+1 For me, i'm interested in how long 1k casts takes, and 4k casts takes. Well, it's around 570 casts an hour. So 4000/570 h. (almost 8 hours)

How did you watch those series in the mean time? All on one desk top? Cause it doesnt take that long to kill one to switch screens all the time.

Well, the problem is that he interupts your luring, cause he attacks those lobsters. This way, lobsters won't always follow you, or run out of their safespot while bursting. I wouldn't advice to bring one. If anything, bring a bunyip at the start, so you save some bloods, but even that...

Try greys again. Use +15% range, potting every 5 levels (3 if you want to compare to my level), and starting XP after setups - the total XP per trip will very depending on length; the best way to do it is without setup, so that setup XP reduction can be later calculated and used to determine the effects on overall XP for various trip lengths. Will do. How I did my (extensive) calculations for Red chins was by just looking at xp every 15 min. You can see that the first 15 min are slow, but after that the xp is pretty consistent. You can then pick out a "good" hour. (like from minute 30 to minute 90). Srangely enough, the average xp/h for the whole trip wast very different from the xp I got during my "best" hour (I think it was 309k compared to 320k).

How did you gain nearly 12m smith xp in 5 days :o Big congrats on con. I assume you made mahogany tables?

I'd say a Lava titan is best cause you can bank and go back in like 1 minute. This way you can bring cheap food and quickly telly back. If the lunar tele is really that close, bring a yack. I'd really really recommend strawberries since you'll have to wait pretty long in between spawns, which is ideal for the slowly eatable strawberries. 30hp for under 400gp, you cant have it any better. After thinking, lunar + yack might actually be best (since yack fights too, and is stronger than a lava titan, right?). Bring monkfish/pineapple pizza and strawberries + potions, I wouldnt know the exact amount though.

Still, I dont get how you get 65xp more than me. Havent retested greys yet though...

Can you explain me how you get 240 xp per grey chin, when I get 235 xp per red chin? I used full void, 10% ranged prayer, geyser titan, and I know what I'm doing (how to get enough monkies around you etc...). I used 1314 chins per hour on average. (168.5 minutes of testing). Used short fuse. edit: 93 ranged edit: check for my topic in this help and advice "quick chinchompa question" for more data At tryto: I got 176 xp per grey chin in a previous test. However, that was starting from the beginning of a trip, and using a tortoise in stead of geyser titan. (and not much experience yet).

You have a point. 2000/16=125 So if u have 125 people all using d bow spec with d arrows -> instant kill If they were all to 3 item the beast, its free cash, with 0 risks. Now organising it would be hard, but im sure we have that many tip'ers with d bow. 125 people is what we would need if everyone hit the minimum damage. Presumably not all the specs are going to be double 8s. Double 8 IS the minimum damage.

Thanks, that explained how I came up with only 177 xp per red chin (medium fuse), as opposed to 176 xp per grey chin (short fuse), yet getting 60k ranged xp in 10 min with red chins (was lucky though, in the next 10 min only got 40k), as opposed to 230k an hour with grey chins.

Off topic, but I've been wondering this...What exactly makes untrimmed HP "impressive?" I'll probably end up getting 99 HP first whether I want to or not...and I'm guessing that it's the same for most people who don't care about training skills past their levels of usefulness just for the capes. Exact same situation here, Hitpoints being my highest skill at 98... 490k xp. Same here :D (well, actually, I just went past it with mage 97 mage, 96 hp, but I'm chinning now, so gonna change soon).

Maximum ranged damage (multi): At least 18x9 (thats what I hit at 92 ranged with red chins, full void, range pot, and 10% prayer). So with 99 ranged, full void, red chins, range pot, 15% pray, it's more like 21*9.

Btw, how did you manage to make a profit when they were going down?

Lol, I'm exactly at the same situation (But I bursted rock lobs for 92-97 magic and 83-89 summoning). I heard enchanting bolts isnt too bad either.

Short or Medium Fuse? I got the feeling medium is faster, but less xp per chin, am I right?
