  1. We'll have to wait and see how active these bot busting sessions are. As of right now, they're not frequent enough to do any real damage but if they step up the frequency I see this as actually working fairly well. Overall, this is just them resaying the same stuff they've said since day 1.
  2. Found a level 90 spamming this in a bank. i hurd jagex hired ppl who tok like this
  3. What is wicked full technique, or is that it? From what I understand, you stake double (plus a bit?) your last stake if you lose. That way, once you win one you'll be back even. So if you go by Ermin's expample and lose a bunch in a row; 1m - loss 3m - loss 7m - loss 15m - loss 31m - loss 65m - win See, then once you do get that win, you have lost a total of 57M and won 65M (giving 8M profit) even though you've only won 1/6 of your stakes. Then, as soon as you win, you start over again at 1m.
  4. It's not that there is no difference between being online and real life. It's that the difference is not as drastic as people believe. The truth is that you are still a person playing a multiplayer minigame with other people. To think that you are right to sit there as others do the work for you so that you can have the rewards is nothing more than selfish narrow mindedness. It does not matter whether you are playing Runescape, playing sports, or working on a team project, you are interacting with real people and just because you can't see thier flesh and bones doesn't make it right to use them toward your own selfish gains.
  5. Yes, as long as 2 conditions are met; You follow the "one imput = 1 output" rule. You can have 1 key move left and 1 move down, but not one that moves down and then left with 1 press. Your mousekeys use relative movements and not definite. That is to say, you can make a button move the cursor down 10 pixils, but not one to move the cursor to 'spot x'.
  6. I don't think that applies to runescape. Why not? And please don't use the "RS is just a game therefore no real life morals and values should apply" because so long and you as a real person are playing the game with other real people, real life values such as working for your rewards and not taking advantage of others for your own gain should still apply regardless of the medium.

  8. Just to show that math for max exp per hour alching; (5 game ticks per alch) x (.6 seconds per tick) = 3 seconds per alch (60 minutes per hour) x (60 seconds per minute) = 3600 seconds per hour (3600 seconds per hour) / (3 seconds per alch) = 1200 alches per hour (1200 alches per hour) x (65 exp per alch) = 78000 experience per hour
  9. 1 Thessalonians 5 1 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. Seems pretty straight forward that no one can know, especially because this guy's "math" used to support his ideas is deeply flawed.
  10. From my experience, the (-) mage defence from a plate offsets the (+) crush defence in terms of food needed. I always seems to find more mages than wariors and you can't safespot mages to kill them last. My binds have always been spear - longbow - frac arrows and I rarely ran into problems. Though, I am 65+ RC and 90 range, so it may not be as good for everyone.
  11. They can go together if you enjoy that sort of thing, but for most people I've met, max efficiency =/= fun. My tip would be; Be nice to people. It makes the game far more pleasant if you're nice to people because for the most part, if you're nice people will at least be civil back to you. And when you're spending thousands of hours online, the last thing you need is a hostile environment.
  12. I actually prefer F2P. It's a much more simplistic and relaxed setting for me. The whole P2P 'culture' is around grinding for the max exp rates and GP making*. When I get P2P, I always feel the need to 'get my monies worth' out of every second even though it's only $5. I've been P2P on 4 occasions, usually for 2 months at a time and I always come back to F2P. To me it's home. Sure, P2P is nice to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there  *Not everyone is like that, but it sure is the 'vibe' that the community has, at least in my experience. Also, to anyone who uses the argument for P2P that F2P is just noob central, I see just as many noobs in P2P as F2P. You do get more newbs in F2P but for the most part they're nice enough in their infinite questions about the game which I'm more than happy to answer. Note: I use 'noob' as the typical jerk aditude and 'newb' as a new player.
  13. If you Dunge with a party you can use any world but in general the people there are better than the normal W7 Dungers. As long as your party's average CB level is under 90, you'll get the "normal" exp.
