If I were you, I would do DKS. Hybrid rex + Supreme and kill prime if you have time left (probably not). You get mage xp and with the money you make, you can buy Dbones to lvl your prayer. If you want more mage xp, and less profits, mage abyssal demons, or perhaps iron drags.

I can see Kurity's point: It's very easy for Jagex to make a quest hard by just adding a hard "grind requirement". However, adding some activity in the quest that's insanely hard with low skills, and gets easier with higher skills, would be a much more elegant solution in my opinion. On the other hand, it's true that high requirements give good incentives to train skills, so I don't really mind high requirements. So yeah, high requirements can be good, but I don't think the eliteness of a quest should be solely decided on it's requirements. And no, of course I wouldn't think fishing to 97 is fun. I always feel this urge to react when people are telling me they "love cooking", or some other afk skills. What they love is the talking, and watching movies etc... That's why I'm not a big fan of afk skills, I mean, what's the point, you aren't even playing the game.

Yes, but magic bonus don't always stack in the same way. Arcane necklace and sol for instance stack as in that you can add the percentage boosts: 0.15 + 0.15 = 0.3 Other boosts however are multiplied, for instance an overload pot + SOL + ASN + slayer helmet would be: 1.21 * 1.3 * 1.15 = ...

I've tried turmoil + rapier + void, and maging (fire surge, overloads, SOL), and both methods are pretty equal. Rapier is more straightforward, but more luck based, while magic is very consistent but a bit more complex cause you gotta switch outfits and attack styles.

Oh, I didn't know it used a combat turn. Something else: I think you messed up east and west in your luring section.

Glad you are looking into ranging more. When I tried melee'ing there, I was put off by the excessive clicking (and me failing at flashing properly and nearly dieing) + me having to run all around the room picking up bones. Have you looked into ranging + telegrabbing? It seems even more useful than with melee'ing cause when ranging you never really go up close with the dragons (and their death piles)

This. It's a misconception that you should mage the monsters that have good drops. You always lose the same amount of money when you mage, the monster drops are independent of this. Maging a monster because it makes you break even is not always the best option. (you might be better of melee'ing the profitable monster and maging another low mage def low drop monster)

Yeah, I usually keep melee pray up though because he can hit over 300 and sometimes like to combo with freezing you. Once when he decided to free me 4 times in one kill I was around 450 lp and was to busy flashing ss to notice my super antifire wore off and died in one hit. Good thing it's really easy to get back to kbd. Watch out though, one rev that teleblocks you and you're done.

How do you afk miths? When I kill them, I'm flashing SS with melee protect, which is hardly afk'ing, but uses very little food.

I'm pretty sure you can make around 1.8k pots per hour, when using unfinished ones OR extremes. It happens that special restore pots are the cheapest option out there (around 25 gp/xp) so that's 360k xp an hour. Extreme mage pots are even faster and cheaper, but you have to grind your own mud runes so in the end they are not faster.
