  1. Runescape game bar? I dunno, but I severely doubt he is coming back for this very reason. Banned Account Reinstatment
  2. Gah! C'mon people! He just asked for what a good place to WC is. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean he doesn't. I personally love WC and got 99 in F2P and I don't regret a second of it. He likes to WC, therefore he's asking a good place to do it. If you can't tell him a good place to cut, don't post. Also, to add to my previous post: While getting 99 I cut yews from 90+ and sold them to the Rimington general store. Though, this was before FT so I don't know if the bots have become worse there. At 90+ the exp there is pretty close to willows and doesn't require as many clicks.
  3. Sorry, when I said grinding I meant how I personally feel I've changed through this game. Back when I started in 03?04? I was a true noob. I went around training my skills as I went. Cutting a line through the forest eventually finding a new city to explore. Killing any monster that got in my way regardless of level. That sort of thing. Now, it seems as though that is lost not only to me but the vast majority of the players. I'm sure grind has always existed, but back then far far fewer players were looking for endgame stats (curse you skill capes!) so they only trained what they wanted, when they wanted it instead of "what's an easy 99? Fletching? Okay, I'll sit in this bank for 100 hours for the cape".
  4. Gameplay: 2011 (Plenty of fantastic updates) Community: 2006 (even Tipit is noticeably worse, maybe it's just society) Jagex: 2006 (Phoning it in lately with all of the Wildy stuff and getting weaker on the scum of the game) Personal enjoyment: 2006 (everything is better when you play for fun and adventure, not grinding in a bank for 100 hours)
  5. I haven't been to F2P since the FT update so these spots may or may not be packed. Port Sarim (beside Draynor Village wall) - Deposit box nearby Port Sarim (south of jail) - Drop Rimmington - Sell to general store Crafting Guild - Drop Edgeville (east of the bank) - Bank or drop That's all the spots I can think of other then Draynor Village AKA bot central.
  6. Essentially, the urn catches the 'scraps' from skilling. Say you`re mining. You mine 1 iron ore and your urn collects some imaginary `scrap`iron ore and gets a certain percentage full. Then, once the urn is full, you can click it to teleport it away and get experience for it. I know in P2P the best urns usually do 20% bonus exp but Im not sure about F2P.
  7. Forum name: OrTradeMe Ingame name: Or Trade Me Slave you wish to bid for: N Odie Your bid: 1,000,000 GP and a cabbage Picture of the cashpile/items, with your name clearly visible in the chatbox and the cashpile examine also visible (NEEDED):
  8. Strong WC urn = 1662 exp 220 oaks = 7.5 bonus exp / log = 20% bonus 124 willows = 13.4 bonus exp / log = 20% bonus 84 maple = 20.0 bonus exp / log = 20% bonus So I think you see the pattern.
  9. I did a test about 2 months ago with elemental wizards and got 75k/h. So it's half decent as far as F2P moneymakers and there is never any competition. Not sure about how talisman prices are doing lately though.
  10. Someone should try this at green dragons. :shades: Meh, the vast majority of bots have fled the wilderness in favour of blue drags.
  11. Those probably came from a maze random or something.
  12. Yeah, people who walk by often think that a skiller innocently died and decide to bless / repair their graves no knowing that it was a bot. 2.2M of the GP in that loot pic by Big_Mac was from a grave that a cocky main blessed because we're appearantly bad people for giving botters old school justice. We just hopped back tot he world when it was time to loot (one of the graves was recovered by the bot in the hour it was blessed <_< )
  13. I wasn't trying to leech. I didn't know you guys were duoing. I assumed that 33 was a leech. I was going to give you anything I picked up <_< And yes, I just talked to your partner on another world and we got things sorted out.... seeing as it was a QC world it's a little hard to tell who's partering and who's leeching. And yes, I only stuck arround to see the profits which I'm quite impressed by.
  14. I've been thinking that if no one else wants to, I can run a cc for this. In it people can find partners for duo luring or ask for tips on how to learn or even share good worlds. I don't have much friends list space but I think we as Tipiters are mature enough not to start running our mouths at each other. I don't expect it to be very full, but it should be a nice place to gather. CC: Or Trade Me Rules Be nice to your follow bot killers, don't hop world to world looking to steal loot etc. If someone helps you, the least you can do is offer a split of the drops. Not neccesarily 50/50, but something is always nice. If a skiller gets attacked and asks you to stop please do. Skillers are our friends. Most of all have fun, kill botting scum, and make GP!
