Adding something missing to magic, and more?
With all do respect, I highly doubt it. This has no chance on earth do be a seperate skill. It would be an addition to magic perhaps but even that would be highly unlikely. A background update on magic. Gaining extra damage on levels, just like slayer dart? Even if this would indeed balance, how would you train it? Like archeology, nahh.. Then it would be just archeology... Also a bit of trolling but don't we all know (hide tags) [hide] P2P & F2P -> entire runescape -> runescape has water -> water has boats -> OMG SAILING !! PZOMG LOLZORBBQ![/hide]

Mining in mining guild: xp per hour rate
F2P mining guild isn't as proftiable. Seeing it is more crowded. If you can superheat, you might want to consider the Lumbridge Mine or even better, the Hobgoblin mine (tough Renevants are an absolute pain). If you are looking for experience and cash at the same time, your far better of mining iron and banking it. Iron is almost worth as much as coal and you can get it a lot faster. (Personally I don't see why one would mine coal in F2P)

Moneymaking with little/nothing to start with
Fishing lobsters in the fishing guild could give you aprox 200k/h Fishing swordfish gives approximatie the same, seeing you catch tuna aswell, which isn't worth that much. Mining coal with coal being 220+ now, is only efficient if you use the Coal Veins in the Living Rock Cave (70 mining..) Mining iron can be very profitable, with iron being 200 gp/ea , you can easily get 250k / h Thieving seeds is hardly 100k/h unless your lucky. (great way to train thieving tough) Cutting Yews is close to 80-100k /h Runecrafting waters is hardly worth it. There are far better runes to craft. Natures at 44, Double cosmics, Astral runes etc. Runecrafting can easily earn 300k /h Mining pure essence (perhaps use pouches here to) is nice money. With 60 mage, use the magic guild to do this. Aprox 200k/h aswell Flax isn't that profitable. A big favorite of mine is Enchanting Orbs. Air orbs are worth quite a lot and aren't that hard to enchant. Look it up on how to make them. Make sure you have glory's and perhaps make your own runes. (or just make air battlestaves from scratch and alch them)

Getting the Most out of runescape daily/weekly.
A few ones: Perhaps add herb rounds for farming. They are profitable, can be done often and heck :) They are a great diversion. Ardougne cape now allows you to get free Pure Essence daily, perhaps add that. MTK is now by distance more profitable with herbs etc. Perhaps change it. Or just note that prices change over time and just look at other guides for the most efficient one. I simply love this guide :D

Mobilizing Armies Locator Index
I must say, this is an amazing guide. Beautiful lay-out and great information. You really placed a lot of effort into this. What concerns me is, although some spots are great. How reliable is it? You can't really decide which spawn you get to can you? From your own experience, for which resource do you think it is most usefull? I'd personally say for high end ores and logs? Anyway, AOW guide!

Guide to Agility (WIP) Help wanted
For me personal, the guide hasn't shown me anything new. A few things I would personally like to see from a awesome agility guide: Pictures of each course perhaps? (how to get there, a small map or description of how to get there easily) Explain which shortcuts are very usefull and why it would be worth to work towards that agility level? Perhaps take pictures of great inventories. You states trouts / salmon is great food. Try baskets of strawberries. They pack a lot of health in a single inventory slot and heal small portions of health, so you can keep low health. Cheap food and a reason to farm strawberries, they are definitely worth it. Perhaps explain the Werewolve course once to people. From my own experience, a ton of people skip this course, never to have seen it. (getting anoying so many advices eh?) Also, you could use foragers on every course can't you? Just take pouches / summoning potion. And last but not least: Action pictures of DA MATRIX !!! (if you train agility, you know what I mean!)

money makeing help
With your stats not anytime soon (think 110 cmb+) I'd say, try the following topics: http://forum.tip.it/topic/253896-make-220k-in-6-mins-100-real/ http://forum.tip.it/topic/250172-buying-from-shops-profit-guide/ Also in Beginning guides / General guides there is plenty of information to get rich quickly.

Green Dragons
It takes like what, 1 minute to bank at BH and run back to the tunnels? You're giving up X * 1766 GP per invent, depending on your load out. You should definitely reconsider. Tough I can't give you exact answers on how many you can kill seeing it has been quite a while since I done it. But you can usually 6-8 hit a dragon. Traveling takes a solid 90-100 seconds. I recon you can kill quite a few. Do collect the hides and sell them to buy more bones. It is going to be a slow experience if you take just the bones. Your better of doing zogre coffins in that case.

Manage Thy Kingdom - Earn 100k a day!
Well, I got a HUGE flaw in your guide I don't know where you did these calculations, but there isn't a herb cheaper then 177 gold per herb. I sincerely doubt that the average price of herbs > tarromin would be 177 gold per herb. Do your math again. Also, you didn't even include herbs in the later calculations. You completely ignored it.. and to think that 10 on herbs is currently giving you the most profit. Do your math again, then adjust it ;) then we talk. EDIT: http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/results.ws?query=grimy&price=all&members= There you go, all the grimy herb prices.

Fastest Way to 70 rc??
ZMI and Steam runes are the fastest exp possible. If you don't have the required magic level (78?), don't bother with ZMI. Same goes for Steam, as you require a lunar spell for this. If so, Law runes / Death runes through abbys is the quickest, simplest method. (Deaths after 65, if you completed MEP2). Nature runes are a bit better money, but less experience (chance to double). Also, if you complete WGS, you get nice lamps which are great to use on RC!

