1. "Yeast extract". I can't say that sounds very appetizing, even though I've eaten much "weirder" things..
2. What do you mean blank screen? I assumed the monitor wasn't working -- but since you said "all the other websites work ok", I guess you mean a website won't work? Please clarify. Are you getting a white runescape screen that won't load?
3. I killed some of the spam on this thread. If anyone would like to read up on the amendment granting the DC electoral votes: http://www.law.cornell.edu/constitution ... xxiii.html I think they should merge DC into Maryland. It should not be its own congressional district and there's no reason for it to be so. They have 3 electoral votes, which is approximately 1 vote for every 267k people living in DC (which is great for their population). I push to merge the two together.

It seems that they have run out of bandwidth, lol.
5. That was boring... I was waiting for ed the 3rd lol but all that showed up was ed the 1st =( Then maybe it's just me and my political mind, wishing for more shows that satires the current American culture. You know, like how they did the burger episode.
6. Kewl_Sabre said exactly what I wanted to say, but I had to go when I wrote up my second post. :x
7. I understood after reading through it three times. To contact Customer Support: 1) Go to runescape.com 2) Under knowledge base, click "Customer Support" 3) Log in and send them your query. Please use full sentences next time and not one long run on. It makes it easier for people to read your posts!
8. I think it's sort of the opposite? Unless more regulations/laws != more power? And thanks Necro for a better definition. Er, I was thinking more economically. Liberals tend to increase the power of the government (to regulate businesses and keep them under control with laws and such). Conservatives tend to keep the government out of business since they usually favor laissez-faire (free market) economics. But yes, liberalism is based on natural human goodness and the idea that a government is in place at the consent of the governed (which is why many of them fight for civil rights and such). Conservatism usually stems from a distrust for the common man (federalist papers!) and tends to keep the status quo. It's all complicated. That's why I don't like labeling people/parties as "liberal" or "conservative". The label doesn't catch everything that party is fighting for :P
9. It is one part of the skull sceptre. The other parts are located on the other floors -- read the other threads about the skull sceptre for more info :)
10. Erm. A few years ago. I honestly don't see how anyone could actually die anymore with the current combat system.
11. I have a Giants cap and a beanie (for those cold Davis winters). I'm not a big hat person.
12. I love the Boondocks. I just wish they'd make more episodes. My favorite ones are the political episodes, especially the lemonade stand takeover one! lol.
13. Generally, liberals tend to increase the power of government. Conservatives tend to decrease the power of government. I believe that is the basis of the two terms, but if you add in values and beliefs, then it gets a lot more complicated :x
14. A double engineering major? I don't think so. :x Even if some of the classes overlap between the two majors, you'll be in college for quite a long time. Engineering majors at UCD are 180+ units (most other degrees are 70-150, with 180 units needed to graduate). I personally don't see how you're going to do two engineering majors. You'll probably have to become a super senior. You can definitely try minoring in CS. It would be a lot more reasonable than having two majors in engineering!

What the. Ther's a third guy? o.o
16. Unless you do a Zero Fill format (which rewrites all the data on the HD as 0s), there is a possibility that you can recover files with special software. (I believe that's what it's called?) As people have already stated, when a file is "deleted" from your computer, it is simply broken up into fragments and spread over the hard drive space, waiting to be rewritten.
17. 1) Paste it into Paint, not into word. 2) Upload the image to http://imageshack.us (or any other photo site) 3) Use the code:
18. I believe you could try an ethernet bridge. I'm not exactly sure how they work, so if someone could elaborate (or explain why this would not work), it'd be appreciated :)
19. Depends who it is. If it's a new friend, I usually politely tell them no, unless they give me some materials. If I've known them for a while, then the armor is free :D But if they're you're friend, they should be able to understand that you don't have the resources to be giving them free armor. :x
20. Wow. In California, we have drivers ed (which is taken in high school) and drivers training (which is taken on your own time, if you're planning to get your license before you're 18. Sounds like they bunched up both into one class. :x But it is optional here in CA. Well, optional if you don't want to get your license until you're 18+. This doesn't make any sense to me. Why are you supposed to be driving for 6 months prior to taking this class? Shouldn't this class come first? I personally believe that practice with an adult is the best way to learn. The class is important (driving with your parents' rules is not always the best way to learn lol), but not worth that much money.

22. Have fun in China! I'll have to "go see my roots" in a few years or so. I've been wanting to for a while now! :x
23. Use this. Sorry for stretching out the page.
24. http://www.htmlgoodies.com That's where I started with my HTML lessons. I believe I was in 9th grade. I looked through that website, went through their tutorials, and asked for help when I needed it. Just learn, go slowly, and practice! Ask your dad if he has the CD for frontpage. It is an easy program to work with if you have no previous HTML or website experience :)
25. 1) Probably not. Since the processor is slow and there is 8mb of video memory, RS would lag quite a bit on that laptop. 2) I believe you can upgrade the processor on laptops, but I'm not exactly sure. Most of the time, you do with what you have. Most people don't upgrade their processors on their laptops.
