Bloodneck + hex. Low slayer.
Hmm, this is good news for me. Does anyone know how common they are now, after todays supposed update of making them more common? Do they now appear in solo small/meds?

Bloodneck + hex. Low slayer.
Is that without the slayer level only? Or in all cases?

Bloodneck + hex. Low slayer.
Hi, I've always believed that you needed the slayer level (or someone in your team) to even find a creature that drops slayer items such as hood, blood, hex. Friend of mine tells me you don't. So whats the deal? I'm aware you don't need the slayer level to kill one, so this is playing a huge part in the "should i train slayer" field for me.

Glacors equipment
I have a lot of dung items i want and surgebox doesn't take priority over any of them :P After i get them I'll probably get it for the sake of having it though, assuming I'm not sick of glacors by then. That's what i decided to do, gear wise. Despite having the cash handy, i can't bring myself to buy ragefire boots. +1 mage attack just isn't worth it. By the way i lure the minions behind rocks where the glacor can't see them, the whole process of luring and switching to melee takes about 5 seconds, which is why i deflect melee. This works for me for now but i guess i can try straight up tanking everything while protecting from the glacor to increase kill speed slightly. Sapping before Enduring... Derp... Why didn't i think of that?

Glacors equipment
Got 70m bank. Currently using ganodermic but i don't think i actually need the defense from it, and the repair cost adds up. Curious how effective full akrisae is, including the staff! (Potentially infinite prayer worth -5% damage surely?) or just ahrims with arkisae hood. I could get virtius legs or mask which would help uni healing, but i don't think the small bonus is really worth it at the moment. (And indeed i don't currently need the extra healing) Edit: Heres my exact setup: Also I'm currently fire surging glacors with deflect magic/range and leech magic and defense. I switch to rapier and defender, turmoil and deflect melee, and turn off autocast for the minions. I kill Enduring > Sapping > Unstable. I use EEE spec and unicorn to survive, also soulsplit the glacors when convenient to do so. Anything you'd recommend doing differently here?

Range training for a newb.
Ruby bolting the decaying avatar in the dominion tower is amazing at low levels, with each bolt earning over 1000 range xp, and not being effected by range level or equipment. This of course requires 110cb and beating nomad's requiem quest.

how many of you know
Friend of mine bought over 3b... It was >$2000. He's unemployed. I just find it sad.

Maul or Goliaths for waterfiends
Gloves are way faster. Easily an extra 15% kills/hour.

Shards of Armadyl
Just a quick question to someone who i assume knows, are dusts actually a viable way to make money? I can't imagine actually being able to profit with them, even at 99rc. (I know the GE prices go against this but I'm talking about street prices)

Barbarian or C2 80-90
C2 is faster if you do it right. Rush through, don't kill any enemies even if you're under attack unless it's a GD, don't kill the boss (unless you care about dungeoneering, in which case I'd recommend just killing the boss to finish the floor that prestige, as killing the boss is going to be faster than c1'ing it later.) and do every single fishing spot you see. (Once found, even hiem crabs should be better xp than time at barbarian fishing.) Do not spend time woodcutting/firemaking/fletching/cooking, unless you value these skills and find a convenient way to do it of course. Frozen are apparently the best floors for fishing spots. (I hear that a lot and from personal experience I'd agree with it.) I hear rates over 110k/hour at 90+ fishing.

Shards of Armadyl
Going by current GE prices: Making a staff of armadyl means each shard is worth 156k. Making them into dust is worth 143.5k. Turning them into dust and then runes, with 99 rc, is 152.2k So staff is best, I'm not sure how stable the prices are though.

Best 99 for money making?
If you're going for max/comp cape, yeah, you might as well do mining now. It's slow/hour... but if you're getting 99, it will help more now than when you have B's.
-
Best 99 for money making?
Summoning. Not only are the combat opportunities amazing, making high level pouches into scrolls is a brilliant way to make money, at over 3m/hour with the better ones.

Solo Kalphite queen?
Kalphite queen is still surprisingly difficult to solo! (Much more than general graardor!) but can still be done relatively easy in one inventory. You should use Goliath gloves > Chaotic maul > Rapier > Veracs And switch to SoA > Poly > Crossbow Wear ganodermic and pray range. (If using veracs pray mage) Soulsplit flicking helps a ton, if you have it.

what explains the efficacy of goliath gloves on corp?
I corp solo quite a bit and 30 glove specials until he is no longer difficult to hit? I have done kills where I glove spec him as few as 3 times and even with very low bgs hits I still hit with my spear very often. If you're talking about being difficult to hit with GLOVES then I see what you mean :P Just had to ask. Hah. I mean still significantly more than an unarmoured 1 defense player. Perhaps he does have an equipment bonus, which would be why after several glove specs and huge bgs hits you still miss occasionally (like 5-10%, opposed to >1% on a pure)

Activation rate of Goliath, Swift and Spellcaster gloves?
Well i have goliaths now and I've done a little bit of testing (About 1k hits) and the current spec to hit rate is 5.24%, which is about 1/19 hits are a special (This is at waterfiends using extremes piety and typical max strength gear except body and legs, in case it's actually effected by that stuff) I plan on testing them at corp using both max strength with gano, and then again with very low strength and accuracy and brewed down stats, to determine if the special is effected by accuracy and strength (I'm guessing no for accuracy, possibly for strength)

Domionion Tower Help
You want your highest strength bonus possible and dragon claws. Most bosses will be taken down in 2 claw specs and a few whip hits. Do climber mode as the xp books will be huge and get you several levels towards getting 500 kills.

