Hey, For the last week Internet Explorer 9 has been closing my RS tab any time I try to load the game. I've only tried to play RS a few times this week and it has ALWAYS happened. As soon as I click "Play Now" the game will start to load for a second and then the tab will 'colapse' then try to reload its self. It fails one more time and then gives me the following message. I can still play in Firefox, but I prefer to use IE9 because it feels better then FF when it's stripped down. What can I do about this?

Yes. There are Dunge bots. But since bot are usually slower than humans at puzzles and stuff and since they solo (haven't heard of bot teams) the exp for them is very slow...but yeah there are dunge bots.

The sad thing is that, even in F2P well over 50% of scammers are P2Pers who are mid-high levels (80-110 usually). I would 'understand' if it was F2Pers because we don't have better money making methods, but even a level 3 can make hundreds of K more 'manually' than through scamming in P2P. EDIT: Copy and paste what Carl (Newb) just said and put my name on it and you have my opinion.

And just so you know, the scroll of efficiency has saved me 1.51% of the bars from 88-95.

Blizzard CM mods know about the game though. :thumbdown: Stop making excuses for Jagex's failures, its embarrassing. Well I'm sure WoW CM mods are also paid to know. It's no excuse (they could easily ask someone who knows) but it's understandable that a customer service rep doesn't know all of the ins and outs of the coding of the game client.

Fishing in F2P, you can get something like 200 lobs/h which is like 18k exp/h. I haven't fly fished in a while, but I think it's like 30-35k exp/h? And I think C2 in F2P is something like 25k/h iirc but I know little about fishing. For smithing, you can't do addy platebodies until 88, so that's out. Firemaking, again I did some calculations a week ago so prices may be a bit off. Kinda funny how TT rune items are so cheap... Though doesn't the buy limit put a huge damper on alching them? Heraldic varieties 1-4 (1-5?) of helmet, shield, platebody, platelegs, plateskirt in adamant, rune and black. 60 or 75 items, buy limit is 100 each per 4 hours? 2400 or 3000 items per 4 hours. If you leave an offer overnight, should be ok. Do heraldic items count as normal armour (100/4h) or TT items (2/4h)?

As far as I know, the Livid Farm isn't very significant in terms of the total runes used in all of RS. Jagex recently changed the ess mines around and also Aubrey's item ID so all of the bots are outdated. Apearantly out of spite for players over using ess bots and crashing the price hard, the bot makers are refusing to update the ess prices until they go up. I think that ess prices got high enough for some bot makers to update the bot, but on the whole, I don't think enough bots are updated to make the prices crash. Also, a lot of people invested in ess when they heard bots were broken, so I'm sure there's plenty sitting in people's bank until they think it's time to sell.

Recently, I've noticed a certain type of bot (I have no idea what skill it's for, the bots range from lvl 100+ in full rune to level 3s with bronze pick/hatchet) that's been getting stuck in Varrock west bank. They run from in the bank, north to the dead bush, then back to the bank. Anyway....I figured even if I told Jagex about the broken bots they wouldn't go looking for them, so I took it upon myself. 2 hours, 60 worlds (all of the F2P worlds) and over 300 bots reported (using a conservative average of 5 per world including the non-stuck bots I saw in the bank) I'm finally done. Now we just sit back and hope Jagex does something about them.

Nats were good when they were like 130 each, not now though. I reccomend addy platebodies for some alching. You can only get 600/day, but if you leave an offer in you can get them for like 9500 while they alch for ~9850ish so it's like 100k/day profit which can be used to offset the costs of alching items that lose gp.

This is the last info I could find on the ownership of Jagex, and as we all know, a lot has changed since 2008 but the fact remains that the Gower brothers have never shied away from outside investment. My real question is; will it use real actors or will it be animated? And if it's animated, will they just make it machinima? Oh please no machinima!!!!!

From 95-99 FM I use Varrok tele -> run to center of fountain -> burn to bank -> repeat. I think I could get up to 1200 logs/hour though I averaged 1k/h (I talk to friends too much :rolleyes: ) Other locations would be the GE (with or without backburning) or near pretty much any bank (Draynor, Edge, I hear Deamonheim works too). As for logs, I don't know you're price range but just looking at the GE prices here are the GP/EXP ratios for the commonly burned logs. Well, smithing in W7 today I ran into a 'mule' that RWT sites use to gather together all of the items/gp from goldfarming bots. In the 1.5h that they were transfering, I reported over 200 bots. That's just the bots that traded this 1 mule! Quite honestly, I can understand not perm banning P2P accounts because of all the income they get from them, but these were all F2P goldfarming bots. There is no reason at all to let them survive, and the problem is that they do let them go on.

Using home tele and then dual rings would be the fastest, yes. But what I don't know is if it's worth it. Not only does the altar cost 1850k to make (with burners) but you'd also have to get those last few cons levels to be able to make it which takes more time/money. My opinion is that, if you're planning on leveling construstion / prayer in the next while (beyond the 83) then you should for sure make your own. But if you have no plans on leveling prayer or construstion in the near-mid future, then just find someone on the RSOF who is hosting an open altar.

Yea, wasn't Jagex banning 80,000 a week in 2007? That means that they're bot banning capabilities are effectively 1/8th as useful as they were, or they were lying before about the numbers. I thought the thread was only talking about the number that they have caught with these bot busting sessions, so 20000 on top of the normal number caught by normal players reporting. But I may be wrong.

I'm actually in the process of getting 99 smithing with addy platebodies. AW is usefull before 88 (87 if stouting) but after 88 addy plates are your best bet. I bought my bars at 2250 and sell my plates at 9850 so it's -4.5 gp/exp @ 200k exp/h which is far better then AW. And with scroll of efficiency, that cost goes down to just under 4 gp/exp.
