I've been reading through the last few pages with interest and thought I might just add my own input here. South Korea probably wouldn't be able to defend its self from any attack from NK, due to a variety of reasons. As Danq said, it would be selfish and immoral for America, a country with massive amounts of military power, to stand by and watch one democratic country filled with people with their own opinions (I say this because NK citizens are essentially brainwashed) be overtaken by communism. After all, isn't one of the things that America holds dear the concept of democracy? I would have thought that the American government and American people would like to stem the spread of communism wherever posswible. Any opposition that invading North Koreans encounter will just be disposed of (whether that be physical or political opposition). How can one possibly see this as a good thing, and how can one not agree with defending an ally from this attack which will end up with millions of people being denied their freedom of speech and expression? I would say that Ring_World's argument about China is pretty much invalid now. Granted they used to be a lot more on NKs side, but that has changed quite a bit now. Like TTanT, I don't really have enough knowledge about this to really get into a massive debate, just thought I would share my thoughts.

I remember back when I started playing, this game was more about having fun, rather than who had the highest levels etc. That was nice, but it was a good 5 years ago, so lots has changed.

I see you're buying above mid price (I assume). Is that for quicker buying? Or do monks just not buy under mid? You planning to sell at around ~390?

That's pretty amazing value for money, if OP wants to get that it will last a while (technically) @OP I know you said that building one is a bit out of your comfort zone, but it will be cheaper, even with the cost of having someone else assemble it (most local computer stores will help). All I'm saying is you should maybe give it another thought. On the topic of prebuilts, I'll have a look around. Edit: this looks quite good. This one has a graphics card rather than an integrated graphics card, which is more important than having 2GB more of ram and a 1tb harddrive (which you probably won't use all of), and its $70 cheaper. Probably a good idea to have a look at a few other pc's before buying though. You're going to want 4-6GB of ram and either a dual core processor with >2.6Ghz, or a quad with >2.4Ghz, I would go with a dual core really. You almost defiantly want a graphics card (as opposed to any kind of integrated graphics card). Steer clear of anything that says 'intel' in the graphics section.

Are you looking to build one or get a prebuilt? If you aren't comfortable building one, I'm think there are places that will build it for you if you give them the parts. Building is normally quite a bit cheaper for the same specs, or you could spend the same and get better specs. Either way, you should definitely consider buying parts individually and then assembling yourself/getting someone to assemble it for you.

I'm not sure about any firefox addons, but I know that DVDVideosoft has some software that will do the trick.

I'm enjoying this :D Some spawn issues, but meh. If you're annoyed, go to combat training, stick on unlimited time and 30000 xp limit, famas extended mags/whatever, and have 6-9-11(sentry-chopper-chopper) and put difficulty on to recruit, and just mow them down as they spawn :D

While that was pretty cool to watch, I'm not surprised that it only took 6 days. They had God knows how many workers and 7 cranes or something. Still very interesting (y)

This is a conspiracy theory that I don't really agree with.. Not going to watch those videos because I don't have time but I just don't think something like that exists... just people were bored and decided to make up a story or something.

As others said, it's not a good thing to heat up your CPU, as it lowers its life span and may make it break. Go buy some blankets or gloves or something. If you still would rather break your CPU, as Georgelemmons said you can use BOINC, or Prime95. Just don't do it though.

I'm not really a fan. The bullets are like BB's and they need to do something about the spawn system. I'm in their spawn and it seems to choose the spawn points close to me, and even if I kill em they spawn really close (which is good for me but annoying nonetheless). But yeah. Those are my 2 criticisms, the fact that you need rather a few bullets to kill people is irritating.

Not by much means around to ~2.7GHz if its stable.

Computer is custom made and CPU is out of warranty. I'm trying to squeeze a little more performance from my game Nadril. I defiantly don't want to be breaking my CPU, but I'm not planning on raising it by much. If it doesn't make any difference I'll just restore it back to the original 2.4GHz CPU/266MHz FSB. Is what I'm saying right though (original post)?