Waterfiends different method?
Well, I came back after a long absence. Waterfiends were and I believe still are a great source for Crimson Charms. Everybody always does it with ranged prayer and mage-defense gear. Altough this is uncommon, has anyone ever tested going in with mage prayer and granite gear against the ranged attacks? Yours sincerely, David van Kasteren

Rocktail + unicorn Q's
Used as food to restore 23 hitpoints once eaten. It can also boost a player's HP by as much as 10 points above the level. (http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=8927) They work just like a saramodin brew. They heal you, but if your health is at the max, it may go over that. If you eat a rocktail at maximum health, you will end up with +10 health over your level. Ex: If you have 80 hitpoints. You get struck for 10 damage. You then eat a rocktail, you will end up with 90 health.

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Looks like a nicely balanced new prayer book. Tough they will drain prayer quickly, we are talking about 70+ prayers here. For the highest levels only. Love to see the effect in PvP, but the most interesting would be the PvE. Wasn't it thanks to stat-draining that a boss was defeated, once thought never to be soloed? (Eg some big bad beast in some cave). These stat-drains will have a mayor affect on these monsters. Deflecting 60% of the damage is just nice! Getting hit for 200 damage on a boss means you have to do 120 less damage yourself! Huge on bosses that actually hurt you. GWD will become much more enjoyable now ;)

Drop Rates
The weirdest part is, we don't have drop logs about monsters. We can get thousands of entries every day. After a month we can come up with reasonable droplogs. Isn't there something usefull that could be coded to create these drop logs? If you can get a reasonable guess of what the chance would be to get nature runes from moss giants, you could come up with a 'calculated guess' of how much Moss Giants could earn (for example). Great for max/min. It is weird that we don't have this ;) To think that WoW has reasonable logs quite quickly, Runescape hasn't got it, with mobs being older then 3-4 years.

J3benice12's Guide for Barrows v3.2 - AOW
First off: My respect for this guide. It is immense. It is worked out. It is correct. Cheaper methods used less demanding gear (rune glove example, caught my eye aswell) Some things in here that I haven't seen before, which I simply love. Altough you cannot show people what the profits are, can you show them what the expected costs are of each method? For example, black salamander has high cost. Ancients even higher costs. Veracing is one of the cheapest methods, using about 10k in supplies per trip. That is something I would love to see. The only thing I am missing is a guthan method, but personally I don't even like that method and there are several guides on that already. Lay-out of the guide is perfect. Tough the 1-thing I am missing is some pro's/con's towards the different methods. Riskier / more expensive / easier or harder, etc. Also I wouldn't mind some additional information of what to pay attention to in each method. Or even a set of basic-information. Like don't forget your spade ;) All in all, one of the best guides I have seen in a while! AOW worthy

3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
Don't worry -- they'll dip again eventually. But if you want one to keep, you might as well go ahead and buy it -- you won't be sorry in the long run. 2 reasons prices drop: - Someone gets back in the game after a period and sells them (extra demand) - People start to sell them, A LOT OF THEM! 3 reasons prices rise: - More people getting rich due to more people reaching higher levels, causing extra demand. - Inflation causing price risings - The ever increase of ways to make money. - More players entering the game Reason for prices to drop are incidental. Reasons for prices to rise are long-term and forever to be there. So as an investment, they are worth it!

Merchanting mistake or score?
He's not as rich as the rest of us ;) Other then that, wrong forum, but good luck. Wait till its merched lol. Else, your screwed. Just sell them back to GE. Don't expect a sudden rise Economics for dummies :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :ugeek:

Vyrewatch Guide
It is a extremely complete guide. I say, a few changes here and there. I believe there is an enormous droplog out here on the forums somewhere with 500+ drops and proper ratio's. I could have a look if I can come across it. If so, most definitly add it. In my opinion, when you got this finished, it is most certainly AOW-worthy. Great subject, nothing on tip.it about it. Keep up the great work =D> Sad to say: general guides -> viewtopic.php?f=180&t=746954 Perhaps contact that person for the droplog? Or discuss a mixture of your guides for AOW purposes?

Mining.
Another variation. In previous runescape classic, we even had hard rocks and soft rocks. Giving fatique on a different rate. Even that update changed all the prices. If it were like woodcutting, prices would drop at a rate you cannot imagine. It is a hard skill, lets keep it that way.

Brainymidget's Dagannoth Kings Guide
You have the stats to last 1.5 hours upwards in my opinion. Take a war tortoise to start with, a bunyip or fruit bat afterwards. You should be using charge with claws of guthix for some nice efficiency. As always with verac, I suggest you take hybrids, since you will have less spyns on you in that case. With your stats, you are very suited to verac mage.

How nice is "too nice"?
So in your book, care for grammar and education is directly proportional to how high someone is placed in your hierarchical scale of worthiness. Good sir, that is not charity. What [bleep]erkid tries to state here is that he will not help people that are to lazy to properly ask for it. If people start to talk in internet-slang, I tend to ignore them aswell. If a person chats in complete sentences, this shows me the person is capable of finding things out. Chatting in complete sentences points towards being educated or at least, not being lazy. Personally it gives me the feeling the person is capable of understanding things and is actually looking for advice, more then items. For myself, I will help people when I get the feeling they want and need the help. Help is never given out in terms of expensive items. Small items, like a spade at farming for example, are definitly things I like to hand out. Other then that I firmly believe in the earlier mentioned: 'Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man how to fish and he can eat for a lifetime' (Don't know the correct english version, this is a rough translation from the dutch-version')
