However strangely enough sometimes the house "saves", so to speak, thus the doors will still be opened and if you were fast enough, the burners will be lit for perhaps another half trip. If you were really fast you might manage an entire two trips.

I would have to disagree on that, considering that I don't think the +4 strength makes up for the 20+ loss in defence on stab and crush. It's good for monsters that have low attack and strength thougth :) Well, obviously you're probably not going to be bringing it to a Bandos boss but I've never had any problems with my defence using a torso. I guess it may depend on your defence level, but personally with a defence level of ~86 (can't remember what it is exactly :XD: ) I can easily kill greaters, all dragons below black and pretty much every slayer task that gets thrown at you. That's without Guthans aswell.

Torso is currently the best training body armour in the entire game, so yes it's far better then rune plate. The six pack is awsome too :wink:

Your problem is because you have 4 pieces that aren't right, not 3. Try use This guide, it's old but works as good as it always has.

You should seriously considering buying maples instead they're insanely cheap now with MTK and as an estimate you're probably going to need 40-50k less of them. If you do willows you will be seriously annoyed you didn't do maples instead when you have those 40k-ish willows left to go.

When I was 80ish range I got my crystal bow from 900k recharge to 180k recharge at black dragons so yes it's good there. However you use like 2-3 charges per trip so you might get a bit more back using it on blues or brutals (or greens, dunno how good they are nowadays).

If you consider their level it's not very slow at all. I've tried meleeing and it's slower then ranging as far as a whip or a d long on stab mode goes. The only method that could possibly be faster is using Veracs with mage protect, which I doubt is actually faster and requires you to use food. Yeah, you don't need an anti fire shield if you mage pray and use anti-fire pots. God books are a great substitute or you could use a two handed weapon like a crystal bow. Seeing as your range is much higher then mine and your melee stats are lower it'll be an even bigger diference. Just from quickly counting that it's actually 76 hides (remembering they drop 2 hides and one bone). But you'll probably get a good amount more, my range = 87 and yours is 99. Anyway, I'm pretty sure mine is the only proper guide around, or at least I'm yet to find another. The closest I've found is a few vids on youtube of people killing a single brutal as if it was a mith dragon :P

That's the problem, I'm having trouble finding something new for the rest of the dragons. I'm still making them because you can compare them and choose which is the best for you. Blue dragons are hunted everywhere and I don't know what's happening with green dragons now, with some spots removed for them I've seen them heavily crowded and don't know what spots still exist and which are crowded or not.

I'd personally go 3-5 days after. If you think about it, when summoning gets released everyone will want money to train it. Accordingly they will all sell items that are replacable and worth alot, Sara sword sound similar? :wink: After the initial hype people will slowly bore of it and not be willing to spend as much. That's when they'll start doing normal training again. I predict 3-5 days for the peak of this. So yeah, wait for a large increase in supply but it's harder now with GE because we have to wait for the 5% decrease to slowly do it's work.

I seriously doubt someone has made a list for each and every monster in RuneScape but it's easy to tell what the barrow brothers use, just look and compare. From memory, Guthan uses stab. Torag and Verac crush and Dharok Slash.

With low defence it'd be smarter to pray range. Magic levels (which many pures have) protect you so you want to tak advantage of that. It's either that or get ripped apart by their range attacks.. I don't recall seeing a guide for pures on either truthscape or anywhere else for that matter, so I guess you'll have to get some of the setup by yourself.

You can either hide behind the ladder, use the wall to the west near the obelisk or use the wall south near the zammorak monks (I think they're monks, can't remember that well). Use really should use the evil chicken's lair though, it's very close to bank. Don't forget to bring a antidragon shield for when you run out to grab your hides and bones :wink: (If your unsure on the evil chicken's lair, I'll be releasing a guide on it soon, within 1-2 days :P )

You can definetly use a Karil xbow as a replacement but the amunition is too expensive here (due to it always breaking when shot), you should use good weapon but nothing that is going to negate a large amount of profits you make. As a rough estimate I'd say you might require 200-400 bolt racks per trip which is pretty expensive when compared to the 50-75 addy bolts. Next guide is in the making :)

You say you like hunting mith drags, in that case it's good to keep a set of both karil and d hide. Generally, people melee protect or range protect against mith drags which leaves you vulnerable to mage attacks. When it comes to mith drags you want every def bonus you can get (especially seeing as you have a low defence for hunting high level monsters) so it's good to use there. But for pretty much everywhere else you should use black d hide due to similar stats.

300,000/4 = 75,000. I don't think he would have done 75k damage per trip.. Anyway, I tried this and it worked really slow tbh :? Before you say it's my stats, I'm 87 range and my 83 mage kills the brother much faster then diamond bolts. I'll often only have just enough prayer left to finish karil or perhaps a second's burst of prayer on verac yet normally using just slayer dart I can take out Dharok, Karil, Ahrim and get a burst of prayer on verac without taking a prayer pot. A good idea, the best way to range barrows if you're going to but still far from being up there with slayer dart method. Bolts are pretty costly aswell so the all rune are profit factor isn't as great as it may seem. As per improving the guide, as other people have said bringing a whip or a scim can speeden up your trips and give you more profit from them. dds still works, but time is money and I can't remember the last time I had to use my entire invent of food for a trip so you may aswell.

Define weaker? Lowered max hits on lower level spells. Nope there exactly the same as theyve always been. they go up 1 damage per spell. smoke rush>shadow rush>blood rush:ice rush:smoke burst>shadow burst.........etc etc going up 1 damage each spell. FYI.. The damage goes like this now from weakest to strongest 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 17, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. You can't tell me that ancients was maxing at 13 prior, that's insanely low. You can see the jump which seperates the old high level spells that are unchanged and the nerfed lower level spells. Everything below and including shadow burst are nerfed.

So, are they just drops from any penguin? Zoo and fairy ring island? I haven't seen any threads that actually confirmed them :?

Why can't you do it yourself? Just put it in paint, select the top right button called "select" which on my computer looks like a rectangle drawn with dots and drag it over what you want people to see. Obviously you already know how to host.. Nice picture anyway :wink:

Nice find, but people are ranked in this right now so how can it be summoning? Beta testers or something? Don't think they'd go in there though. Weird. Unless I'm missing something :-k

I'd just sell them, they still sell for alot of cash and if you're going to train with chins you should go to multicombat areas where you need prayer potions. Using prayer potions with normal chins = waste. If you want to just stuff around with them in places like PC go ahead, it's fun but you ruin profits :)

I've shortened and corrected a few things so it doesn't get too boring when reading through the entire guide, thanks mario :) Additionally, I've thrown in a few animated GIFs in there for the heck of it, replacing the old dragon attack pictures. Thanks for the input, I was confused for like 5mins thinking you were talking about brutals :lol: Blue dragons are indeed extremely good if you're alone, but then again I can't recall the last time I saw the place without seeing another 3-5 people there. Unfortunately I can't use the agil shortcut (as I'd imagine majority wouldn't) so I'd rather be in the enclave, which could very much so be even slower (though probably not slower if you can't use the shortcut. I'll have to look into that when I get around to blue dragons).

They're used for barbarian pyre ships, just next to the whirlpool. Along with the chance of getting a d full helm after killing the spirit that comes up, the next 10 bones you bury you will recieve 3 times the exp, I believe. Very much so worth keeping and using.

I'm pretty sure you have to do all his tasks except for the pyre ships, so do the herblore and fishing ones aswell and try it then, maybe? :-k
