Just started again after a long break, what can I do for fun?
Try your luck at old school pking? (if so I'd freshen up on the new weps and techniques like Korasi sword and such)

Getting overloads
From past experience, the prices of stuff plummet a day or two before the weekend starts, so you may want to wait until then to buy your stuff to get the most xp for your money.

(i) Rings
great. guess I'll be avoiding that =/

ZMI and Crafting Battlestaves
May be far-fetched for OP, but has anyone tried the tome of frost?

(i) Rings
I've never played a game of mobilizing armies before, but was considering trying it out to upgrade my berserker ring. A few questions: How long does it take to achieve 300 rank? How much extra damage do you think it would add for me? I currently slay with a str bonus of +141 with rapier (don't have fire cape), so would +4 damage make much of a diff? Finally, if I get rank 300, can I have multiple imbued rings from that 1 rank?

About how many Extreme Potions ...
I heard that you can reach 1600-1800 bones/hr on altar if you use a tort.

Elite Void vs Max Strength
Pardon my embarassing ignorance and unintentional hijacking, but what exactly does full void do? I always pictured a set of crappy robes that everyone wears for some reason, but have yet to own my own set because I didn't know they gave good bonuses (for the time it took playing pc anyway, I hate minigames).

mining and banking
Yep. Three rocks outside. Did all my mining there. Imo its faster to bank than drop.

Did You Know...
When fighting abby demons, you can use the free air spell to "steal" a demon from across the room. There's a 90% change that the abby demon will teleport you to itself or the other way round. Pretty fun to jump across the room.

A decade.
I started when I was in 7th grade when I saw a kid in computer class playing this game killing fire giants in the waterfall. The game looked awesome, and I thought he was one of the best players most likely lol. That was back in April of 2005, so I'm approaching 6 years. My original account (which was slightly worse than than my current account in sig), got hacked and stolen from me, so I made it my duty to surpass the theif with my (at the time) pure, which is below. I honestly miss playing the way I used to. I used to spend an entire evening trying to pk when I was f2p hoping for any rune item. I was nowhere near efficient when I played, and simply played for a different kind of fun. Today I become more of an efficiency player everyday, but I still have fun at it. I have fun gaining large amounts of xp and levelling quickly, so I still have fun, just for different reasons. Every once in a while I'll get bored and take a walk down memory lane, and visit Elvarg or something to bring me back to when I was younger and a noob. I started playing when I was 13 years old, and for the life of me, would have NEVER thought I'd still be playing this game when I was almost 19 and in college. I used to be embarassed of playing and hid in the RuneScape closet throughout highschool, but after I graduated, I realized that I don't care and I'm better off just doing what I enjoy.

Training Mining and Hunter
I did mining at the 3 iron ores in the dwarven mine (next to resource dung for banking). With varrock armor 1 it speeds it up a bit (use horn if you have, and sc pick if you already have pts). If you practice you can alch with perfect timing so that your mining isn't slowed down at all. Pretty good multitasking. Do agility at the wilderness course on DXPW or w/ horn+brawlers if you have.

200M in all Skills
I've got about 3.35M xp to go until I get 99 slayer. I only spend my points on skipping tasks, and I try to slay the most efficient way possible when I can. I CAN afford to cannon on every task cannonable, use ppots (piety) nonstop, and stay ext potted over 120 nonstop. I CAN'T use steel titan, I should be at 96 summon after DXPW if a yak makes any difference. I also can't use turmoil, so I'll be sticking to piety while I slay. I use a rapier for all tasks, and use bandos/fury/sw cape/ect. on almost all tasks (Proselyte on dark beasts for instance). I use a slightly tweaked list of Zarfot's, but was wondering if the rest of my slayer xp to 99 would be of any use to you if I logged some data for you. I plan to have 99 slayer in no longer than 3-4 weeks, 3 preferably. I'd be willing to time my tasks, record charms, effigies, xp gains, and any notable drops. If that could be of any use for whoever is trying to gather the slayer data, then just let me know. I have 5 tasks blocked, but would be willing to unblock and cancel from now on and log how many times I'm assigned each task, along with the number to slay. If you don't want me to that's fine (I understand seeing as I don't have turm/titan), but I'm very click-intensive and "tick-efficient" when I slay, so if I could be of any use, just let me know. Thanks.

Behind the Scenes - March
Just about spent my bank on 99 smithing so that I would be able to use the "awesome new update" many expected. Definitely glad I didn't now... Oh well. I'll have to try out the new RoW for sure though. Going to be a hard match to compete with my zerker or ferocious rings. New quests look fairly promising. Has there ever been much use for "elemental armors" or am I just missing something? Wonder if after a "full set" from EW 5,6,7,ect. you get some special sort of ability o.O Hopefully the thieving quest actual requires high thieving. Judging by Jagex's definition of "high" though, you may see a 60-70 thieving req. lol Oh well. Dung update is probably the most interesting for me. Still waiting for ROTM >.<

