  2. Quick, someone post the "Get Out" frog. I need it for a serious discussion.
  3. Here's one: I'll bet the percentage of Christians in America who hate Muslims is greater than the percentage of Muslims in America who hate Americans. I'll bet the percentage of American Atheists and the percentage of American Christians who dislike the current American government is greater than the percentage of American Muslims who do. Disagree, sorry. You're completely wrong. Views like this are no better than their conservative counterparts, except for the fact that they're not conservative :twss:
  4. My name is Bentomat and I support this thread. The nicest thing I did today was not point this out. Oops.

I learnt all that stuff for the 3 years I had to take tests about it. When you stop having a teacher constantly reminding you about the different kinds of words, you will know what an useless knowledge it is and you will forget about it in no time. I mean, as long as you know how to create a proper sentence, there's no need in knowing what kind of word is each one of those. Exactly. I never got the damn importance of these things. When you're building a lego house, you don't examine and test the quality of the brick, you just get the two by two yellow block and move the [bleep] on. But if you're building a real house, you better pay attention to the type of block. There's a reason only kids and really cool people play with Legos. Again, building a real house would be writing a dictionary. Which then you would HAVE to know what part of speech it is. Though for general writing, books, articles, I've never come across the importance of the part of speech. Poems and songs, if they're structured like that might have a use, but the majority do not. On the contrary, professional writers should understand parts of speech if they wish their writing to be grammatically correct.
  6. Then again, I doubt they're all Christian ;) Which is why I said nothing about Christianity. Sorry, I didn't see the second page the first time I posted and mistakenly thought this was a discussion about the relation between terrorism and Islam. I'll bet a larger percentage of Christians fall into the group I described than Atheists. This is based on my own generalizations about the likelihood of religious individuals to conform to certain standards, and I have no statistical evidence to back up my claim. But, of course, I'm biased ;)
  7. Either you think that A) Terrorists don't have the brains to think of a place to bomb that would be damaging, or B) They bomb so often they have need for a list of targets. Neither is correct. If terrorists want to attack somewhere, they will, and it will be bad. They managed to pick out the WTC and the Pentagon without help from Wikileaks.
  8. E: FREE HATS@@ If the pattern continues, everyone will get the first hat, most will get the second if you do two every day and one extra, and very, very few will get the third hat. You don't have to spend money for the first two (maybe like a dollar for the second one), but the third one you'd have to buy all the crappy games they want achievements from. Haha, same here. The only reason why I got the Iron Certain was due pure luck. The purest luck there is. Whats your Steam ID. I was on today but didn't receive any messages. The friend thing on Steam doesn't always work for me. I'm Bentomat, and I added you again. By the way, I've figured out Poker Night and it's actually a decent game. The trick is to turn it to hard. That way, they play smart, and play consistent. The easier level is supposed to make them make bad decisions, but it just makes them hard to guess.
  9. I'll bet the percentage of Americans who fall under your loose definitions is greater. After all, many support the wars in the Middle East. Troll harder next time.
  10. This, to be honest. Fair enough. I assume you mean my opinion annoys you, not that you're agreeing with it. To be clear, I'm pro-equality and don't believe all feminists are wrong. However, men and women are different. There are huge biological and statistical differences which, if exposed, would be credited to "sexism", and that annoys me. But would you care to be more specific about what annoys you in my opinion? I was agreeing. :-# I got excited because it would have been an unusual point to argue for. This, to be honest. 12. Poker Night works. Too bad I'm terrible at poker. Nick, I added you. I'm normally on around this time of day.

Mate, if you come to New Zealand, we can go halvies on a 24 pack, my shout  Haha, if I ever have the opportunity to do so, I'll be sure to let you know. I'd love to go to New Zealand. My cousin has going to New Zealand. I may have posted this. There's some farming thing where he gets room and board and takes a semester off college to travel NZ as long as he helps around random farms for 5 hours each day. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, but I wouldn't want to miss the beginning of college.
  16. I won't deny that Assange has a history of paranoia. While working on the documents, most of the team will get little sleep or food, and be constantly worried about the party van. They are rightfully so, however, because they've annoyed many more powerful organizations than just the US, many of which are less than legal. There's a drug for that.

Facebook changes all the time. This seems to be a more noticeable change, but it's still Facebook. I don't care.

You'll be the coolest kid in kindergarten with a watch like that. As for myself, cutivegiftshoppe.com/3726.html"]probably cutivegiftshoppe.com/3599-b.html"]one of cutivegiftshoppe.com/3594.html"]these. I'm actually sort of serious. I don't really need anything and for some reason I sort of want one. Besides that, books. I'm thinking Stephen King's autobiography, one of his novels (probably Dark Tower I), the Hannibal series, and Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut. 19. Ok. I'm not really sure the value of it, but I like Safe n Sound.
  20. The position of a manipulative speechwriter working for him, but his words nevertheless. Source?
  21. Sorry, but not really.
  22. LMFAO Anyways, statutory rape laws are rarely enforced, and I don't see any reason why 19 and 17 are any worse than 18 and 16. The only real concern is that the age difference would result in a large gap in terms of emotional maturity.
  23. I'm strongly anti-feminist. The way I see it, it's not an equality movement, it's a pro-female movement. Plus, the majority of outspoken feminists are madly annoying.
  24. The problem with this is that you put a condition into place that allows this to occur in the beginning and then ignore it later on. The same thing that happens to the product in the beginning will, in fact, happen to the product and rises up to take its place later on. What would really happen is that it would cycle, with one product overtaking the other, a new one appearing and then overtaking the previous leader. Unless the other corporation is capable of preventing anyone else from making a competing product, they will eventually be forced to lower their prices, bring up the quality, or go out of business. Of course that's only applicable to your scenario, real life is too complex for such a simple statement. Fair enough, but they can still control the economy by keeping the prices low. New businesses cannot compete with large corporations.
