  1. Back in 2007, I vowed to attain a dragon large from mithril dragons. Three years later (Well, two really, as I didn't play for one of those years), and literally thousands of dragons later, still no dragon large. Today, I'm just as committed to that goal as ever. Why? Because it's the principle that matters. Even though there's really no point to it, as there far easier ways of making money, I'm not a quitter. At one point I was keeping a detailed drop log, but somewhere along the line I lost it. Ah well! Thus, this project. As I kill mithril dragons, I'll be posting the post-trip inventory for you all to see. Now, this isn't to discuss how I kill mithril dragons or the merits of killing mithril dragons or anything else of the like. No, this is for you all to laugh, cry, cheer, ignore or do whatever you want to do as I hope and pray that maybe, just maybe, the Runescape gods will smile upon me and grant me that red helmet I desire (Not a med!). Anyway, on to the pics! There are only a couple now, but as I do more trips I'll add more pics. I can't say I'll update this every day, but I'll try. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Friday, May 7th, 2010 Don't think I'll kill any more for two or so days, as I'll be doing hunter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sunday, May 9th, 2010 Just one run. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 I'm going to be mining for a while, so not sure when I'll get back to killing miths.
  2. The fact that the shields only work on damage over 200 makes me want them a lot less than I would, since the biggest reason I'd use any of them would be to kill mithril dragons (And they only max a 180, iirc).
  3. This has probably been shown before, but I'm guessing this is a bug. Unless you're able to take armor and weapons outside of Daemonheim now?
  4. When I started you could choose your class. So a long time.
  5. I guess I'll try the skill once I get 91 fletching, 79 crafting and 77 runecrafting. So, basically, that's never.
  6. I want the 99 level cap removed. Will give me a reason to get to 200M range experience or so. (And, hypothetically speaking, if the level cap were removed, does anyone know what level 44M range experience would be?)
  7. Slightly off-topic, but I seriously hope Jagex gets around to making a boss monster that is exclusively mage, since the only real "boss" you can kill with magic is Supreme (Errr... That's the melee king dag, right?).
  8. Errr... I started playing RS in the 10th grade, I believe it was. That would have been 2000. I don't think I was ever called a noob, 'cuz you couldn't see people's combat levels when I started playing lol.
  9. *shrugs* All within the past two days. I've known mith dragons are the biggest scam in RS for about three years now. And yet, I still kill them. Why? Because I'm dumb. (I really wish I still had my drop log from around November of 2007. I had about 3K kills in there, with the best being a dragon med. For the life of me, I can't understand why mith dragons have such a downright abysmal drop rate on a large. Anyone who can kill them with any regularity is better off doing GWD or TDs, which is why I guess outside of slayer and a few stragglers, no one does.)
  10. I hate doing junk trades with a passion. If that's the only way to do it, then forget it.
  11. Bah. NVM. *grumbles* It's too bad I can't sell any party hats for cash. I don't want pumpkins and easter eggs, though:'(
  12. And then, me being the idiot I am, went and sold them on the GE for 2.6M each. (In my defense, it was like 6 AM and I wasn't thinking.)
  13. The Fight Caves are more about having a fast internet connection than any real skill. And, no, I don't have a fire cape-- But only because I got PK'ed in the one I had a few years back <_<
  14. I'm pretty sure this is a joke. Are you saying that anyone who engages in an action which would earn them society's scornful eye is doing so because they were born with a predisposition to engage in that action? Personally, I wouldn't think so. ...Oh, and pejoratives are stupid ;)
  15. I think if you're going to call someone "stupid", you should at the very least have the decency to use correct spelling and grammar.
