  1. Hit 10,000,000 Summoning exp. I will use all the charms I've got from slayer + magic training, then whatever exp I have left till 99 I will probably get through a mix of maybe, I don't know, ranging nechryaels and waterfiends. We'll see what happens.
  2. This is my 10th Level 99. I think right now I have enough charms for 97 Summoning + half of level 98 Summoning. So don't expect that goal to be completed anytime soon. If anything I'm going to get 85 Agility next, then most likely work on another 99.
  3. Good. They need to be more common. There is a difference between being a challenge and just being plain STUPID.
  4. I don't see anything wrong with having a skill with many useful features. It just proves that my ideas are better than a lot of jagex's. Think of hunter. Just as many features as this but mostly a useless skill.
  5. Um, why are most all pictures on this thread and basically all of tip it not working? Is it just me?
  6. Comments in bold... I don't use a cannon on slayer tasks and I am level 99. This is because I like to profit off my tasks instead of lose cash. I've probably made 200M from slayer because of the drops and also the fact that I profit off every task. I don't cannon, I don't use piety, and I bring either a bunyip or a unicorn and maybe 1-2 super sets to keep costs at minimum and profit at max. It may take a little longer to finish a task but it feels much more rewarding knowing you profited AND got the exp rather than got the exp faster with loss of cash.
  7. You must not use runes then :P You don't have to ignore runes to ignore runecrafting. You can buy them in unlimited amounts from the magic stores. Places that, to counter your "well they had to be rc'd for you to use them" argument, just have them and players didn't have to craft them. And I feel like you're being a little "I'm too old for this" when it comes to the penguins and such. Honestly, Runescape is a game which has ALWAYS been based around Jagex's british-typed humor. I don't feel communist penguins are out of the legue of possibilities when it comes to their game material. In fact, it's quite genius. It's also satiric, if you didn't know, so it's not like they just stuck it in to be silly. They are making fun of real world communism and spies and the cold war. There's history behind it, and I'll be quite frank with you. You seem like some 15 year old kid who didn't stay awake in history class who is trying to prove to the world that he is "too mature" for such childish things. Well. You're playing an online rpg. There's bound to be some silly content. And to be honest, if you were in power, I'd be worried, because you'd be taking out the ONLY things in this game that make it fun or more than just a grindfest.
  8. Well I play still because I've set goals for myself. That's really it. I'm actually really upset with how jagex is updating the game. Really small, lame updates aren't cutting it for me. And now I am about 170k from 99 Magic. :)
  9. Oh yes, thats so true... I think i should be brinign my holy wrench with me. Thanks for explaining to me. And aslo, thanks to the author of the thread to enlighten me of that you get free 30 low alchemy per day from the ring >.<. My item of choice is the holy Wrench. ~Bomb~ Actually, if you're over level 50 prayer the wrench boosts the prayer restore by +2, not +1. So for every prayer potion you're saving +8 prayer points. If one potion sip at level 99 without the wrench restores me 31 points, then it will mean every 4 potions I drink I will save 1 potion dose. So for every 16 prayer potions, you will save 1 potions, or (at the moment) roughly around 10,000 gp. If you're like me, and go through 100+ pots in a week, then you'll probably save like 40-50k a week in prayer potions.
  10. It's quite easy really, all you have to do is not enjoy them. I think they're slow, annoying to kill effectively and a waste of resources. If I want crimsons so badly, abby demons aren't too bad for crimsons, plus those whips aint bad either. : If you can't kill them efficiently, you're either not strong enough or you don't know what the heck you're doing. I bring a unicorn and I never even have to turn on my prayer OR bring super pots. You're allowed to dislike them, but please don't say they are unefficient to kill. They are very efficient and the best charms in the game next to rock lobsters.
  11. Yes and Yes : Don't even TRY to go as Zorro if you don't have the correct hat! His hat is EVERYTHING! No way man! The cape is everything. THE CAPE! The Z insignia with his sword is everything. THE SWORD! *wants to play along* The socks are everything! The SOCKS!
