No one will tell you what they are flipping, since that will cut into their profit/ability to buy or sell. That and honestly it's really not hard to figure out, like at all.

Not at all, since by my definition something becomes a grind when I no longer enjoy doing something, but continue to do it anyway. (I don't grind)

Finally. PVP became absolute crap over the years as Jagex introduced more power without anything on the flip side to combat it, whether it be armor or more hp. I went into PVP once, got dark bow k0'd (didn't even know what a dark was then). Then I saw what PVP was about... running in and out of the safe-spots trying to k0 your opponent. Then I left for good. Higher levels never had to worry about this in the past. If you started off behind you could always recover. Those dds rushers back in the day were just a nuisance. This update will actually interest in PVP again for me...

The generation of junk is where merchants make massive amounts of net. That's why it is used. It effectively allows them to profit through the trade window, which cannot just be done directly with cash due to the trade limits, and 1-5% GE limits.

Well maybe if: - Divines and elysians didn't take 2-3 months to update - Partyhats updated more than 3% per month - And crackers just... updated Then these street prices wouldn't last so long?

I couldn't agree any more. These days 99s aren't a big deal anymore. All you have to do is look up a skill, and see there are thousands that have that 99, with some skills having over 100k! Basically the race to get 99s ended a long time ago... now it's a race to obtain the few remaining partyhats left on the market.

Re-advertising I guess! Link is in the signature. Basically the fastest, and easiest to use browser based GE update notifier you can find. One click of a button and it's up and running. Maybe I'll make a download version one day, but as of now the University has been taking up a lot of time so further development has been put on hold for a while.

If you have one, they are worth every single last gold piece to keep. Because if you sell it, you may never get it back. And also because it's so easy to make cash these days - one should never, ever be sold for the cash. Buying one... tough call. For new players, I'd say they are most definitely not worth the time and effort. It's just too much now. Partyhats seem to be reserved for those that already have the street to buy one, or almost have enough at this time. This isn't something that is completely fair or isn't fair at all... it just is.

Flipping burgers? I said the early/mid 20s, not 16-18 years old. But suit yourself. I'm not trying to flame you in anyway, because we all have our addictions, and it's not always our fault. But I'm just saying, realize the implications and consequences your setting yourself up for if you decide to literally spend the next decade of your life on RS. I wish you the best of luck, but not for achieving 1B agility experience... :mellow:

This just really scares me that you can even think that. 10 years? Do you know what you could do in 10 years? When you start to feel that stress and anxiety building, and start suffering panic attacks out of nowhere in early/mid 20s... it'll because you've played RS for an entire decade and thus have nothing going for you in the real world. And what would make it worse is that you wouldn't have even started on anything... and you'll start to feel like the world just left you behind. These goals that you have are nothing but a delusion, and will absolutely come back and hit you hard in a few years if you don't get something meaningful in real world to start taking up some of that time...

My reason: because I haven't really tried any others. And that's 100% the truth on my part.

I've done about 40min so far, and have gained somewhere between 900-950k farming experience. What I left... Tonight: 5 magic trees (165k exp) Sunday Morning: 5 magic trees, 5 palms, 1 calquat (315k exp) I have to find out when exactly the bonus experience ends, because if doesn't end until say Monday 5PM EST, then I could another run in on Sunday night, and then again Monday morning before moving to construction and crafting. I only plan to get down to the 1.7-1.9x multiplier.

I just did my first tree run. Gained over 400k farming experience in about 15 minutes. I replanted everything so I will not log back in until tomorrow morning. Then I'll do another run, replant, and then one final farming run Sunday morning. I should get about 1M farming experience in total. Then I'll go work on some construction or crafting (and still have a 2.55 multiplier to start with).

I'm just going to do farming... Hopefully I can get 15x magic, 15x palm, 2x calquats, and 1x spirit tree all together at 2x+ experience. A solid 1M farming experience could get me from 94 to 96, or very close to it at least.

Red partyhat has a street value of 3 billion or so right now. But that's a really meaningless number, as are the rest. it just means you are entitled to that much in street value of other items (such as a divines, elysians, etc) without having to deal with the junk trading system. ;)

Hoarding is blown out of proportion with partyhats. Yes they were hoarded at year ago at very low prices, but since then they've slowly dispersed out into the market and we have pretty much reached a critical point of stagnation due to a lack of compressed currency (disks and pumpkins do not compress anymore and are basically junk). If you have one, but not the means to sell or upgrade for its proper value, then you're basically stuck with it. Not that this is a big deal considering making money in this game has become extremely easy. There's not a chance I'd sell mine in the event of a crash. Seeing at just how hard and unobtainable they can become - there is no way in hell I am ever risking have to deal with that ever again.

Free Realms inspired? That game is for like 6 year-olds...
