Since I started my Slayer goal the other day @ 1 Effigy per 83k Slayer xp atm. :twss:

Sold my whips & bought Ahrims + Sol + Inf Boots. To compare Magic with melee & take into account costs etc for Ice Strykes, bearing in mind I'm already 99 Magic so I don't care a great deal about Magic XP. Well in multicombat zones - Korasi' damage is vastly reduced (due to its chaining nature, even if it doesn't chain to anything) Not sure what it hits, but I don't know if it's high enough on Td's to force a switch

From my observations of my hellhounds tasks, I usually see about 3 Clue Scrolls drop per task (I don't do them), so I'd say hellhounds would be close to 1/50, but you get no other loot I guess.

Yah I tried to out-poopsock him the other day, beat me by 8k xp, wtf. One more task... I knew I shouldn't of taken the dog for a walk. Fuu Dog. I am currently doing 13 tasks & gaining more points than losing from cancelling. I guess if you don't do abyssal demons & do all other tasks the fastest way possible, 45k/hr avg would be quite easy to maintain.

Are you specifically hunting for level 3 Clues, or are you hunting Blue Dragons & the Clue is a bonus.

Got 97 Yesterday & another whip l0l. 320k Slayer xp gained and a couple of effigies. I have identified a couple of tasks that the rapier isn't necessary on, nor overloads. So this should bump profit margins up quite a bit. Currently using a whip on: Hellhounds Dagannoth Bloodveld Aberrant Spectres Suqah Using Overloads on (Extremes for the rest) Black Demons Black Dragons Iron Dragons Steel Dragons Mithril Dragons Abyssal Demons Ice Strykewyrms Mutated Bloodveld (I may use extremes in future as the most important factor in this task is the full world) Turmoil is used on all tasks. Currently recording Cballs used & time taken per 100 kills, to get some more info on cost/profit of individual tasks.

Ty, Cumulative update: Current Slayer Xp Gained: 1,067M In-Game Time Slaying: 33 Hours Average Slayer Xp/Hr: 32k Current Effigies: 15 Average Effigy/Slayer XP: 1/71k Average Effigy/Hour: 2:10 minutes The Slayer xp/hr has dropped since i've had about 5 abyssal tasks yesterday & today. Well ahead of the projected effigy/slayer xp currently. Especially surprising since I am still doing Abyssal Demons (& I've had quite a few tasks of them) Also since I am going via time elapsed on Adventurers Log - This takes into account getting new tasks & banking etc.

The whole point of degrading items, is akin to durability in other games. it's a way for the game to provide a gold sink to remove GP from the economy.

So got to do my poopsock session today. 600k Slayer XP Had some decent luck today as well & got 4 whips. I'm thinking about unblocking gargoyles and putting nech's on block (due to the frequency of assignment) & cancelling future skeletal wyverns, as they were rather slow since I don't have a CLS & they aren't really a profit task (Bones just pay for the cballs) so bit of a waste of time since charms are my last preference. Due to the ease of Gargolyes (They can be AFK'd) these might be a good alternative task to do for points should I need them & if I want a convenient break. Will post a small synopsis of xp gained and average xp/hr & the rest of the fun stuff tomorrow

Update: Poopsocked a bit last night after getting home & didn't log out until like 7am, so last nights gains are recorded for today in runetracker. Expecting quite a large XP gain today. Current Effigies Gained: 8 Slayer XP Gained: 700k In Game Hours elapsed: 19 Average Slayer XP: 37k Average Effigy'Slayer XP: 87.5k Average Effigy/Hour: ~2:20 Quite happy with this so far. I did do a black demons task in CT & my 2 Dark beasts tasks in Kuradel, so this would be well above 40k if I did those at max pace. As for profit I just received 2 whips in 1 task at abbys, so that'll boost the avg gp lost/gained. Due to market crash the 1m/hr is perhaps too optimistic (Didn't realise SOL's were 2.5m!) After doing 1 task of nechryael I decided I would cancel them & do blue dragons instead as a profit booster, as it would be a consistant profit & potentially twice as much now due to rune boots being half their former price. Aside from that it seems I'm maintaining or even gaining Slayer points. So the current task list should be sustainable!

Don't ward off the common's and 250k is with Zamorak Favour potions.

Yes, it saves the secondary So: Vial of Water -> Herb Unfinished pot -> Secondary Super attack -> Additional herb & for the future, this also means it saves the torstol when making overloads - so getting the scroll is extremely worth it

I think he was referring to the lighthouse ones for a quick task. But yeah, take a whip for aberrants, hellhounds, dagannoths as it won't make too much of a difference due to the % dmg the cannon does. At least in regards to the repair cost it'll chew through.
