Game ticks depend on several things like server lag and population. IIRC they range from .606s to .612s. That would make 5 ticks approx 3.03 - 3.06s. It's a trivial difference, but for tick-counters like the top players, every little bit counts.

Try the Lumbridge Catacombs. The corpse mages andd maybe skoblins are botted, but everything else there should be fine.

CBC's Neil Macdonald wrote an analysis of this that I found pretty interesting (found Here.) Essentially, he draws parallels between Anwar al-Awlaki defecting to Yemen and Luis Posada Carriles defecting to the USA. Both were accused of crimes, but never tried in a court of law. The Jets just signed Mark Scheifele (18) to an entry level contract worth $925,000 plus up to $700,000 in bonuses. I don't know if anyone other than Jets fans know who this kid is, but he had a phenomenal pre-season with 4G 4A in 5 games. From the games that I watched, he's a really talented kid, but I don't know if he'll be able to keep up with the vets in the NHL, he's just too young. What you're refering to is captcha, and yes bots can solve them. Most normal spambots on the internet can't but it's certainly not rare to see ones that solve it. Even Tipit gets a fair number of spambots even though we have captcha. It keeps most of them out, but if someone wants to get in, they'll get in.

A single person hopping from world to world at the GE would be absurdly effective. I'd seriously try this out if I was a P-Mod and got permission. The truth is that a P-Mod hopping world to world is absurdly ineffective. Not only do they come back fast enough that keeping 1 world clear at a time is a 'full time job' but there are other "classified" reasons why it doesn't work. If it worked, it would be done.

Jeez that's dedication. While it takes a lot of dedication not to give up and just switch chat to 'hide', getting that many spambot mutes is NOT hard. Just logging into W7 GE, I can usually get ~30-40 mutes right away and then another 1 or 2 per minute after that as new bots log in / walk from Lumby.

I'm almost certain that RWT-spamming is a perm ban. The problem is that with the ease of account creation, and auto account makers (that will even walk to the GE), it's a losing fight even if they are perm bans.

For the record, he was typing abysmally. 'Asiting' was one of the most accurate spellings of 'assisting' that I saw him type. Someone needs to tell him that typing correctly doesn't waste game ticks any more than using W117 for his daily assist. :wink:

I admit i giggled when someone said 'you'll probably be banned pretty quickly' like does he even play the same game as me? But i don't want to risk it, as small as that risk may be. I appreciate the responses guys. And i wasn't aware a mousekey literally only clicked, i assumed it clicked and then automatically moved a certain distance, which is how people spam it to do things like drop fish. If it's just click the spacebar to do a click, that's pretty pointless, even from an efficiency point of view. Most people do multiple mouse keys together. Essentially if '1' is click and '2' is move mouse down, they'll spam 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2-1, then '3' moves up, '4' moves right, then repeat the spamming of 1 and 2. It's faster than manually clicking and moving the mouse, but still legal as it follows the "one imput = one output" rule.

I know, it's stupid that you can't click 1 button and have a program do everything for you.... :rolleyes:

Jagex standing up to bots? Doubt it. Maybe throw out a couple of the popular ones to make an example of them and then they'd just look the other way and hope no one else does it.

MMG's FC has been closed for a month now, so if it's been said there, it's old news and since I haven't heard of anything being 'confirmed' in this past month, I'll say false.

The problem is that they can't. I tried doing tests for a guide, and I litterally could not get a full load of iron in under 5 minutes, and that was when I was lucky. The F2P game is 'unplayable' by modern definitions (aka efficient). Sure, new players can make their mills by mining iron, then go train on spiders and whatnot until they can boss hunt, but it takes FAR longer to do now because of the bot situation.
