  1. Well, back in the day when I actually burned things alot (91 cook ftw ) I had an arrangement that looked like this: (not pic because I don't think things like that are all that important). (x for burnt o for cooked, of course) xooo oxoo ooxo xoox oxoo ooxo ooox
  2. No you didn't. I personally wouldn't have given anything back no matter what the impression they gave me. I value my friends over pixils but when it comes to strangers I could care less. (that dosen't mean I go around scamming or asking to 'try on' peoples rares, though). You're an angel compared to me, I suppose :) Don't flame. The richer you are the more generous you can be, but if you're simi-poor like me every penny counts :notalk:
  3. Remember how the party room used to be the seers mansion? Pete was the owner of said mansion. Well he eventually got smart and started installing trapdoors in his mansion, and when the next drop party came along some items would fall down into a treasury. It was such good money that he made millions and bought phats and had the place renovated so that he could attract more parties and steal more items. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a blue one on next time I stopped by, and mabye even the barmaids too
  4. Monkfish for just about everything. Training, slayer, quests... ect. I don't PK though so I don't need sharks. And if I run out of monkfish I spend a day training fish at the piscatorious fishing colony and then get some cooking xp at rogues den. Then I have about 5k more :o (which i go through pretty slowly).
  5. The Strange Old Man was probally Zamorak at some point if he was indeed the figure the barrows brothers kept seeing; but after Guthix banished the Gods from taking physical form, the man was left as an empty shell, with some residual memories, and some of the powers (like immortality.. how else would he survive so long?), of the God he used to be - which explains the guy's clear insanity :-k ... and mabye the Myserious Old Man is the body left over from Saradomin? Less evidence than the Strange Old Man to that, but definatly a possiblity. As for Wise Old Man... it's clear what he is. An elderly gentlemen who in his younger days was an adventurer like myself and many of us (except he's an NPC  ), who also like me is fed up with the quite shoddy rewards for saving countless lives. :P
  6. Wow... I wonder why monkfish heal 16 when they are so small. I've seen a real marlin (AKA swordfish, which heal 14 :-k ) and they get like 10-15x bigger than that.
  7. Yes, I see the similarity. I thought the mask looked alot like the mask that the skulls gang in CoH/CoV wear. But they didn't get it from either that or the Harry Potter character you mentioned. They just sat down, said 'hey lets make a skeleton outfit for halloween', and made it, and it's just a coincidence that the skull mask ended up looking like that. If it is a reference to anything, it is a very, very subtle one, not even worth mentioning IMO, unlike that "Col Jake O'Niall one (I'm sorry, but that one was blatant  ... as was the Ghostbusters one  )
  8. Construction is a big enough of a money sink. Why would we need another one? It will be an item producting skill, most likely, like it is IRL. IRL construction costs alot, but hunting costs only what you pay for equipment, and in some countries the permits. In ancient times and in some parts of the world today, tribes hunted animals for their meat and hides. That will probally be the case here. Heck, mabye at a certain level you can gut dragons and eat their meat for like a 24 heal? Probally won't happen, but you get where I'm going with this, right?
  9. Umm.. no. The skill is 'hunting', not 'taming'. It will most likely be another producing skill like fishing, only a bit more interesting. Like laying traps everywhere and then checking them later, instead of catching it at one spot.
  10. A new skill already? Great, now when I get 1600 total it won't exactly be anything special :? . But hopefully I'll get it before then, 6 lvls on the total to go (1594 ttl). Hoping this skill will be useful. Perhaps the hydes and furs we get from the skill can be used in fletching and crafting? Perhaps Jagex will finally make the existing furs (bear and wolf) useful?!
  11. When I did do barrows, I usually used 1-2 doses, sometimes 3 in rare circumstances (when karil or dharok are being naughty towards me in the tunnel).
  12. This seems to me to be nothing more than speculation. You may think that the mechanics of somthing concealed behind a black veil of mystery are incredibly complex, and the slightest bit of unlikely fate will cause you to think even moreso, but things are often simpler than you may think. I could have sworn at one point that cooking = tons of maze randoms, because I got like 12 in a day once, but in the past 30k lobs cooked, not a single one.
