  1. LMAO I was laughing at the fact that your pics were so hideously uncropped, not your goals. And you went and made another topic that had that warning I jokingly suggested? Jeez all you had to do was crop the pics and edit your first topic... And my goals are not stone wall... lol... I promise you I WILL comeplete them, every last one. And what's this 'you usually don't anyway...'? Like hell I don't, I have just in the past forgotten about my blogs (kinda hard now since it's linked in my sig eh?) and have given up on farming and herb a few times. But every other goal I have set I have accomplished. Example: 85 Fletching, 99 Cooking, 63 smithing, all quests done, (in this blog:) 74/75 RC (62k nats crafted so far), 70/70 prayer + 1700 total, and more to come after I'm done crafting nats. If anyone else cares to post on this, please don't feed me any negative crap. I posted this blog for some encouragement, not so people could tell me that I woudln't reach my (realistic!) goals.
  2. Ehh... let's see if I can remember. Got P2P. Spent time theiving men, and fletching arrow shafts. Got my theiving up to about 30 theiving cakes, then to 40 with furs. I made money this way by selling the furs to the guy in Varrock (mind you... this was RSC...), and I finally bought myself a set of full mith. Quickly found out that fishing was a much better moneymaker, so I did that, and got myself a set of addy. Got scammed out of that... lol. Hey I was new. Then made some more money and bought it back, then trained to 40 attack, and then grinded fishing swordies, and got my first rune long. I was so proud lol. Then a week after that I think I had full rune. Then I quested some, and eventually, I got to combat 49, and I decided to do the dragon slayer quest. I did it, then sold my rune chain and some other things and I bought a rune platebody. Ditto as above, I was really proud. Then I decided to train mining, and a little after I decided to mine 1k coal. From that I bought a dragon longsword (which I couldn't yet weild) and a glory ammy. Shortly after I did some more questing, and then I did Underground pass with bare minimum agility level... ouch. Shortly after... I got hacked, lost everything (this was around the time RS2 Beta was out). OMG. I quit RS for like 6 months... after that all I remember was fishing and getting full rune back (at this point it was RS2), training at hill giants for a long time and getting to about 75 combat, and then buying back my d long, and then weilding it, and having fun with it. Everything after that is mostly a blur... funny how I can remember everything from when I first joined but I can't remembr much of anything between then and now. Guess those were just the good ol' days for me... ever since then the community went on a decline; members used to be so much better, but now it's like the F2P of RSC (except for all the extra features, of course). And the F2P of today is... hell. I can't stand it, and I don't know how the pure F2P players cope with it.
  3. That thread is about the nicest thing you have done... this thread is about the nicest thing someone has done for you. Two compeltely different topics. If you find one about this specific topic I'll be happy to post there, just as long as it isn't 6+ months old... Yeah anyways, nicest thing I think someone has done for me was go out of their way to smith full steel for me when I was a noob. That's one of the few things I remember about years ago when I first joined members... I don't think anyone has done anything nice for me since then, but that's OK I guess, it's better if you earn your items.
  4. Hiya, I'm Peronix. Been playing RuneScape for four years (account was created five years ago but I can't count the first year since I didn't play much... at all). Been with tip.it community for two, although I've used the guides since the beginning, and it has been a really nice experience. I don't really like combat, well I don't mind it obviously isnce I'm lvl 106, but I hate PKing/Staking. Favorite skill is Construction (my dream IRL is to be an architect, have already taken steps toward that field; I'm in Precalculus this year), I WILL get it to 99 eventually but unfortunatly it is a serious money eater, I'd say since PC it is even moreso expensive than prayer. Second favorite is RuneCrafting; It is kind of fun, and makes me all my money. Good thing my two favorite skills support each other :) Third favorite is cooking... already 99 in that obviously. So yeah, I like skilling. 1700 total and still going strong. Anyway... if you'd like to train somthing with me , just PM me. There are some non-combat skills I don't like, but they're much more bearable when I have someone to talk to.
  5. Banned because you've been banned so many times and evaded the bans.
  6. So... what that kid is basically saying is that if his mother and his favorite dog died, and he was on the verge of death... a blue partyhat would make it all better :-s ROFL wow, some kids are really pixelistic. Hypothetically speaking, if I were in a similar situation, the last thing I would be thinking about is RuneScape. That's why I don't trust any of my RS friends with my items, they could be one of THOSE is disguise. As for my own experiences... well back before I got 99 cooking I wore my quest point cape constantly, and I got more than a few people saying 'niiiice 99 prayer!!!'
  7. Heh those chairs were there before PoHs... a lot of players said that that was Jagex's way of taunting them that they couldn't sit down :P One useless fact is that it is possible to find a needle when you search a haystack.
