Hmm command line and Notepad++ is what I'm used too. I might try one of the IDE's sometime though, they sound like they would certainly make things easier. :D Thanks for the replies guys. :)

A four-year Bachelor of Science degree is what I'm going for. I took a few of my second year classes during the summer, to lighten the load for the next semester. :P I'm excited to start the other courses though, they look much more interesting! I bookmarked the page with the JDK's on it, I'll download one sooner or later. :D

Sometime next week I'll be starting my 2nd year university class, where we finally learn Java. :D They never gave us a good program to write or run C++ with in my class last year, so I'm not expecting much guidance for that this year either. What are some good programs to write/run Java with? I have Notepad++, and a Cygwin (sp?) compiler for C++. I don't know if it will compile Java as well. Any suggestions? :D

Yeah... that would be a really good idea to be honest. I was lucky enough to have lots of unused herbs stocked up, so I'm gonna use them, but I would be ALL FOR an exp weekend that only let you train skills like mining, wc and agility. ^^

OMG YAAYY I'll actuallly be able to participate in this one!! Ummm anyone know if the sc hammers stack? I've got 91 con banked once I get the hammers. If not, I'll probably do summoning and herblore... got lots of charms and herbs stocked up as it is.

What about edgeville and glory? I think falador teleport is even closer to a bank... Duel ring is the absolute closest.

If it were me I'd use the herbs now instead of buying them later. But I'm of the opinion that exp > money. If you eventually want 80 or whatever herblore, you have two options. Spend the money now, or spend it later.

Okay, I'll look more into the spells whenever I decide to try this out for the first time. ^^

Okay so FSH, SOL, Ahrims, and one of those spells? No need for chaos gauntlets I suppose then. Think I'll give it a try next time. :)

For my next Iron or Steel Dragon task I'm considering maging them. I have about 20m I'm willing to spend. So far this is what I have in mind. I'd buy a Hexcrest (to be made into a Full Slayer Helm) and Staff of Light, and get chaos gaunts and use Fire Bolt. Does this sound like an alright plan? What kind of robes should I wear? If there's something comparable to Ahrim's that doesn't degrade, that would be good. Any other suggestions?

They aren't hard. Wear an antfire shield (of course) use antifire pots, and pray melee. Use a stab weapon (Leaf Bladed Sword) over a whip. That's about all there is to it.

Should i pray melee + piety since ill be within melee range? EDIT: Im selling my bgs because im just way to innacurate with it, nearly ever spec (even fully potted with piety) is missing and i've died to many times now im going broke on this one stupid quest boss...damn you gagex for making a boss this hard what a stupid move on their part Are you kidding me? I think Nomad was one of the best bosses in the game!! It took me almost 15 tries I think, but it was so great when I finally beat him! We DO NOT need any more easy bosses, whats the point in that?? If you think this was a stupid move by Jagex... I don't know. Go play a different game. ><

I think this update looks good! It'll be really cool to know what your shields doing, and nice to know whose hitting what. :) Hope this comes out soon!

The best place to go is Kuradals dungeon, but I don't believe you can, so your only other option is Brimhaven. If you're ranging them, stay back a distance so the only attack they'll use is firebreath. If you have an antifire shield and antifire pots, they won't hurt you at all. Bring a BOB if you can for longer trips. I'm not sure how well you're stats will do. Bring an emergency one-click tele just in case. ;)

I quite like these quests. :D I haven't finished the second one yet, but the puzzles are cool. Can't wait for the third one!

I believe I read somewhere that anything that drops level 4 clues also drops level 3 clues? Could have just been a rumour, but I think it's valid.

Not much help, but I'm guessing that Strykewyrms are in the "kill-limited" group. I've been getting Abyssal Demons just about every other slayer task since the update, and for the first time since I've been playing the game I'm actually disappointed when I see that I got them. Hahha, guess i was right. Theory confirmed :D Oo that's great to know! I've been more studious than ever in killing Bork and Skeletal Horror. I haven't gotten an Elite clue yet (or very many lvl 3's even...) but Kuradals been assigning me things that don't drop elites. :P I'm just sticking to slayer and Bork and Skeletal Horror to get clues. :D

It seems most of the world has forgotten, but you can still use Tureal to cancel tasks! If you're that worried about it. :P

Any barrows legs are a better alternative if you don't have much money really. They all have very decent defence, most noticeably, Torags. But the prayer bonus from Veracs is always good. I've used a dragon plateskirt since... forever. If your a guy with a guy character, they're about a quarter of the price of legs. :D

I beleive this only works with the the three main god books Not towerds the new ones Yea but I can still buy arma and bandos without filling the first 3 :unsure: Yeah that's what I meant. I've had Sara and Zammy books for ages but never even bought the Guthix one. I was still able to buy the three new ones.

You do not have to fill out the books.. I've never had the Guthix book and I could buy the other three just fine.
