KBD and Dragon Med made F2P?
Where was stated that if you release 1 item, all items of that type should be released?! They don't have all the treasure trail items right? (Golden Rune set as an example?) I hardly ever see someone with a dragon medium helmet anymore. There are hands full of better alternatives for members. Heck, D meds are considered 'noob' items nowadays unless it comes with an entire dragon set. It is hardly worth it to kill the KBD at this time, only for crimson charms / black d hide / d bones and the odd loot. Heck, a shot at visage perhaps. I got a d med drop once and wasn't even happy with it?! Just another 50k. Would it be worth it to JUST release the D med to F2P? It would make it worth more for MEMBERS! Actually good for our economy.

KBD and Dragon Med made F2P?
So perhaps an interesting suggesting, but what about an F2P only boss? I was thinking something along the lines of the mother daganoth system. Requiring multiple attack styles and spells. Make it a team effort with a maximum amount of players in the room? (perhaps a first taste of instancing) Making it F2P only, will require members to go in there with only F2P items on (possible on P2P server, to give members benefit of more worlds). Members have the advantage of higher stats as members have an easier way of training these stats. Especially in combat! Then release attack and defense potions (the normal ones) together with anti poisons and make the boss poisonable. Create a boss that is capable of actually killing you! By making it a team effort to put down a mother daganoth type of creature ;) you've got yourself an old idea in a new jacket. Final: give the boss an unique drop, mostly usefull for F2P. Perhaps sums of raw materials and an actual strenght/ranged/mage boosting cape. An all-round cape, nothing stronger then members capes (not +10 bonusses) but enough to make an incentive to use it in F2P. (+3/5 in ranged, mage and melee attack, not strenght)

Void Mage Helm - worth getting?
Things I can think of are indeed barrows, but what about maging TDs? I know it is a bit unorthodox.. but hell :) Just another way to kill them right? Seeing magic is pretty precise and deadly now in PvE with all these updates, I can see people doing this. From my knowledge, void is slightly worse then Ahrim, but then again.. it doesn't bring any repair costs ;) Ahrim is better tough in my opinion. Basicly: if you need mage + another style of attack, then void is the ideal way. Seeing you don't need an entire set of robes with you to be able to do good magic damage.

-Fast and Easy Money from Level 1 Clues- [Version 2.1]
Perhaps change the HAM cape by a Ardougne cape (hard task or elite tasks done). They lower chances to get caught to ! Plus free teleport item.

19-Jan-2010 - Barbarian Assault Improvements
I am really curious about the following few things: New Penance trident weapon. Prayer restoring set bonus. Sounds like a new competition for the zamorak spear, aka Stab damage! Tridents are 2-handed I assume. Prayer restoring set bonus, most likely won't be a lot of restoring. But combined with the soul wars cape and fury/stole. That could end up being a lot of prayer time for 0 cost. Love it! Might become extremely usefull in the future!

This can be very profitable. Tough few people actually do this, for a good reason. It is hardly worth the money if you don't use the stuff. Mature dwarven stouts are worth some and chef's delight is used in houses (construction kitchen). Most worth is the greenman's ale (m). The others aren''t worth that much. Again, GE decides what is more efficient. A complete guide on brewing: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=cooking_guide.htm#brew Current price: Chef's delight (m) 9,709 Chef's delight 4,095 That is more then double the profit (aprox 78k compared to 32k) the profit if you use the stuff. Dwarven stout (m) 7,741 -> Worth nothing when normal. But if you really want profit: Greenman's ale (m) 30.3k (yes :P you read that right, a mature brewing (8 glasses) is 240k !! The normal ones aren't worth much. Also Axeman's folly (m) 10.2k, which isn't bad :) but the normal version is hardly worth it.

Wilderness Hill
Wasn't the statue already there before The Old Nite passed away? Yeah, it was, long before. I always thought it was there to represent one of the Gods or their children. I remember when I used to go pking with friends we'd always pray in front of it *memories* *goes out to look at his old pictures of runescape classis in search for the statue* Why isn't there any record on it? I am sure someone/something mentioned it once in the game?

Wilderness Hill
It was I believe a statue of either The Old Nite (famous back in the days), but for some reason my mind tickles when I think of Mahjarrat? Wasn't it mentioned in some quest or by someone? Great question :)

Which logs sell best at the Grand Exchange?
Well for starters, oaks are used in construction. But normal logs sell really well. If you are looking for easy cash.. well woodcutting isn't so profitable as you may think ;)

What the hell mintcakes?
Could have been the Mjolnir. But I think (and that is the problem) that a lot of people do not realize how to get these mint cakes or even remember ever having one. The Mjolnir is something you can actually see and get (each person can get 1 I believe from a quest?). The Mint Cake isn't something you can see people wielding. Much like the easter egg / pumpkin / half wine. There lies the mystery I assume. As for the nutcase who says everything revolves around 1 item in real life. Perhaps you can think of oil :P but sure as hell, oil has a purpose and therefor a price. Mint cakes do not have a purpose and do not have a price. (yes, the GE price). The Street price however isn't set in stone. Some say 3m, some say 10m, heck some say 50k.. If you remove mint cakes like right now, nothing would happen other then riots, because there were some idiots that thought they would have been a good investment. .. Same thing happened to water vial investors (when vial packs came) or when Jagex decided to change prices themselves (limpwurts anyone?) No panic involved. Just more people ranting. Rawrrr

Snape Grass Bots @ Waterbirth.
RWT due to botting is my guess Here is how I think it works: This is a quick way to get money from bot A to bot B. Snapegrass can yield a HUGE sum of money if you do it efficiently (I know this, I wrote a guide on it lol). By picking this snapegrass, they can quickly get money from the level 3 to the level 66. The level 66 can be a player that purchased the money and thanks to this bot, he can receive the money over the course of the evening (or several), on his off-hours. Because he actually training a skill or anything and is on a deserted location (how many people spend time there?), it is less likely he is getting caught perhaps? (seeing the bot is only walking / picking things up / trading?) O well, it deserves reporting :D

I don't wish to be a pain in the [wagon], but the effectiveness of each shop added is lower and lower. Getting a few hundred feathers is hardly profitable I'd say (I could be dead wrong). Perhaps it is wise to mention certain things on a sidenote as optional and to keep an efficient route as mainguide? Put an average profit next to certain parts in the guide? Like picking papaya is 4x (aprox) 1800 = 7200gp. Just put a line with Profit for this part: 7200gp. That way people can efficiently decide which they do and don't.

