  1. Do you enjoy training slayer? If yes -> 90 is "worth it", just as much as 99 If no -> it's not worth it, do something you actually enjoy.
  2. Wether a tree is TOO expensive is up to you and your budget. I use all seeds I get from nests in MTK. When I sell all the rest I get from there, it's very cheap xp. I save the highest level trees for last, until I get a new batch, every time I'm there, I pick the fruits/ cut it down once. So every time I visit Catherby on my farming runs, it's 6 coconuts. Every time I pass the gnome stronghold, I pick coconuts and chop down both mage trees growing 1 sqaure apart. When I'n in the elf city (gathering white berries, mining stars, slayer task) I pick the tree. It really adds up in the long run, makes SOME of your money back.
  3. Thanks.... this is going to take me a while, i think...... I tried to lend one in tip.it chat, but nobody was able to.... I try again when I have a new cpu, this one is shutting rs down, I think its grapics card is fried....
  4. Draconic visage: a valueable, but extremely rare drop from iron dragons. Range them in your best gear, use anti fire shield and antifire potions. Take a hatchet (you can drop it, only to enter the part where iron dragons are) and 875 gp for entering the dungeon. Take antifire pots, a few pieces od food (in case you mess up, nad dos on your way there do some damage as well.
  5. The pools of Oog'log are great for infinite run. Just evade the attacks, chop a few log at the time. Only take 3 items max. I died like 5 time dureing ths stage. Build a pyre when you have the required logs, progress is saved. The logs in you inventory not, of course, when you die. Yeas, it's a hassle. The next 2 caves are a lot easier. Good luck.
  6. Can you get legs from killing elite black knights? Because they are fairly tough/annoying for my level, and I want to be sure I'm not wating my time.
  7. Only Sara and Zammy book work, Guthix does not work.
  8. So, I messed up getting the elite black armour (lagged out on drop). I only have the helm and plate, no legs. In the quest guide, it says to search the wardrobe to get another set. I entered the room, but when I want to search it, it says that I "decide against the action" because I'm being watched. Buying the whole set (legs only) is a very hard thing (offers on max in GE), but how to search the wardrobe without it? Any help is greatly appreciated
  9. maples longs (u) would be nice. Also, cothes from Tai Bwo Wannai village -> trade the gems to the shops for sticks.
  10. I think training slayer for combat is the way to go. It yields xp in all combat stats, great drops (dragon boots, whips) cash, herbs, seeds and clues. If you only train it to unlock " great drops" don't bother and go GWD and hope for a hilt.
  11. Farming and herblore can go hand in hand. Farm herbs that you use in herblore. On your flower patch, farm marigolds, they sell for a nice sum on the GE. As for allotment...go cheap with tomatoes, or farm strawberries -> baskets -> sell or use as high hp food/inventory slot. For fast (yet expensive) xp, grow trees, the best you can. Fruit trees are optional, expensive but they grow slower then normal trees. Farming your own herbs may take some time, so speed up on it by killing choas druids, or aberrant spectres for herbs. Use a macaw familiar for better herb drops. Gather seconds/vials in the time that your herbs are growing. Smithing: blast furnace mith bars and smith them into bolts with the stealing creation tool for extra xp. I hear it is quite fast, and you can minimise losses or even profit.
  12. Serum 207 is cheap because the second ingredient is readily available. Pick up the ashes on known firemaking spots, like the GE. Tarromins are cheap too. Buy water filled vials in Ardougne or shilo village. You could also make potions you are actually going to use, like super attacks, prayer potions, etc. Herb cleaning is profitable, but VERY slow since it is only a few xp per herb. Making harralander tar may be fast too, I don't know about the prices, though. Make sure you farm herbs while training, to make back some of your losses, or to make even more potions.
  13. Where I live, turning 18 unlocks driving. Alcohol is allowed from 16 (not liquor, that's for 18+), as is tobacco. Turning 18 wasn't special to me. Didn't get a driver's licence until I was 19 and a half years old. I don't smoke, and alcohol started when I was 16, because that's when I started going out. Before that, I didn't feel like going out, and I wasn't interested in drinking. Didn't start it because I could, but because I wanted to. On a side note, 18-year old people are considered adults, but in many cases they aren't. Here, most 18-year old kids haven't even finished school, have no (full time) jobs (obviously), but still they are allowed to vote (most of them are not politically aware, making them a prey for opportunistic politicians) and drive cars...Odd, really......