  14. Back when Dunge came out (the first day or two) members found out that because F2P bosses were lower combat levels, it was faster exp to train in F2P than P2P. Because of this, Jagex decided to cut the exp for any party with an average combat level of 90+ by half. So people use skillers to reduce the average combat level of the party. The fact that the npc's are lower leveled is just another plus. The sad thing about this is that when P2Pers used F2P to train was when people were all under level 50 Dunge. At that point on the curve, the exp difference is so minimal that condemning F2Pers who are over 90 cb to sub-par exp rates forever was a bad idea.

Welcome here Ronny. Just for clarification, to introduce yourself you should use this thread http://forum.tip.it/topic/276124-introductions-farewells/ because if everyone made a thread like this, we would be up to our chin in intro threads. If you ever have questions about TIF, feel free to PM me or one of our great forum mods using the message system on the forums.
  16. Hey, whats your method standing next to the path to the noter guy, with a scorpion? Then when they walk past it attacks them? http://forum.tip.it/topic/286958-methods-for-killing-bots/page__view__findpost__p__4719181
  17. You know, I've been meaning to make a F2P skilling money-making guide for quite a while now, but with the recent bot explosion, ALL F2P gathering money makers are essentially toast. One on one vs bots a human will win 90% of the time (mining) but with 10 bots per spot, it's imposable to do anything. Even WCing oaks there are so many bots chopping that the tree falls faster than you can get to it. Guess I'll just slowly work out the formatting and do the testing in the few bot-free hours after updates...
  18. Ah, ninja'd... But yeah, until now whenever Jagex said 'all players' it has always meant F2P inclusive so we assumed that it would still mean that now. I guess we now have no way of predicting if an update is F2P from BTS's anymore... <_<
  19. Translation : I wasted my money on an sgs when claws would have been a better investment and so instead of admitting it and selling it for claws I'm now going to make up a story about how it is just as good as a whip despite all testing and math done in the past the proves otherwise. LRC arent weak to crush, they're weak to anything. For the record, I had both. I wasn't trying to make the point that GS's are super wepons. All I was saying is that in my experience GS's are not that bad. Yes, whip + ddef will always be better but in my opinion and experience, GS's are not as bad as everyone here makes them out to be.
  20. Honestly, I wouldn't discount BGS as 'trolling' because LRC creatures are said to be weak to crush. That being said, whip + defender will still be better, but I liked to use my SGS on those tasks and I often went kill for kill with people who were arround my level who used whip.
  21. Yeah, I went for my daily bot reporting sweep through W7 and found far less then usual. And this was like 12 hours after the update. I guess some bot owners don't turn the bots back on right away for fear of breaking? Regardless, 12 hours after an update and there were still 50,000 less players online than normal.... :ohnoes:
  22. As it's looking now, it's a Conservative majority. I can't say I'm happy with this, but at least with a majority we'll get something done...now what they do with that power remains to be seen. I'm of legal age to vote, and had considered it, but none of the leaders in my opinion are worthy of leading the country.
  23. The link seems broken, here is a link that is working for me (live video streaming) http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/42852646#42852646 I am never glad when a person dies, but I am glad that the figurehead of a terrorist group is now incappable of causing more harm. I just hope that the person who takes over for his is not worse then him.
  24. Then just ban the ones that are clearly goldfarmers because they WILL come back. As a PMod of over 5 years, I can tell you that what Das said about the PMod system being flawed is true. All mods are good for is muting. Other then that, it's just a status symbol. I do my absolute best to help clean up this game, but without Jagex's help, it's a losing battle.
  25. Essentially, you can swear as long as you don't do these 2 things; 1 - Evade the censor so that anyone with the filter on can see 2 - Swear at someone in a rude manner (this includes sayiing things like "**** you" etc) As for why you were muted, we were not there so we can't tell, but I know that Jagex reads PMod reports very quickly so this matter should be solved quickly. Jagex won't send you a message about it unless they take action on the report. At which time an offence will be added to your 'pillar'. If it turns out the Pmod was wrong (wrong person, taken out of context...there's a whole host of reasons people get reports wrong) nothing will be done in regards to your 'offence pillars' and Jagex will remove the mute (most likely not send you a message).
