What about W6 Bandos? Sort of free for all Bandos Bashing to get you started, try to find a team from there.

He just gave you 3 options! Anyway, slayer gives a nice mix of charms, of all kind, like a 2 bird-1-stone principle. If you go purely for charms, moss/fire giants for golds, dust devils/water fiends/rock lobster for crimson. Greens are expensive, but blood velds drop them. Blues: bonus charms, the are rare. Gargoyles drop them less rare then other monsters.

Is the sword 1 handed? If so, sould I bring a defender for attack bonusses or DFS for extra defence?

To stay there, you either need full guthans, or B2P (bones from dogs). The dogs are THE most annoying feature in the dungeon. You have to wait 15-20 minutes for them to become un-agressive. Make sure not to leave the area, or they'll become agressive again. Also, abducting randoms (grave digger, evil twin, etc) make this happens, so behave as un-bot-like as you can! ;)

Since you need 66 magic to enter the mage guild, you either need some levels, or go to the essence mines from Aubury in Varrock. Abyssal familiars are not much help, terror bird (for infinite run scrolls) speeds up since you can keep runnning back and forth to the bank. Remember to take all available puches to the mines. When RCing, uncharged glories sell. Anothe option is to have an uncharged gloyy mounted in your house, and tele-house -> glory to Edgeville. I think t is more costly, though. Just do heroes quest!

Hi There, I got a Sumona task for 100-odd of these, and since it's my first task ever, I decided to start it. I bought a spear and defeated the smoking kills dungeon "Uber-Kurask". I brought B2P runes and started spearing hem. I found them quite slow, but their drops are somewhat decent. What would be the fastest way of dealing with them? Does a combat familiar do any good (karamthulu overlord)? Is the broad leafed spear 1 or 2 handed? Setup: Slayer helmet, granite plate, d-skirt, d boots, glory, barrows gloves. B2P for food.

You can low-alch them for xp with the explorer's ring. 5 minutes for 30 casts, I think it is cheap xp. As you said, they don't sell in the GE, and 2k-odd times 48gp each is what? 100k junk. Depending on what kinds of junk trades you're planning to make, it's not all that much.... According to the above poster, though, someone might be interested to buy it off you, so try the RSOF.

Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
transcript80 replied to Inuashakent's topic in General Guides
I didn't read through the whole thread, but you forgot the jade vine in the " external slayer xp" part, here you explain to slay Borg daily. IIRC, you can kill it every other day, one day plant/check health, the other day fight it. I think you get 2500 slayer xp from it, and 1500 farming xp for checking health. Nice guide overall -
A quick question about construction.....

Get yourself the second best possible furniture for the costume room as flat packs. You don't need the best one as its only benefit is the looks. You can only store WHOLE costumes in there. As for books, as you discard them, they automatically go on any book shelves you have in your poh. -
When hunting chinchompas, wear explorer ring, nature amulet, take glory and possibly ectophial and herb/flower/allotment seeds. I only take herb and flower seeds, so I won't get an inventory full of produce. When your nature amulet tells you it's time, cabbage-port and farm the allotment a little north. Replant, ecto-tele and do the same there. You should have a few laces left in your inventory. Teleport to Edgville to bank, take Camelot teleport and farm there as well. From Catherby, you can take a charter ship to Oog'log, where you can dip in the pools of your liking and continue hunter (after banking). Enjoy!

When you exchange points for xp, you get 10k xp. I dont know how many points it cost, but the math shouldn't be TOO difficult. I think it is 400 point for those 10k xp. As you see, you get quite a low amount of xp for all th points exchanged. It is generally regarded as not worth it, as you can get more valuable stuff (250 slayer darts for example) forless points. It is totally up to you, though. If you learn to make the mask, you just combine the items that make the mask.

It's the wrong version! I want a black-and-tan one, they are MUCH cuter the the Blenheims. (yes, my mom own one.....)

