  1. Just checked and it's still up, though they still haven't published the bot that they appearantly got working. Obviously for legal issues.
  2. It seems he smuggled some items out of Daemonhiem, and fed them to his baby troll, causing its name to change to that of the item.
  3. While I've been on the 'side of the law' for this incident, this is absolutely absurd. For the US Attorny to allow so much legitimate user data to be destroyed is beyond me. Not to mention it's still considered evidence, is it not? I don't know if it hurts anyone to allow users to access their own files, in order to save what they may not have backed up.
  4. Did you sell any fish before you put in your buy offer? That's the only thing i can think of that would give you a greater buy amount. If you sell, say 100k fish, then for the next while, your buy limit will also be 100k. I used this during the summer a couple times. Buy yew logs for a week or so while I'm away. Then come back, sell all the logs at once, and have essentially no buy limit to flip with for a few hours.
  5. I suggest using this tool to help. All you need to do is compare the alch price and the price of nats to the GE prices which you can find here. That way, you can find an item with a low enough up front cost that still profits (if one exists). EDIT: Or, you can use this.
  6. Except that stealing a digital copy still results in less income for the creator of the product since people are gaining utility from it without having to pay anything. The primary problem isn't in the people who pirate something where they had no plans on buying it. Rather, the main problem is people who pirate instead of buying it. Often, I'll find myself in the store looking at the movies trying to decide whether to buy one or not. Unfortunately, one of my decision making tools is 'have I downloaded and watched it'. If I've pirated a movie, I am less likely to buy it later even if I had full intentions of doing so pre-pirating. So my pirating does have a direct impact on the income of the makers of that DVD/CD. Just a note: I do have a sizable CD/DVD collection, and I try to buy whenever I can afford it to help support the artists who put a lot of time and effort into making music/movies.
  7. The JMod bot hunts weren't successful because they announced when they were going to happen. When I won an hour with a Jmod from Tipit, I took him bot busting for the first while. It was terribly slow to get them. Even though they were in 'bot gear' with names like 'fryjcehfjnu', he still had to go through plenty of steps to ban them. It's much more efficient to just let the players report bots, send the accused through a program to check, and have a Jmod manually hit the 'ban button' than to have a Jmod do it all.
  8. That update was pretty much two weeks ago and nothing has happened since. My assumption is that, just like filesharing sites after the Megaupload takedown, bot sites are stepping back for a bit and looking over their own structure to see just how suseptable they are to lawsuits.
  9. MU did have a tool like that. The problem lies in the fact that MU only deleted the URL to the content, and not the content its self.
  10. Who else votes for Runefest 2012 at Jagex's newly aquired bachelor pad?
  11. I went there looking for scammers to report, tried it out and it seems to have been patched or something, because you can't drop on that square. If you select drop, it will just move you and you'll keep your item. Not sure if this is all locations, or just the Lumby one.
  12. Forgot to take a pic of level up yesterday. Anyway, all P2P stats = 80, and only one more skill 'till 80+. Will take forever since I'm back to F2P tomorrow, and all I ever do is bankstand. XP waste since I'm already 200m bankstanding.

  14. I remember using crumble undead years ago for some training. It is certainly better than some of the other chaos rune spells out there. However, I think you should include several things in your guide to help people decide whether it's worth using it to train magic. Casts per hour: Cost per hour: Exp per hour: (differentiated by each skill) Kills per hour: Loot: (give the drop table, as well as expected values of drop per hour) If you include these, people can make good informed decisions about whether they want to do combat mage, or skilling magic based on the exp/h values of the skills they're interested in, and the costs associated with them.
  15. In F2P I could get 55k exp/h banking willows at Draynor. I don't know how much better a D axe is than a rune, but even if it's 15% faster, you still only get 63k exp/h which is less than you'll get at ivy. As an alternative to mousekeys, you could try low alching the logs you get (I think people do teaks with this method). I hate dropping, but low alch fishing was actually almost enjoyable. It is pretty expensive now that natures are so high again though.
  16. Awe, alright. Guess I'll just keep wasting cballs (paying 20k per crim right now). Oh well, it's just the price I pay for my compulsive need to keep my levels even 5's and 10's. Thanks, Quy.
  17. I've recently been cannoning black demons to get charms for 80 summoning without any HP exp (want to keep it at 90). If I was to buy the knockout aura, will it finish off the demons? Or do I have to actually attack it myself?
  18. Ah, thanks. I should have known that. Guess I just spend too much time in F2P....
  19. Simple question(s). What is the name of the highlighted stick? And how does one obtain it?

Peanut butter and cheddar cheese. It's SOOO good. It's only that good when it's fresh hutterite cheddar. All of that store bought, mass produced stuff just doesn't have the same flavour. Right now I'm chowing down on a turkey reuben. I fell in love with these when I lived in University Res where they haad it at least once a week in the food hall.
  21. remember that thing about Jagex saying clusterflutter only targetting reflection. Its true. Injection still works and color bots still work. Injection cant be stopped, what Jagex did was make it harder to get the hooks for the bots to work, but its still very possible (it just takes your average person a month or so to get it working). Color bots didnt get touched with this update at all Some of my friends have said that this doessent affect "autoclickers" and "autotalkers" arent they bots as well? If so why aren't they removed as well. My experience with auto typers have been annoying in f2p ge as they just spam there buying some freaking gold stuff. The majority (98% according to Jagex) of bots before the nuke were 'injection' or 'reflection' bots. Essentially, they used a modified version of the Runescape game client to get into the game code its self and bot that way. Clusterflutter affected their ability to affect the game on the code level. Bots that work now like autoclickers, colour bots, and auto talkers don't use the game code at all. If you minimized the RS screen, they would keep clicking/typing on whatever you had open as they don't look for specific item ID's. Jagex has taken a lot more action agaisnt autoclickers, colour, and auto talkers over the last few months, but none as succesful as clusterflutter.
  22. In the scorring portion of the guide, you have the basic formula for score to Brianpoints, but you missed the fact that finishing the game with under 5 minutes (≤4) you get an extra 20 Brianpoints. This can be especially useful if you get a score of ~500 points with nearly 4 minutes left. Simply waiting around for the extra minute, or going to score one more time (if A and B are close) can increase your Brianpoints per hour.
  23. Little glitch that I had. I assume it's from flash powder factory since that's where I was just training. When I clicked it, I moved toward someone like I was about to pcikpoket them but it said "You can not do that here".
  24. Silly RWTers, can`t PM me with my chat off so they have to find me ingame.