  13. Yes, I'm sure they would allow you to use two different computers to play runescape. How they catch people account sharing is like someone saying ingame 'this is so and so on my brothers account' and being reported for it... they don't go by IP.
  14. No, Yes, No, Yes. Although on number 4 people that offer way too much are usually trying to scam me with the old 'switcharoo' trick. Sometimes people like me, other times they hate me. I am never considerate of someone at a training spot. Once I get done killing a monster I attack any other monster I can find. Though I am friendly sometimes, and in that case they like me :)
  15. Many people know about that. The 10k thing is for people without the magic level.
  16. Teleport tablets are made with a lectern in a Player owned House. The Eagle Mahogany lectern can make all the teleport spell tablets, even a tele to house one. You make them by taking soft clay and the runes for the spell to the lectern, reading it, then clicking on the spell you want to bind. Tablets are stackable, once click teleports that can be used even by people without the magic level to cast that teleport spell. Of course you need the level to make the tablet. House teletabs are very useful for Barrows, as you can teleport to your house, recharge at your player built altar, and use yor portal room to get back to canafis.
  17. PC with affliction is good training for any class. I highly reccomend it. If that dosen't sound good to you, though, dust devils are really good range training if you know where the safespot is, and if you have the slayer level. They are much better training than fire giants. Another good place is the caged greaters in ogre enclave, if you don't mind loosing all the arrows you fire, and brining telegrab runes for the occasional good drops.
  18. 1. Always have an anti-scam when buying unids. Have unid herbs of all non junk herbs in your inv, along with more than enough cash to buy your unids, then the rest of the inv fill with random junk. If they try to sell you guams, tarromins, or marentills (or anything else you don't want that you didn't include in your inventory) the trade will auto-decline. 2. Chaos druids in the agility dungeun are really good. However you need 54 agility I believe to access those druids. At the same time as gathering your herbs, grow some via farming. If you don't have a decent farming level, then get it. Farming is worth having whilst training herblore, definatly.
  19. Some people just get into a 'friendship' so they can take someone's items. I wonder if they even feel bad after hurting someone like that. Or if they even have any hesitation to do somthing like that after enjoying someone's company long enough to earn their trust. It's pathetic that people value that over friendship. Not even a blue partyhat, or even a set of them could tempt me to do that. Never.
  20. Verac. The rest never get a chance to hit on me usually, but verac is sitting there hitting 15s through melee protect. BTW, I never had verac hit me through prayer before a certain point, so him hitting thorugh prayer must be relativly new. Yes I knew the set effect from the armor always did that, but the actual Verac NPC never did. Dharok is also very annoying in the tunnel. Ive walked through a door and spawned him and he immediatly hits a 30 on me before I get a chance to walk back thorugh the door to get ready (put on mage gear, staff + autocast, 2 doses of pray pot...).
  21. Boring? More like stressful. I am fed up with constant attempts on my life whilst RCing. Yesterday I did about 1.3M cooking xp without getting bored. I'm thinking about doing it the old fashioned way (using dueling rings ect.), I liked it a lot more then. Seriously :
  22. It makes no reference to Stargate IMO. Let me explain. The stargate is a circular object that you walk through like a gate (PoH portals and focuses are more similar to Stargates). The dialing sequencer looks nothing like the DHD. And it isn't similar to the 'rings' in SG1, either, because that uses a matter stream that can only transport you vertically up or down.
  23. Go to the bank. Put your items in. At the bottom right hand corner of the bank screen, chose 'withdraw as notes'. Then withdraw your items again. Unlike RSC, one note = 1 item, not 5, and you can do it with ANY item that is tradable. Cert guys are in RSC. They are in RS2 also, buy they don't cert items, they run around as a random event annoying people
  24. I already have 227 QP, so I'm awaiting that one. While I wait, though I'll be nolifing to 99 Cooking \ (No srsly... currently 85 cooking, just two days ago I was 75 :XD:)
  25. Heh. I was in a similar situation as you were. I tried the brimhaven areana, but I went to barbarian course and found it MUCH faster, because I failed much less often. Heck I trained all the way up to 50 agility there and then went to wildy.