  8. Banned for not calling Kenny by his proper name :notalk:
  9. Specifically, carved oak tables. Some would recommend buidling and removing oak larders in your kitchen. I'm no sure if that's really any faster, although it might be. I trained construction flatpacking carved oak tables on my workbench. Oak Larders and Oak Doors are the fastest. The more planks you use up at once, the better. The absolute fastest way to raise construction would be to use mahogany. But unless you're insanely rich, just use oak. It would be fastest to buy all your own oak planks, but I'm not sure on your 'gp situation.' If you manage to get to level 74 (pretty sure that's the right level), then start making Oak Doors in the dungeon. Buying the oak planks costs more. Oak logs = 40 gp ea, oak planks = 500 gp each. Of course you need 250 gp per oak log to plane, so add that in and it's 290 gp ea, and add in the extra butler fees = 104 gp = 394 gp per log spent. That's still lower than 500 gp per log, not to mention you still need to pay the butler to get the planks out of the bank. IMO construction is already fast enough, no need to spend millions extra to make it faster.
  10. It's great for ranged training because of the bonus, but for things that require a lot of running like agility and RCing, I'd much rather wear somthing that weighs -5kg than somthing that weighs 5kg and gets a tiny bit of money here and there.
  11. No it's not against the rules... your 'friend' is obviously an idiot and dosen't know what multiple logging in and macroing means. Macroing: Using a program to play that game for you. Multiple logging in: Playing two different runescape characters at the same time.
  12. No uses for F2P, but it is used in the Legends quest and Darkness of Hallowvale quest - there's probally a couple more but that's all I can remember for now. If you find charcoal on F2P, just drop it, it isn't worth anything.
  13. Either lesser demons in the Karamja volcano, or mossies on Crandor. Sorry but that's all I can think of. There really aren't many good spots on F2P.
  14. Oh, those are the robies of elidinis from the Spirits of the Elid quest. No, they're not tradbable, but can easily obtained by doing that quest.
  15. Peronix replied to B_50_2's topic in Help and Advice
It's pretty much a matter of opinion which one helps more; but in mine being able to hit more often (attack) is better than the chance of hitting higher (strength)... especially with slayer. But if PKing is your cup of tea, then go with strength first. A few lucky high hits can win it big for you, because usually if you get them to low health they'll eat, and you don't want to give them that opportunity :) Worst case scenario win IMO is if you kill them, and you don't have any food left, and there's no food left in the pile. At that point you're very vulnerable to PJers.
  16. Specifically, carved oak tables. Some would recommend buidling and removing oak larders in your kitchen. I'm no sure if that's really any faster, although it might be. I trained construction flatpacking carved oak tables on my workbench. It's much faster once you get demon butler (50 con). What you do is you have a ton of noted oak logs in your inv, a fat stack of cash (however much you calculate you will need for all the sawmill/butler fees... it was in the millions for me), a saw, and hammer. Use notes on butler, have him swap them at the bank for logs, use logs on him to send him to the sawmill, once he gets back use notes on him again, then while he's gone build and destroy three larders, then after he gets back and send him to the sawmill.... it's very fast.
  17. You get the basic mage xp for the spell when you train with defense, but the ammount of mage xp you get based on hits is halved (the other half going towards defense). And you just need to be on defensive mode to get defense XP.
  18. Pic isn't working. Please host it somewhere else, like imageshack or photobucket.
  19. It should say 'warning' lots of uncropped pics! We need only see the RuneScape game interface, we don't want to see the rest of the browser or whatever else is on your screen. Good luck with your goals, though.
  20. J Mods can just blast right through an ignore list... Erm.. :uhh: What relevence does that have of my post? dilts said "i used mine to ignore all the jagex mods :P No more pestering me" You said " I never thought of that lol" I said "J Mods can just blast right through an ignore list..." Bit more clear now? Since he didn't quote dilts, I'm pretty sure he was talking about the idea the topic starter presented.
  21. I think it would be much better just to keep your list of goals in a text document on your computer, and use the list for what it was intended - to shut up people who are annoying you.
  22. I'm the only person in my immediate family that isn't lactose intolerant. My mother experiences the worst symptoms (back pain and things like that); most people on her side of the family are lactose intolerant; My father experiences mild symptoms, my sister and older brother are a little worse than my father but a little better than my mother; I'm not intolerant to it at all. So yeah, it stands to reason that most people are lactose intolerant. Besides, milk is intended for infants in their early stages of development. I think the worst thing I ever drank was a shot of whiskey. Nasty stuff. I'm not insane enough to drink things that oviously don't go well together (like steak and cake... eew).
  23. Exactly. High alchemy turns the item; noted or not; into whatever the price of that item would be. Superheat item uses high temperatures to melt ore - and burn paper :P
  24. No XP from Poison damage. All you have to do to figure that out is poison a monster and watch your xp. The most poison damage that can be caused by a player is 6, from either an arrow, dagger, spear, or anything else poisoned with super poison, or a spear poisoned with karambwan poison. The maximum possible poison damage effect comes from tribesman; their poison starts at a whopping 11 damage. <- I want whatever it is they put on their spears :)