  14. I get NOTHING for christmas. Here in the Netherlands, there's "Sinterklaas", comparable to the gift-christmas. All I want for Christmas is..... World peace : And I have little (if any) wishes for Sinterklaas. My main reason would be: I allready have everything I can (reasonably) wish for: good health, family/friends, gf, house, car and a job. What else do I need? ok, maybe this.... edit: edit 2: Sinterklaas was bisshop of Myra (Turkey) I think around the year 800 (don't expect me to be right). He's a Saint now, Saint Nicholas and known for his kindness towards kids. The night before his birthday, he gives away presents. This is on december 5th, since his birthday is december 6th.
  15. Either get members, or quit. No need to be bored of a game.
  16. for me the answer to your qestionis the answer to the next question: Do you like training slayer? If you do, carry on. If you don't train on something else. I like it, partly to the fact that I train multiple skills at the same time. gp is not a must for me, because I have enough for my needs (currently <5M). Also, I find whacking away at the same monsters for hours on end is boring. At least when training slayer, I get a change of scenery every <200 montsers.
  17. Quests are always worth doin, imo. However, if you have to start from scratch, it can be a very long way to finishing DT. And stating you are poor... Well, ancient spells are expensive. If you are poor, you might not use them a lot. For you, just getting the spell book may not be worth it, since you don't seem to like questing a lot.
  18. Aberrant spectres, abyssal demons and spiritual mages. Relatively weak, good drops, fast 'n easy. Gotta love being 87 slayer!
  19. Well, it is not allowed by Jagex rules to transfer accounts between people. That would make your choice easier. What do you want, a character which is not as rich, but created yourself, of an account with 90M just like that. I'd choose the first, since I like the satisfaction of having done everything on the account by MYSELF.
  20. I used to do hem as son as I got one. Now I usually do them when I have to bank (unless I can finish the task within 15 mins). My latsest clue has been in my bank for 2 weeks now. I just don't feel like doing it. I haven't been much on lately so my time was limited. It does not have to do with the expeted reward, just don't feel like it. My first priority is to finish the new quest. Then clue. Then continue slayering. I think.....
  21. Try to peroxidize your hair. And look like an "uber German", making you the highlight of " makeable man"... Do you expect to get more dates this way? Because every guy/girl loves black hair-blue eyes types? Sigh... All this cosmetic altering of humans makes me depressed. Why are people so insecure that tehy want to change their fr*cking EYE-COLOR! Why can't you be happy about the way you are? Also, wearing contacts for fun (Correct me if I missed you writing that you need them) is stupid, as wearing them in general is not too good for your eyes. Glasses are better anyways. But I'd like to see you wearing glasses in this shade of blue. Delete this arguemnet if you wear contacts instead of glasses.

    XP

Split it between RC and construction. However, you are not throwing away profit when spending on RC. You'll get 91 (slightly) faster, so you'll get double nats sooner. Nobody is keeping you from RC to make money after you eventually get 99! Since RC is A LOT slower to train then construction, I find it a reason to spend xp on that. I'm in the same dilemma as you....
  23. Try to make lower level (useless) potions. Serum 207 is cheap, but you need to make more. Obviously, usfull pots (super str, att) can't be the choice, since loads of people buy the herbs needed for those. Try buying harralanders, either make harralander tar (buy/collect tar from cave slime) or regular energy potions (I use them a lot, cheap xp). You need less conventional ways since people seem to be massing the obvious choices. You could collect/farm them yourself. Fight choas druid, farm in the mean while.
  24. Try the mining guild. You can take super heat runes with you, mine mith and coal, and super heat. Bank the bars.
  25. "While Guthix sleeps" I would choose a skill tjat you hate to traion, or a skill that is slow or costly to train. Also, anothe piece of the wquest reward is 10M or so, so you could use that on expensive skills such as construcyion. Slow skills that are unbuyable/hpartly buyable: runecrafting slayer mining agility summoning. I would pick one of those. For me, 200k on agility for sure. Then 100k on RC, I haven't decided on the last 100k yet.