Range gear
Don't mean to hijack the thread but i got a related question: What equipment should i use for chinning at ape atoll... With hati gloves equipped. I ask because I'm not sure void is worth using without arma body. I of course want to maximize range and prayer bonuses.

chaotic's
Eh, difficult choice really. Rapier is THE best weapon in the game... Buuuut.... Not at GWD :P Maul is best for bandos (The only melee boss worth killing) and sara. Rapier is probably best at K'ril. And of course crossbow is best for Arma. I'd personally recommend getting maul and rapier, as you need the rapier to take out minions faster anyway.

The community is to blame for everything
Anonymous people on the internet are [wagon]/beg for things. Shocking. Ignore them. It seems like you put a lot of effort into this thread, but it ends up reading like the ramblings of a mad man. "Beggars, stop begging. People that give money to beggars, stop giving money to beggars." sums it up quite nicely. You seem to think that everyone you see in runescape is a part of the community and has close friends like you do. Many do not. They don't care a tiny bit what someone has to say about Drgnkila24 (Their account name) because they don't identify with that account as much as you do with yours, so making them feel bad for begging isn't going to work.

Very useful tip for corp duo.
I have no idea exactly how it works, i think it might be relative to your team mates damage, for example if you hit a 400 and your friend hits a 100, he will often focus on you. This seems sketchy at best because he's often not turned towards the player that dealt the biggest hit, so perhaps it's a dice roll relative to damage. (400 * d100 VS 100 * d100) which would explain why it often does but not always. I'd love for someone that knows what they're talking about to tell us whats going on, so we could find the best way to, err, abuse the system! :D And yeah zer0, if you're blowing the cash on brews you're probably better off just going for speed kills, but if you're doing it on the cheap (And what I'd call more efficient, based on a predicted 500k per corp drop potental) with sharks, the tank method is invaluable to A). Guarantee neither of you run out of supplies due to bad luck B). Often manage two kills per inventory Just FYI we managed 26 kills in just over 2 hours, and a lot of that was spent not corping, i don't think this is much slower than the expensive method of guzzling brews.

Very useful tip for corp duo.
The corporal beast targets whichever player is dealing the most damage to it. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but if you hit a 450, corp will turn to you 90% of the time. The main thing that drains your food and kills you at corp is when he just focuses only on you, while the other player sits at full hp. Ok these are all true, but how do they help me? Well. Goliaths hit relatively low damage while still being very useful towards the corp kill, and allow you to wear a tank shield such as divine/eek. The idea is to both spear corp until one player takes too much damage, that player then switches to gloves while the spear guy continues, corp will very quickly focus on the spear guy, swap roles whenever appropriate and you can share the damage equally, which makes soulsplit healing it back 1000 times easier, and makes the whole experience cheaper and often faster. Yep. Just a small thing me and my duo partner have discovered and abused for easy efficient kills, many players know about the damage getting corps attention, but I've never seen anyone deliberately abuse it like this. Very important: Wear STRENGTH gear. Rhino > Fcape > addy cape... Zerker (i) > Zerker > Onyx (i)... Nezzy > Fighter hat This is because corp is interested in whoever hits hard on him, not who hits consistently. This makes it much easier to trigger corps attention ASAP, and save the team a lot of food/deaths. This also works for teams, in fact it works even better as corp will focus as soon as anyone hits a high hit, which is going to happen much faster with 2-4 people spearing him. But honestly, duo corp is probably the most efficient way to go, as you'll still get relatively quick kills and can survive solely on sharks.

what explains the efficacy of goliath gloves on corp?
Sorry i don't know how the defense levels work either, but i can say that goliaths DO wreck corp pretty quickly. 10 glove specs will leave him considerably lower defense, so i can't imagine his defense is >500. Although it does appear to be above 99 as he will definately continue to be difficult to hit until well over 30 glove specs. At least in my short experience there.

C2 Fishing
I've never done C2 fishing before the update, but I've noticed that it's currently easily faster than any other alternative, and have gotten over 100 fish on several floors. So maybe you've just had a streak of bad luck? Edit: Oh. This morning. I did it last night. Will try today and see if I'm experiencing a reduced rate, too.
