Free Speech: The Freedom to Hate, The Freedom to Love
But how does hate speech infringe on others rights? While I hear this as being the primary justification for the limitations on free speech, I have never heard of any specific examples where say a Neo-Nazi rally or speech somehow caused people's rights to be violated. There is no right to not be offended.

Logitech Gaming Keyboard/Mouse Series
Nadril's build is good, but are you sure you wouldn't be willing to build your own computer? you do generally get more for your money doing so.

Decrease the posting delay!
I think reducing the flood control slightly to something like 15 or 30 seconds would be a good idea. While it has been a long time since I have had to put up with the flood control, I distinctly remember being annoyed by constantly having to wait to make multiple posts. Beside that, from my experience spammers that would actually need flood controls to keep at bay are sufficiently rare that it wouldn't be too big a burden on the moderating staff to reduce the delay.

Help put an end to junk trading
Junk trading is the market's response to a fundamentally broken system. Much like the things people did to circumvent price controls in communist countries in past years, as long as the problem exists (a economic system that does not respond to market forces) people will continue to circumvent the system. While your idea is good in theory, it will never work practically.

Don't buy a Dell! (And I need help)
A little Googling. I also have the latest magazine with PC World's Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey (60k+ participants) that ranks Dell above most of the other manufactures. Same with the PC Magazine survey. That's weird. Were these dated for 2 years ago? At the moment HP is kicking Dell in the [wagon]. It was two years ago that Dell was terrible. After Micheal Dell retired the new CEO outsourced all of the customer support to India, causing their ratings to tank. Just recently Dell took the company back over again and fixed the customer support problem as well as made some other changes. (Apparently he just walked in one day and fired the entire upper management of the company)

Plane crashes into Hudson River
This was an excellent landing by the pilot. Particularly when you consider the circumstances, the landing was very very good. Apparently some of the witnesses that saw the plane land were under the impression it was actually a seaplane because the landing was so good.

Operating System
Aside from the obvious differences between vista and XP, the primary difference between 32 and 64 bit OS's is the amount of memory they can handle - with a 32 bit OS, it can only address about 4 GB of memory meaning that in your setup not all of the memory in your computer would be usable. A 64 bit setup on the other hand can address a massive amount of memory. For a new computer, you should go with vista home premium X64 edition, hands down.

HD
updating your computer's driver may help a little, but that GPU is generally just not powerful enough to run RSHD. You are pretty much out of luck in terms of running it.

Computer -> TV.
For presentations as well as some games, using a TV can work well but as a primary monitor it is generally a bad idea. The resolutions of TVs are just too low to use as a practical monitor - even a TV in 1080P only has the resolution of about a 22 inch monitor.

Question about eBay and hardware.
As you said, with computer parts it can be hit or miss. Because a fried piece of electronics gear can be physically indistinguishable from a good part, it can be dangerous to buy on an auction site, and it's not uncommon to see people selling parts that they overclocked incorrectly and fried in an attempt to get at least some money out of it (screwing the customer). If you go with a seller that has a lot of good feedback it may be worth a look, but generally auction sites are to be avoided when buying computer gear.

A question on logging into iTunes Store
This. An "unknown error" is very, very vague and it is highly unlikely someone will just be able to pop in with an answer. Just call Apple, they have the best tech support in the industry. They should be able to solve your problem.

ipod touch alternatives
IF you don't like their DRM just don't buy your music from Itunes - use standard MP3's. There is no built in DRM that will somehow stop you from playing your own music.

'tis the season for a new mouse (what-to-buy thread)
Why don't you want a wireless mouse? As blade said, most of the cheap ones are terrible, but the higher end wireless mice are really excellent. I have owned a Logitech MX Revolution Mouse for a little over a year now (I picked it up on black Friday last year for 40$) and it has served me flawlessly. There is no noticeable lag at all, even when playing games and it is much, much more comfortable and looks much better then any of the mice in the Logitech gaming series. While on Newegg it is a bit overpriced, shop around and you should be able to find a good deal on one within your price range.

turbo key
Aside from various programs that can be used to duplicate the effect or specialized keyboards, I know some people have used a mouse with a very responsive wheel to a similar effect - you assign the wheel the key so that every time the ratchet "clicks" it is equivalent to a button press. A friend of mine used this tactic to great effect in Call of Duty 4.

How Do I Getn An Avatar?
By avatar you are referring to the image below your rank to the left of your posts, correct? To upload one, go to the user control panel, then profile, then avatar. Pick an image off your computer, then hit upload - the process is similar to uploading a signature, except the image is automatically resized and you do not need a host such as imageshack to out the image on first. Finally, the image size limit is 8 kilobytes.

Looking for a laptop :o
For your needs, with no particular budget a 15 inch macbook pro would be an excellent pick. If you prefer Windows just dual boot Vista (as I do). The hardware is very good, and since your budget is not particularly tight, its worth spending the extra ~150$ over a comparable PC for the better build quality.