  16. I go away and in my absence this thread reaches 120 pages. Amazing.
  17. Oh boy. So, in other words, you don't know anything about her because you only care to know what suits you to know. Not surprising, really. At all. Oh, boy. This I just HAVE to see you substantiate, though I guarantee you that you're going to link me to something on the Huffington Post or the like. But, go ahead and amuse me. Okay ummm... Wow. No. Just no. A.) Just to set the record straight, women weren't charged for their "rape kits". Their insurance companies were billed for the cost of FORENSIC TESTS (You know? To catch the rapist?), which usually got passed along to the woman in the form of premiums. Source B.) Wassalia wasn't the only town in Alaska to follow this practice. It was practice in most small towns-- And has been practiced before Palin became mayor-- As it was done in order to offset the costs involved in conducting a test and prevent those costs from being passed on to taxpayers. C.) Palin never, not once, argued against a 2000 piece of legislation which banned the practice. Therefore, your contention is rather odd. Get it? Got it? Good. Ummm... No. I don't even see the point of doing this, but if you're just going to spout nonsense, then I will. You can read the rest of it here. Hardly the "religious zealot" you make her out to be. This is a nice spin. The comment, no matter how vague, in question had to do with a species of Bactrocera that is an agricultural pest rather than one used for biomedical research. Link Ummm... No. This is why I wonder where people get their information sometimes. Yeah... No. :wall: Ummm... Yeah. Right. Of the major media outlets in the U.S. (Which are supposedly in "corporate hands"), FOX is the only one who leans to the right. MSNBC leans way to the right and CNN slightly less to the right, but still to the right nevertheless. I don't know what kind of world you live in, but can I live in it as well? Oh, this'll be fun. Would you rather a sham of a trial, such as the one Saddam got or the ones conducted at Nuremberg? Or, better yet, let's just release them, where it's estimated that everyone one in seven former detainees return to terrorist cells. I didn't know I supported those. Boy, my memory must be failing me in my old age. Which are unsound, why? Would you rather send in ground forces? 1.) DADT doesn't need to be repealed. The only thing which needs to be reworked is the way it's carried out. 2.) Okay. I'll bite. Explain to me how DOMA is "anti-gay legislation". What's this? An appeal to authority? I can do that too and produce a list of economists who argued against the stimulus package, seeing as how it's going to ultimately add $9.3T ($9,300,000,000,000) to the national debt, of which no generation within the next hundred years, at least, will be able to pay off. How do you get yourself out of debt? By more than quintupling the national debt, of course! ...Oh, no, wait. First and foremost, lol @ linking climate change to evolution and baseless assumptions. But, moving on, you obviously know very little about anything other than "Obama said it's a good thing, therefore it must be a good thing!". Not only is cap and trade a FRAUD-- It raises the price of energy, most notably electricity and gas, in hopes of causing consumers to use less, when in actually it drives down GDP as both consumers and businesses cut back and spend less to compensate for higher energy prices-- But the Waxman-Markley comprehensive energy bill won't do jack crap to effect climate change. At all. Why? Because, contrary to popular belief, only about .04% of the earth's atmosphere is comprised of carbon dioxide, which accounts for anywhere between 9% - 26% towards the greenhouse effect (Greenhouse gases are considered to be nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, methane and PFC's/HFC's/SF's, excluding water vapor. Carbon dioxide comprises about 80% of all greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere by humans. Furthermore, iirc, approximately 3.4% of all carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is caused by human activity, but don't quote me on that one). The U.S. is responsible for something like 20% of the carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere by humans. Assuming a linear correlation, one could say that the U.S. contributes between 1.8% and 5.2% to the greenhouse effect, carbon dioxide wise. Even though the U.S. will contribute less to total carbon dioxide emission by 2020, we'll just assume that it continues to emit 20% of the carbon dioxide emitted by humans. A 17% reduction would thereby means that the U.S.'s contribution to the greenhouse gas effect, carbon wise, would be between 1.494% and 4.316%, which correlate to something like a 0.01% increase in worldwide temperatures, if that. But, hey, continue drinking the Kool-Aid. UHC is not inherently cheaper. It's "cheaper" for the poor who get more proverbial bang for their buck, and "more expensive" for the rich who get less bang for their buck. And the real threat to the deficit is out of control government spending and pork funding (I'm looking at the Dems). No, just Pakistan #-o Anyway, are you done now?
  18. I've learned that people don't actually dislike Palin on her merits, but rather because the media told them to dislike her. No. Seriously. I'd be willing to bet that 99.89% of people who don't live in Alaska couldn't describe anything she's done while in office (Without consulting Wikipedia!). Give me a bad orator with sound policies over a smooth talker with unsound policies (See: Obama) any day of the week.
  19. It says they signed a form agreeing to adhere to a code of conduct. The kid should have just gone up, shook a couple of hands, grabbed his diploma and sat back down. It's only high school graduation. *shrugs* ...But he'll more than likely get it, because it's stupid not to give it to him.
  20. This fight has already been booked? Edit: Yeah, I don't think this fight is going to happen anytime this year, or at all. Link
  21. So if someone did this for a year would their breasts grow by about 180 cm?
  22. ...it's 10/9, what more do you want? Nevermind, there's no point continuing. I'll just copy and paste what I wrote out earlier. Saying that 1.111... = 10/9 is dumb, because no one is asking what 1.111... expressed in fractions is, as everyone knows what it is expressed in fractions. That's not what I was asking. Sheesh. I mean, I know the answer to the question. Do you?
