  1. Eadgars ruse is handy because it gives you quick access by unlocking the trollheim teleport. For entrance, you only need skill requirements to push the boulder or squeeze through the gap.
  2. Wear light clothes (boots, cape), charged amulet of glory and wield an air staff. Take 81 cosmics (3*27) and run to the air obelisk. Charge orbs and teleport to Edgeville. Rinse, repeat. Bringing a BOB with uncharged orbs (and more cosmics, obviously) is too much clicking and a hassle with all the dropping, so IMO not worth it.
  3. Sure, greens are low xp/charm, but if you actually USE the familiar, they cost very little. Good example is the Ibis, used for fishing. Since it forages fish every once in a while, selling the fish covers the cost of shards, and more. Also, the buyip pouches also require a green charm, as does the unicorn IIRC. Granted, using several K pouches in fishing is a bit unrealistic, but just to prove the point that green charms aren't completely useless as many treat them to be.
  4. Get the small one frome the mage in the centre of the abyss. As for the other pouches, it can be your first drop, of it may take up to 20 minutes. I always go to the abyssal plane (fairy ring) and kill the leeches, as they are the lowest creatures that drop them, I can one-hit them and their drop rate is not worse then other abyssal creatures. I think that buying them from the RC guild is not worth it, time wise.
  5. If you want a change of scenery every once in a while, gte some nice charms, combat xp of the skill you want AND some accosionally nice drops, try slayer. You'll get slayer xp, combat xp and the different tasks will keep the boredom away. It is not the fastest way, but I find it much more enjoyable.
  6. For xp only I think slayer monsters may not be your best choice. Maybe armoured zombies, or ghostly warriors? Wear the clay armour for extra p, although when you factor in the time you need to play the minigame to get them, the extra is nothing too great.
  7. There are better/faster/more efficient ways of making gp's. Unless you're keen on thieving xp. No wait, there are still better ways then!
  8. NO. I would stay on the english servers. I is as bad as it is allready on the dutch servers, where I can see mangled Dutch AS WELL AS mangled English in several forms of 1337-speak. Let's not make things worse as they are allready. To that, you may add that sometimes, the translation is really awkward (sp). I mean, "Karil, de besmette" ? For all you no-dutch speakers, it sounds HORRIBLE!
  9. I think all quests are worth wile. For one, in your case they give something to train stats for. I see you have several unranked or at 1, so training them to be able to do a certain quest may be good for you. Furthermore: Watchtower quest for the teleport Edgar's Ruse fot teleport Recepy for disaster for Lumby cellar bank and increasingly good gloves Fairy tale pt 1-> requirement for part 2 Fairy tale pt 2 -> unlock fairy ring ransportation Kingom of miscellania + royal troube -> MTK-> profit/cheap supplies Just some that are VERY useful in my opinion....
  10. It has massive crush bonusses, so it is VERY useful on gargoyles and the like. I wish I bought it WAY sooner, since I get gargoyles every 1/3 tasks....
  11. I like the Edgeville one, Zanaris isn't too bad either.
  12. Do the summer quests, and get ready to do the master quest. They are fun, and should keep you occupied for some time!
  13. 100+ combat and no skill cape? *points to sig* Man I must feel bad them.... NOT! Enjoy the game, rushing a skill by grinding it gives carpal tunnel syndrome to your arm/wrist, and takes the fun out of the game. What good is a 99 when you never do it again, because due to the grinding you resent it? As stated before, break your goals up in smaller brackets, don't go from 1-99 in one go, as the chance of burning out is close to 100%. The quest cape, although looked down upon by some, is indeed a worthy cape. At least for me, since it is the only cape I have.
  14. If your math is correct, then yes. It seems too cheap to be true, though....
  15. Get slayer helm. use the black mask bonus instead of enchanted (e) so you can wear a fury. If you use a god book, take a zammy one, you sont need defence anyways. If you decide to get a rune defender, it's better the a prayer book. IIRC, proselyte gives better prayer bonus then monks robes, +1 I think. Do not sell the elemental shield, it is a clue item. It can be very hard to get (trus me I made myself a new one because on the GE I couldn't buy one...) and if you do clues it might come in handy.
  16. Provided you have the quest requirements, only WGS is one to put off. MEP II was do-able with 65 agility for me, I only got to 70 using the xp lamps from WGS  Do My arm's quest, the herb patch is extremely usefull for ranarr and high level herbs, as they never die. *points to sig* you are lvl 100 (or close) so you should be able to do most of them.
  17. It will probably work but put on Guthans son enough as the set iffect is random and MAY take long to kick in.
  18. Your first random event. They pop up....well...randomly, usually when you are doing something the same for a long time, without clicking much (cooking, woodcutting, fishing. When completed (most are really easy) you get some special clothes, or a (small) reward. As for levelling help, check out the beginners guide on this site. It is very good, shows you all kinds of hints, tips and tricks to get you started. Good luck and welcome to the game, and tip.it!
  19. But....but.... it's not FUN! I too, understand the concept of opportunity cost. I pay for all trees, if I can get the price myself. I regularly grow cacti, so I have quite some yews worth. I like the idea that I did all the work to get that tree fully grown. Like the way that I like the fact thta for my air battle staves, I bought the staff, and seaweed, blew my own orbs, crafted my own cosmics and natures do the 9300 gp I get from a high alchemy spell is something I completely earned MYSELF! So screw oppotunity cost-efficiency-grinding and play the game in a way that is fun (for me that is).
  20. Peninsula for me. Killing hobgoblins fo limpwurt roots. Take a terrorbird with me. Falador tabs for banking as I don't have skills neclaces. Ballooning from CW is also possible, but you can't bring a BoB then. Waterbirth is faster, I think, but I find it boring.
  21. Slayer helm ->blessed d-hide when ranging/mage defense Fury Bandos chestplate ->proselyte when praying ->blessed D-hide when ranging/mage defense Dragon skirt  -> proselyte when praying ->blessed D-hide when ranging/mage defense dragon boots Whip+defender or SS Barrows gloves ring of wealth Not the best, but it suits me.
  22. Light the beacons for the ring and gloves that help FMing. Every little bit in this boring skill helps, in my opinion. Good luck!
  23. Enjoy yourself. Level are not what RS is all about, fun is! I never found grinding very apealing, hence my so-so levels. If you want good stats, be prepared for some serious work. If you couldn't expose that before, why would our advice differ that? For fast/efficient levelling, refer to the Archive of Wisdom (AoW) where there are excellent guides for raising the stat of your liking.
  24. Good luck on getting the Inferno adze! Not amny people have it, and I'm far away form one as well...!!!