  15. Yes, but in F2P the extra few GP/EXP is probably not worth it seeing as there is very low money making potential (most methods are 50-100k/h). I did 99 FM in F2P years ago with maples to 95, then yews to 99. I only did yews at the end because I was getting impatient, but I usually just tell people to use maples the whole way. Willows = .1 gp/exp = 1.3M to 99 and 144 hours. Maples = .33 gp/exp = 4.3M to 99 and 96 hours. Yews = 2.16 gp/exp = 28M to 99 and 64 hours. (Numbers assume exactly 13M exp to 99 and 1000 logs burned per hour which was my long term average)
  16. You saw me, I wasn't failing....that badly....tehehe. It's harder solo. PM me ingame and I can teach you.
  17. What you do is attack a bunch of guards with a carrot or punching and then run out of the guild and, sticking to the wall, luring the guards to the fence where you move back and forth a bunch until they go into the fenced off area that has all the bots. From there it depends on if you are solo or duo. Solo - As far as I know, the only way is to log out then back in very fast. This get the guards off you but hopefully they stay inside the fence. Then, run back in and attack them all again to get them on you. Then hide behind the first torch that's along the fence as a safespot. They will all face you and most will move right in the botters way. Duo - Get a partner to attack any guard inside the fence and hide behind the torch. With this way, one person can continuously be luring without having to worry about running out of guards. Got another kill, 400k and 14k tickets. I got the tickets but a pure got the 400k  well, he did share half. Speaking of which, Jimmy PM when you get on and I'll give you 100k of that. (Jimmy's a pro lurer)
  18. That's not why they focus on dealers. They focus on dealers because the junkies are what profit them... 80% of all police revenue is off busting junkies, fining them, and then releasing them back to the "wild", and harvesting them again. It's actually one of the main reasons marijuana's still illegal. Do your research before you open your mouth, kid. And on that note I would like to see a source for that little 'statistic' you left there.
  19. Got 2 kills, but most loot was stolen by greedy pures  Got about 100k in loot though. I've had like 5 people RoL out which ticks me off! I want free GP! Also, it works best when one person lures the guards into the feance and then another person attacks them to get them off you, that way you wan have 1 lurer constantly luring guards and the ones already lured stay in the fence.
  20. I've seen and used that one (just got another kill 5 mins ago) but I'm wondering how this one works because craft guild bots are all just noobs in iron.
  21. Bots do things based on item, npc and object ids so this works very well for certain bots Yeah I'm sure there are still bots out there who will fall for this old trick, but towards the end of Free Trade v1.0, I seem to remember bots becoming more sophisticated and immune to luring. EDIT: Ah thanks for the explanation. That sounds interesting, I'm going to have to try it sometime. The reason they stopped working was because gold farmers were starting to use actual workers controlling accounts more and relying less on bots, at least for things that you could afk on 10 accounts at once like cutting trees. That, and they learned that programing their bots to follow lines of yews to their death was a bad idea. Could someone who knows how to do this provide a guide in pictures? Or at least a little more precise? I've looked around and can't see any way to get this to work the way described.
  22. I just killed 2, but in my stupidity accidently blessed the graves....oh well guess I'll be back in 1 hour to loot the graves  Also, I've found that using wind rush is a good way to get the cows on you without hitting them too high.
  23. I've noticed that too...everyone I find can open gates  I want free loot!
  24. Honestly, I think it's largly due to the ease of flipping. In the first couple days people were making 10M per hour, that's 240M per day! With that sort of money being made, there's no way the demand for partyhats would be able to keep up with demand at lower prices. Also, I think staking has returned a lot faster then I (and a lot of other people) expected. I forget who it was, but a couple page into the update thread they had already made a couple hundred mill staking. I for one expected the focus to be on PKing and trading rather than staking. Not to mention those glitchers who could guarentee a win for themselves could probably make billions of GP in an hour, no way partyhats (and other expensive items like ESS) could keep up with the new demand in their current price range. I have no idea where prices will go for partyhats, but I don't expect them to be as low as we saw them just before free trade ever again.