200M in all Skills
I've read every page of this thread and just the last few pages alone are enough to make me want to finally post. First off, my hats off to all of you top contenders. There's no way I could ever find that dedication to pull off those xp gains that you guys do. I've actually tried to keep up before, and only made it 18 hrs of nonstop game play before I crashed. To play as many hours a day as you guys do is insane and amazes me (in a good way, no flaming here). Gaming the way that you guys do doesn't earn the respect it deserves from a lot of people. In my opinion the effort you guys put into doing this is no different than the effort professional athletes put into perfecting their own practice. The only difference is you have trained yourself to be able to do something else, it's as simple as that. As mentioned before by many posters, just ignore the haters, because you have a huge community of people cheering for all of you at any given time. The size and success of this thread amazes me, and just reading it several times each day is a requirement in my daily life. I find it so interesting to hear what top players and contenders of 200M all skills have to say. I started playing in 2004 back when Zezima was the Big Shot, but tbh, I like the fact that there are so many more contenders now. Instead of hoping to hear Zezima type something (that undoubtedly has nothing to do with his training methods), we finally are able to hear input from several different top players. Thank you for giving so much detail as to what your plans are and how you go about playing rs; it really gives us an opportunity to kind of put ourselves in your shoes (like I said... I tried, and I can't haha). @Paperbag, thank you for the awesome post a few pages back. That has got to be one of the most down-to-earth posts I've read on this thread so far. The fact that you confess your confidence in the idea of getting 200M and possibly rank 1 overall earns the respect from a lot of players. In my opinion, too many people are too worried to discuss something they may want to in fear of being flamed about their playtime/play style by a bunch of hypocritical idiots... on a fan site nonetheless. So once again thank you! @Drumgun, glad to see you visiting this thread as much as I do on a daily basis it seems. The sight of your 200M all lined up in the high scores boggles me, and I can't wait till their prayer, wc, and fletch friends join! The fact that you were the first person to achieve 200M summoning, soul wars, and abby demon camping amazes me. Records were made to be broken, but seeing as Chilly was one of the best contenders and still failed just goes to show that you did a hell of a job on your records and I wish you the best of luck on your goal of reaching respect and fame irl. Look forward to more massive gains! @Skiller (Forgot your most recent name sorry lol), I think a lot of people can learn a little bit from your playing style. The fact that you still remain in the lead on xp but seem so chill about your play style is quite impressive. I respect the fact that you would rather spend time "playing" the game doing what you enjoy or actually want to do rather than grind something you may not want to do at the time. Also, +1 on the idiocracy on behalf of Mod MMG. The shift from a friendly, engaged, veteran community to the current way of implementing updates into RuneScape has really taken a turn for the worst. Attempts to force-feed the wild and free trade just for more money is slowly rotting the game, so it's good that you, along with the other top players, are able to still find enjoyment. Good luck on your future goals! @S U O M I, you are a machine my friend. I have no idea how you manage to pull the discipline to knock some of the hardest 200Ms out of the game already while many other top contenders continue to push that dish to the side. Now that Zarfot has quit, all my bets are on you for the first person to 200Ms. You've got most of the hard part out of the way. Please don't let a lack of funds turn you away from trying to continue towards 200M all skills (and hopefully rank 1 :D). + the fact that you manage to play with your private chat on AND respond (highly doubt you remember me pm'ing you) amazes me too. I'm very excited to see how fast you can pump out xp once you can afford to start your buyables. Good luck on rank 1 and 200M all skills! @Langer, and everyone else sacrificing their playtime (atleast non-afk playtime :P) to contribute to discovering the most efficient way of training skills, a huge thank you to you all too. Thank you Langer for the Top 15 update, it's saved this thread several times, and is very interesting to read. I discovered some of the most efficient ways to play this game from this thread alone, which has got me thinking more about at least 99 in all skills myself. All-in-all, I want to thank all of you who are putting work into making this thread a success, and congratulate the top players who are all racing for 200M all skills. A big thank you to those of you who have posted on this thread, all I gotta say is, please keep trying to recruit more top players here. This discussion value of this thread has picked up dramatically over the last few pages and I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone when I say that I want it to stay this way. I'm glad that I joined TIF. This site has taught me most of what I know about RuneScape, and the community here seems like a great group of people. I look forward to continuing to read and help out on this thread when I can. You may now discuss. Lol jk. :P

Farming question
From my personal experience, if you try to farm herbs in general with a full inventory it doesn't let you, unlike limpwurt roots which do just appear on the ground.

Back after a long break
Dunno if you ever kept track/cared about highscores, but aside from the previous mentioned changes, there are well over a thousand players that have maxed total level, so Zezima is no longer "the legend". It's more of an xp race now, and seeing as xp rates are increasing fairly well over time, you should have an easier time leveling up your skills.

Task Diaries
I haven't really bothered to do any of the task diaries, but I want to get the Ardy cape 3. Do I have to get 1 and 2 also before I can unlock 3? Or can I just do 3's reqs by themselves to get what I want?

What should I do for Bonus Weekend
In that case definately get 88 before the weekend which shouldn't be hard with your bank. Don't wanna waste valuable time making mith plates.

What should I do for Bonus Weekend
I would sell the dragon bones now while they're high and rebuy later for cheaper if you still want them. Seeing as you have enough money for herb I assume, RC or smith wouldn't be a bad idea. If you're going to go with smithing I would wait until a day or two before the update and buy bars for very cheap. Merchers dump everything for cheap right before DXPW. If you want to get 88 smithing through superheating before the weekend, addy platebodies would rake in massive xp.
- Mah monies.

Desert phoenix feather's
Move your house to polly or make polly tabs and wear a duel ring to bank at cwars. take an energy pot if you want but it's not really necessary, then just run to the bird each time, bank, repeat. I did for about 1700 feathers a week ago

Mithril Dragon
There are undoubtedly better ways to kill these outside of my knowledge, but from my experience at your level, I would use black dragonhide and try to get as much of a mage protection setup going on as possible, and wear an antifire shield with antifire pots, and a leaf blade sword. Use a stab option, and take a super set in addition to several ppots. And of course food. Pray melee and attack with melee so that you hopefully defend against most of the mage attacks. Try using prayers that will boost your atk and str to test if that helps you out a little. Hopes this helps.