Daily routine when logging in: Harvest patch where I was when I logged out, replant herbs and marigold (or limpwurt root when available) cabbage-teleport -> harvest, replant ecto-port ->harvest, replant glory to bank, get cammy teleport and bank herbs/flowers, get new seeds. (optional) Teleport to Trollheim for MyArm's patch. I use it only for high level seeds that I do NOT want to lose. Not worth it fot < ranarr in my opinion) Teleport to camelot, harvest/replent Catherby patch Pick 6 cocouts from fruit tree Bank, teleport to Ardougne Check Jade vine or fight it and replant. Get battle staves in Varrock Play RS As for herbs that are profitable: Toadflax is nice, although not so much exp. Ranarr you can always sell, but not so much profitsince the seed is expensive. Any higher, you're set. Max profit depends on GE prices " du jour" .

Welcome to the forums. 1) Pleasy try to type in a normal color, this is very annoying to read. (at least to me) 2) Your tips are nice, although I think they are known for quite some time. Check the "feedback" forums. There you can comment on the guides in tip.it, make suggestions or improvements. Good luck!

No the rogues den close to the burthorpe games room. It's in the basement of the pub south of the games room. No level requiremens IIRC, it si a popular place to cook or make fires. Always someone there to chat with. I cooked 3k tunas there last week, not as boring as Catherby, if you ask me. BTW, for the people taht use MTK, tuna can be a nice "free" cooking boost at 100 gp each. Excellent low level training food.

Log on to a PVP world, get yourself skulled and walk onto falador square.

When you don' t have 68 or higher summoning level. Else, I think Guthans is only better on REALLY long trips, or if you wear the body.legs and only use spear + helm to heal. That's basiscally unlimited food for 15+ hours in 2 inventory spots. I don' t know how hard summoning potions are to come by, but I can imagine somebody preferring guthans over that to elongate the trips.

The court of Leeuwarden is NOT in Holland. It is in Friesland, an other province of the Netherlands. I HATE it when my county gets called Holland. Holland is a province, not a country. O/T: There have been trials alike, not only in the Netherlands IIRC. They are kind of a test case, to see what a judge would say if there really WERE to be a court case. Those brats should get some community service for sinking so low that they would threaten a 13 year old with a knife over some RS pixels. That's the true sad part in this story. There has been a trial earlier about this guy that " stole" stuff from another online game, Habbo hotel. I'm not sure what came from that....

You could also buy the SS, do your task and sell it again. Make sure you have the 10M or whatever it costs as a buffer in your bank, and you're set. I'd go for DFS, I bought one recently and like it especially at tougher slyer monsters such as gargoyles. For lower leveled monsters, rune defender seems better. Invest in 70 prayer for piety, and 68 summoning for bunyip if you didn't allready. Bandos is not woth it (too expensive), RoW is my favorite (I'm a RoW believer). Don't go with SGS if it will cost you your whole bank.

I tried taking the willow logs, but they remained normal as I entered the spirit world. Do you have to go in the cave for tehm to transform? I try dodging as you suggested, cat666

Try alching at the nature chest in Ardougne. Basically, you'll get a nat for free after every 3 alchs. I make thing from scrap and alch them. I earn money that way, all of it is profit. And don't give me the sh*t of opportunity cost when I would have sold the materials etc... I get exp too. And it's how I fight the boredom.

That's a bit too late, I allready did 2....

Sooooo... due to limited time on RS I wasn't able to start the latest quest until yesterday. I lured the beast into the cave, and managed to get 1 pyre. Then the beast killed me. When I came back, the pyre was gone (I hadn't lit it yet). So to prevent it, I made another, lit it and died. When I came back to get the other 2 remaining pyres, I found that the beast's attack had become more powerfull. I read the guide, and this was confirmed. I had 2 more tries, and died both times. My problem is that the beast attacks too fast. I can not stay at the root to chop it long enough to get me some logs. As the beast's attacks are more dangerous now, (more splashes) it even had a wider range. Soooo, my questions: 1: how to tacle the last pyre? *I'm planning to use Oog'log spa for infinite run, take d axe and sara brews, but these are costly.... 2: What about the rest of the quest? Any other things that I need to be alert for? I REALLY want my quest cape back since it's the only skill cape I have!

I think it is in Hemenster, near the fishing guild. If I rememmber correctly, you need a lockpick to either get in or to pick the chest. Check the thieving guide for more details.