  12. The earth will continue to turn but without the sun, all life on the planet will DIE. lol.
  13. Mod knox just looks like a passive person. Won't look at the damn camera ever. And seems to have trouble explaining what he does for a living. Hmmm...could explain the awful updates we're getting. lol. (I'm only joking....sort of)
  14. Luring isn't quite dead mate. It's entirely viable in PvP worlds, outside of pvp hotspots or popular area. It's good money to, considering the loot you get. All you need is TB+Binds, and you're good. You're in a PVP world. If you are logged in you can be pk'd the second you walk out of the bank. Furthermore, if it's on a bounty world, just keep the ditch then. If you can make it so only edgeville is in the pvp world then you can do anything. There's no excuse. Luring is dead, and so should the ditch be.
  15. No. He's talking about when one of the old Tip It Admins quit and as a last stab at the website deleted a lot of the forum data. It wasn't missing is was deleted by someone who abused their administator powers.
  16. Lured by what? A revenant? FYI revenants can't pass the wilderness. And no one lures anymore because you wouldn't even be able to pick up loot if someone died anyway. Failure.
  17. Well to be honest everyone is having the same reaction they had when Mod MMG became the CEO. "Oh my goodness! He's so awesome! How exciting! Runescape is going to be so much better!" Then the lousy updates come along and Runescape starts down the path of one big failure update after the other (with the occasional decent update) and people are badmouthing and hating Jagex. Now you read an interview, which probably happened a while back due to some of the inaccuracies, and you're all excited again. I'll be excited when I see all of the talk in this interview to not be so much talk but actual action. Thanks, MMG.
  18. Personally I don't know if you'll do it if you already got bored on day 2.
  19. The flaw in your logic: What happens when I am 99 and don't want to train it anymore? If there is a monster only killable on task than those of us who have 99 will be forced to spend time attempting to get a damn task just to be able to fight them, and then it would only be a specific amount and if you didn't get the specific rare drop during that time you have to start all over. To me that's a kick in the face for getting 99 in a skill. If I have 99 I want to do everything the skill has to offer without having to jump through hoops of fire to do them.
  20. Abyssals actually have pretty decent secondary drops. Like 100-200k an hour? If whips for some reason fell to a ridiculously low price, like 100k, demons' profitability would be utterly killed. Whips will never drop to 100k. Keep dreaming. Abyssals have some of the best secondary drops of all the slayer monsters. That's why I like the tasks. I can still profit 300-400k a task even without getting a whip.
  21. I'm glad someone did it, because I was going to. lol.
  22. First of all, I am not asking specifically for 95+. Anything above Abyssal Demons would suffice. I'm not asking for much - just trying to compromise. :) So then it makes no sense to make the Summoning Skill cape until a large amount of people reach 99? What about construction? Jagex should always have something for players to look forward to. That is the most rational "business" solution. Even though there are already monsters 1-90, and nothing that is 91-99... it is more rational to distribute them evenly? Ehh, my goal was 99, but I quit RS. In the grand scheme of things, 4/13 isn't that much. Yes, they should get new meat if there is enough to go around, but the others haven't even got their first servings yet. I think your focusing to much on the levels. The only incentive a high level monster gives is the incentive to kill something exclusive. Players who really enjoy the slayer skill do not need an incentive to train slayer, as they already enjoy the skill. Because they enjoy it, they dont need anything (1-99) to keep them going. That being said, someone who trains slayer not for levels, but for enjoyment, would be happy for any level slayer creature, as it gives them some variety on their road to 99. I'm not saying there should not be a high level slayer monster. I'm saying you should be respectful for Jagex's choice in their order to bring out slayer monsters. They have said before there is alot going on behind the scenes we cant see, so their reasoning for some things is not always clear. But in the mean time, I encourage you to enjoy this slayer creature as it is something you can kill and enjoy. Its not about the level, its about finally getting something new to kill hundreds of times on your way to 99. And for the 4,100+ of us who have 99, we aren't on our way to 99 and want something that is going to breathe some profit into the 500+ hours we spent getting there.
  23. Thank you, and congrats on your recent 99 Slayer as well. ;)
  24. I don't like to make a huge deal out of my achievements. =-p But I am glad for the extra point for no party. ;)
