually encounter a nail beast event or a swamp snake event. do a little more research, there are many nuances to temple trekking that are worth looking into

Uses for the staff of light
firstly, pray melee gives a 40% defence secondly, it may be multiplicative not additive thus that would translate to 70% protection, not 90%

Uses for the staff of light
50% rune return isnt OP, since those druid robes take time to charge, time that could be spent collecting runes anyways. 75% rune return would just be ridiculous though magic has always been a more expensive combat skill, a 75% rune return rate would just flip that upside down, mess up rune prices so bad, and risk making runecrafting much less profitable as people would no longer need as many runes to train magic, and would probably resort to combat magic to train magic instead of alching. i can only imagine the economic mayhem that would result

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
I have no fire cape at this moment so by no means would I personally object to a new item to slay ice wyrms with but i'd like to point out that flame gloves are gloves designed to protect your hands from fire, not ice They are not physically on fire or anything like that =D not sure what exactly the ring of fire does but I'd imagine it'd be similar :P

Fight Caves Claw/Dragon Rock
you should probably check the guide in the archive of wisdom but for training, the best thing to do is to turn on a fight caves video, then switch prayers on your RS player in reaction to the video do it at an altar or something like that

Most Prized Possession!
1. What is your most prized possession that you currently own (or owned at some point)? Herblore cape, so useful with new potions out, and plenty rare 2. What is your most favorite item in the game (because it's useful, cool looking, useless, fun, etc.)? Pack Yak, once you have one... you will never train skills the same way ever again 3. If you could have any item in the game (that you currently do not own or have never owned in your RS career), what would it be? probably a scythe or rabbit ears

fly fishing or monks?
I've never tested this extensively but you can use a bunyip to convert fish to water runes the average # of water runes you receive is equal to half the hp the cooked fish heals im not sure if this is an effective method though, but if you can convert them as quickly as you drop fish, it'd be better to do this than drop fish the water runes you get from raw salmon/trout is worth about 3x more than the raw fish itself This doesnt work with barbarian fish though but yeah i wouldnt monkfish unless you have movies to watch or work to do while you're at it the money is just far too horible

Which piece first?
do you have a zamorakian spear yet? arguably 80 herblore(super antifires) > dragonfire shield, and they're roughly the same price tag, albeit u cant resell ur herblore level. GS's really arent too useful for a skiller like myself, so i'd advise against it if you definitely want an item though, i'd go for the bandos chest plate

The Fight Caves
just how quickly do the healers heal Jad? I've made it up to Jad two times (or three, it was a long time ago) I always get Jad down to 50% hp then mis-pray while trying to distract the healers people tell me with proper gear I can just kill jad through the healers would 91 range + extreme potions be enough? Would karils or crystal bow be better for this job?
-
Chinning Nechs
you should probably get a sight focus too since ur slaying, well, at least once they start selling that is but that probably doesnt factor into your problem, it's just a thought though

Ice Strykewyrms
is this with the new gear? or do spells just do even more damage to them?

08-Feb-10 - Musical Update & Strykewyrms
im not surprised that the people who don't own fire capes are complaining that it isnt fair im kinda surprised that the people who do own fire capes arent complaining that +15% ranged @ fight caves makes killing Jad too easy usually the whining works both ways

Highest Profit Yields
black dragonhide > karils at tormented demons only reason karils might be better is for the improved mage defense, but since TD's use all 3 combat forms i wouldnt sacrifice melee def for mage defense WHILE paying more for gear and repairs im not sure void is worth it there either. you have to swap the helms right? too much effort. You're better off with barrow gloves honestly with an appropriate setup, you shouldn't be risking more than 300k-600k on death at tormented demons (value depends mostly on if ur gonna use diamond bolts (e) or not) with that kind of set up, you could quite feasibly afford to die once an hour and lose ALL your gear still come out with over 1 mil gp/hour profit my gear: SGS black dhide top/body dragon boots rune crossbow + broad bolts/diamond bolts(e) (~500 ammo is more than enough) ava's accumulator neitiznot Fury onyx ring(i) + potions/summon scrolls etc ^^ i think if i turn on pro item, the risked value is around 400k for me without pro item the risked value is a few mil if you replace the onyx ring(i) with a dragonstone ring(i), the risked wealth without pro item falls back down to around 400k It's fully possible to get 16+ kills per hour with this set up from my experience
-
Pvp Armour
you can, the armor doesnt degrade inside the bank or inventory, only when worn
-
Highest Profit Yields
TD's are over 2 mil gp/hour the precise data is that the claws drop every 200-300 kills on average dragon platebody parts are a bit rarer (400-500 kills per drop) before the release of overload potions, i could average 16 kills per hour with a unicorn armadyl GWD and saradomin GWD should be comparable to tormented demons. I remember doing calculations, but it's hard to say if they're actually better or worse than TD's but they are very similar in terms of average gp/hour so long as you're good at it.
-
Pvp Armour
corrupt armor starts degrading the moment you equip it non corrupt starts degrading once you enter combat i b elieve they all degrade at least one minute per use so if you're wearing the armor, the fight only lasts 15 seconds, but you'll still lose a minute off the armor the armor doesnt self restore if that's what you're talking about

57 summoning while staying under 100 combat?
summon lvls contribute to combat level differently than prayer actually lets say you're lvl 99 combat you gain an hp level which brings you up to 100 combat but then you raise your summoning level from 7 -> 8, you will get 101 combat IE you it is possible to rise 2 combat levels over the course of 1 non-summoning lvl and 1 summoning lvl 57 summoning = 7.125 combat lvls, which is rounded down to 7 combat lvls IE you can get 63 summoning = 7.875 combat lvls which also rounds down to 7 combat lvls SO ANYWAYS TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION 35 summoning = 4.375 cmobat lvls = 4 combat lvls if you go 35-57 summoning without lvling other stats, you will gain exactly 3 combat lvls. Regardless of how close you are to reaching a combat lvl right now

HELP
you could always just runecraft You would only lose a little money RCing airs initially, but you would start breaking even at ~lvl 55 rc if you're scared of losing money water/earth runes would definitely make profit too, but the xp is probably slower just make sure you buy rune essence not pure essence

Strange power
YOU WIN THE INTERNET! =] That is a huge find... IF this mysterious force really is an earthquake. I've read all posts in this topic and I'm still not sure whether it's a quake or not. The only thing I've seen is a red glow... Considered this possibility, but why did the emote happen to everybody? not just people who finished WGS

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
big reason that onyx's are inflated is that you can't do that anymore furies are at 9.3 mil last i checked, i think that's close to if not at an equilibrium price, but I think the price *might* overshoot the true equilibrium by a little

Something i've discovered...
I think it's just a coincidence. The zamorak symbol was simplistic to begin with, it's not hard to imagine that something like it has been used elsewhere. I always thought the zamorak symbol was an image of demon's horns

Things to do while Alcing
puro puro is worth it if you can catch dragon implings, i'd imagine expected income is somewhere between 250-750k gp/hour collecting nightshades while alching will yield 400k gp/hour you can enchant/superheat items while alching too. Just cast superheat/enchant right after or before you cast alchemy. You'll cast the two spells simultaneously. If hunting while alching is ur thing go ahead but i'd imagine it's a pain agility while alching is probably doable too, i juts wouldnt do it nightshades is my personal favorite alching while farming is just kinda stupid tbh, u can do something else while u alch and still go on farm runs every hour or two thieving stalls wont yield you much