KBD and Dragon Med made F2P?
I must say, I don't mind this idea. But I would like a few conditions. We can make the lowest level potions F2P to use. Just like strenght potion. This would give (and that is nice) low potions an actual price. Not immediate losses. With these low level pots (att/str/def/antipoison) they can kill the KBD with a team. For F2P it will be hardly worth it to kill this dragon, since it well.. shreds through any group of F2P'ers. In P2P, we can solo this big guy, in F2P it will require 4 people at minimum to kill it. It won't give them big profits. You can give it an F2P loot table, nothing to fancy. Just like any mob has an F2P and P2P loottable. The dragonmed should be F2P. I hardly see anyone walking around with a draogn med. Actually the dragon med was my first dragon drop and I didn't even feel proud of it. It is .. 70k *woohoo*. Give it to F2P'ers. They are happy with it, good for them :) It won't make them much if any profit. And P2P'ers can still destroy him for nice profits (solo).

IS this a decent way to level herblore??
Let's just say I don't play WoW anymore and hardly any RS due to this ;) So, I can't stress it enough to listen to I_r_slayer. RSI comes when you least expect it sadly.. Once you get it, it is hard to get rid of

IS this a decent way to level herblore??
Calculation done: 15 swamp tar + 1 harralander = 15 harralander tar 107gp = Harralander tar each --> 15 * 107 = 1605gp sell value per 15 harralander tar Cost: 15 tar = 143 ea = 2145gp 1 harralander = 1129gp for a grimy harralander Total cost: 3274gp Revenue - Cost = 1605 - 3274 = - 1669gp Exp. gained: 6.3xp from cleaning, 72,5xp from making tar Total exp = 78,8xp Cost / exp = 21,18 gp / exp Does that answer your question? :P

Tortoise killing for xp?
Well , I have little experience on them, but that doesn't change much. But there is a different kind of tortoise which I do have experience on. http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=1020 These warped suckers tend to be a nice way to mix cash / experience. They are best at neither, not the best money, not the best experience and some people tend to find them anoying to kill. Tough they are worth it. I remember someone having writen some guide on them, but it wasn't much special. In the sewers (easily reachable by spirit tree after the quest), the first room has a few turtles. Bring some easy food and you can pick up most of what they drop. Bring a BoB to carry extra. Teleport to edgeville when you are filled. From there, get back to the spirit tree for a new trip. Edgeville > GE, because GE doesn't allow familiars. You can reach the spirit tree with a familiar tough

Gnome Resteraunt Guide 0.1
I'd love to but can't right now. Not member at this moment. I'll have a look into it when I do become member. But I remember most of the game. I don't prepare food on forehand, but this could be well worth it. Seeing cooking every item like 10 times or so is quite easy. Big tip tough is to gather Toad legs and king worms on forehand. Walking outside and getting aprox 10 each time is just a hassle. Get 3-4 inventories and bank them. Personally, I can easily do 8 tasks per hour. You get 11 minutes per hard task, but the cooking is the longest part. There are only a few targets which need some actual traveling. The others are always close to transport points.

Gnome Resteraunt Guide 0.1
Definitly post your guide to then. I am personally quite good on the subject but I'm always up for some tips. I've done quite some rounds myself pre-summoning, so I am more then curious what familiars are best to use now and which items you recommend to bring. It is a very fast minigame and well, the rewards are semi-nice :D especially with the whole mint-thing going on.

Mint Cakes
Thanks Stonewall for clearing it up to me :) Makes sense if you put it that way. From an economic point of view ofcourse it doesn't but heck :D It would be actually worth doing Gnome Cuisine (I am quite good at it). Knew I would have it all wrong. I wonder who on earth came up with this idea and who is the sucker to fall for it? Anyone here yet that sells their rising items for cash + mint cakes? What is your personal reason to accept mint cakes over hard cash?

Mint Cakes
I am seeing this completely wrong, I am sure. But I don't see the big thing around mint cakes. So basicly the Mint Cake is extreme rising junk? And therefor better then the rest of the junk? Expecting profit from holding on to mints? Isn't this exactly what has been done by manipulation clans? Isn't there a point in which these WILL drop. no wait, not drop. CRASH. With 25k, you won't lose out on much. If this trend continues (and most likely will) they will reach 100k? Perhaps 200k? What will be the point where people won't invest heavily in this? When is the point where some merchanter out there says, hey nice dump price? The only difference between this and manipulation clans is that this is done with a junk item and it is widely used. Your risk, not mine :)

Daily Activities
Don't forget to bring your falador 3 shield for the extra farming experience ;) Always that bit of extra. Also great to recharge prayer with at bork or that vine. Most don't use the prayer recharge daily anyway. The pineapples / seaweed don't require karamaja gloves 3 (I believe someone up there stated that) and are currently also noted. Karamaja gloves 3 -> Shilo slayer master + fishing store --> cart to brimhaven (fruit tree spot there, place for coconuts) charter to catherby. Fruit tree / farming spot. Then flax and off to the next spot by teleport. Perhaps an option.
