I've only got hood & prom2h atm, but when I start DG again (after 99 slay/range/basically max cb), I'll bind either hexhunter or bloodnecklace depending on what I get first... Although it would be hard not to go for a CSB as well.

Would black mask alone have a high enough value to be protected over other important items? It seems like the only item out of FHS you would use so why not take just it since it has higher protect value?

This. I trained 85-90 mage with string ammy + hunter kit and wanted to kill myself. Then I started maging abby demons and ice strykes during slayer with fire surge, and the xp rolls in rather quickly. Plus you're getting hp xp, and the drops usually pay for the runes in the long run. Oh, and if you do, get arc stream, wear full slayer helm, and ferocious ring and mage them in kuradel. I'm only 93 mage atm (use wolpertinger for 100/93), and I hit 550 max with fire surge which is pretty good xp. IIRC each boosted mage level gives you an extra 3% damage boost.

Does accumulator pick up knives/darts?

Teleported to camelot with a knife and axe and began fletching literally the second i saw trees. Then lost city right after that. Spend my entire bank on d long and glory. Went crazy when I hit my first 20.

120 Magic: A ring (similar to the magic door in DG) appears on the floor, in which you are standing in the center. Each of the four directions is lit up by the colors of each elemental spell (white, blue, green, red). They begin to glow brighter as the player begins to elevate off the ground a bit (similar to the Quest cape emote). The player's head is looking down, and hands to the side (palms facing out). Suddenly he/she lifts his/her head and raises their arms dramatically as the surge spells (or whatever the next stage of elemental spells would be), shoot up from the glowing areas. The player is surrounded by a spectrum of all of the colors as the spells being to swirl around him/her. After this, the player falls down to earth landing in a cool pose (similar to Master Chief lands in the Halo 3 commercial). The player then stands up, holds their hands above their head where the spells are flying around, and suddenly the spells fly into his/her hands, being absorbed. Finally, with the emote of casting a normal spell, the player casts all of spells combined at once. This spell would have a unique look of it's own, but to where you could still see all of the other spells within it being "braided" around each other. The only difference is that the spell is so powerful it sends the player skidding backwards across the floor. During this, one leg is in the back for support (if you can picture what I'm getting at), and during the skid back, it tears up the floor. (Just try to think of how people fly/skid back in cartoons and you'll get the idea). After this, the player stands up doing a *wipe the sweat off forehead* emote, and the emote ends.

Make that an ice wyrm. Oh yes forgot about those somehow. Instead of "mounting it like a horse" you could "pick" your way up it like ice picks in snow, and attack it from the top o.O

Slayer: (takes up 3x3 like DG), Mith dragon spawns, you run and mount it like a horse quickly and begin to stab it in the neck while it's flailing around until it dies. After it falls, you get off and pick up the head and hold it above your own.

If you want to make it a pure then make it a pure. Build a good foundation with leveling for quests, then once you have some of the key quests out of the way, start slaying to work on your combat more. Mix it up a bit if you'd like. Really just depends on what you're wanting to do the the char. Do you have a main already? If so then I'd just keep it a pure.

Oh no here comes the 'Slayer Efficeny Thread' again :blink: iirc fury is +8 str. All of fury's other bonuses > +2 str I'm sure Even if it is +6 str, I still think the other bonuses such as prayer and attack outweigh the str.

lol do slayer to 99 defence. piety extremes all that stuff if you don't have enough charms after that then do rock lobs. While you're at it go ahead and level up all your skills to open all your own effigies and finish all quests first. Then seeing as you want 96 summoning right now, go ahead and get that. Makes sense. OT: just do black demons with cannon or waterfiends until lobs are fixed.

Very impressive progress on the Nex solo. Does anyone thing that it is actually solo-able? I mean yeah he didn't have max gear, but he didn't mention making any major mistakes either. Would really changing the gear account for an additional shot at inflicting 17k more damage? btw: what happened to the pages of this thread. Earlier today we hit 400 pages, now it's showing as 3107 pages. Sorry for the lack of unspam.

Don't continue to be pushy with your opinion on others. It annoys them. We're old enough to know what we enjoy, we don't need you to tell us how to spend our time. Doing this will lose you friends later in life. Also, work on your discipline and motivation skills if you plan to get far in life, you're going to need them.

K, well I noticed whenever anyone received a rare drop live 100 noted silver or rune kite or w/e they got mad, and I didn't know if it had to do with them receiving that drop and "losing good drop potential".

To a certain degree, I understand the way drop "wheels" work, but still have a few questions: How is LSP calculated? Can it even be "saved up"? Are the 100 silver ore, 67 natures, and rune javelins, ect. drops taken off the "rare items" wheel that uses up your LSP? Is this why people semi-rage over these useless drops? Rather than receiving the useless drops, what "good drops" are players expecting? The new drops that RoW brought? Is RoW required to receive the new drops, or does it just increase the chances? If LSP can be saved up and "used" up, what kind of drops does it get "wasted" on in boss fights? Anything other than the big name items? Sorry for so many questions, it's just that I've heard the term used often as though people save it up and hate when it gets wasted on a bad drop.

I used chipped polly tabs and ran to the phoenix then cwars telly to bank. Not the fastest method probably, but oh well. I made over 2k pots 2 months ago, and have MAYBE used 20% of them but I doubt it. I do a lot of slayer though too, so for an average player, 5k pots will last forever.
