The ladder spots are fixed in every room, and only 1 of these appear visible to you when you enter the tunnel. To the game, there is a major difference between Not existent and not visible, this is a case where the above holds. The ladder, regardless of whether it is visible to you or not, will still be there in the game, and because its there, it is impassible, hence being able to be used as a safe spot. It is merely a game mechanic, and if one really want to fix it, the only way to make it is to make the barrows tunnel exclusive to every person, and considering the popularity of the minigame, will put a heavy load on the server. Making the ladder passable will create more problems as people will start reporting barrow brothers appearing inside ladders as bugs.

That statement is incorrect, it will increase the CHANCE of getting bloods and bolt racks runes you get (like you have the chance of getting bloods) but it will not increase the amount of runes you get (you will still only get 120-130 chaos runes per drop, regardless of 6kc or 60). Again, the effect of kc diminishes after about 10kc.

Just incase if this wasnt mentioned in the previous posts Mage (and ranged as well) will only increase your combat level if your mage level *1.5 is higher than Attack and Strength combined. So if you have 80 maged, having 50 atk and 50 str would make you mage based, but not if you have 70 atk and 70 str.

Its all up to luck whether how much you buy raws and sell cooked, but I personally bought and sold the lobsters at 200ea before the cape, and that was about 12k lobsters then i bought 30k sharks for 500ea and sold them for 480ea, thats 600k loss for 6m xp, 10xp per gp. I was lucky, but it should cost about 4xp per gp to get about 99 cooking from 90's onwards

you can never get through that door, the undead monkeys ppl has been talking about is that really long dungeon just outside gates, there is an area with many many undead skeleton apes you can train on with prayer

1 More thing: The Lady of waves ship requires you to buy a ticket. That ticket seller is above the fishing shop in shilo. Climg the ladder and he should be in plain sight. You do NOT have to walk over the bridge to Duradel, he is never on that side of teh world

It really depends whether you can devote your attention to a specific skill long enough or not. Like would you prefer to do 1 level at a time per skill or would like to get a high level at a time, training specifically only that skill. You can also find a mix and match, I do that myself. Devote to some skills for a while, then do many skills at a time

Remember the rule of Innocent until proven Guilty, unless you reveal that your username is your phone number or credit card number, than no1 on earth is gonna guess that is gonna be a phone number, and besides, you dont EVEN know what COUNTRY they are in, so what good to anyone is a string of seemingly random number, so no1 will notice, neither will jagex prove that it is your phone number unless you explicitly state that it is your phone number. Also, some people are much more used to remembering patterns and numbers than actual words, so having a number will actually let them memorise it better (and which could COINCIDENTALLY be a phone number, but that is rather rare)

go for the second one, but switch out rune kite for zammy book, or book of balance to lower that mage penalty. wear seer's ring if you can afford it, if not, Zaff's ring that was given to you if you completed the What lies below quest.

there are still uses for it, smelting runite ores being one of them. You can only smelt 3 bars per furnace trip, and you smelt that many in the same inv if you super heated, so it is much faster.

Verac is the only one i have doubts over, other than that, all the max hits looks fine to me. For those wondering about the inaccuracies: The Creature's Max hit is their NATURAL max hit when they to hit you with their WEAPON, Dharok hits 29 with his axe at full hp, and thats his NATURAL max with the weapon, any higher number is result of the EFFECTS of the set they are wearing, so it would be higher, but the natural mix remains the same. For Ahrim, its the damage he would do with his staff, but he isnt using his staff to hit people with, so thats not the max ppl see it either.

not really, it is rather tedious to change spellbook when you are being preoccupied with the victim in question hitting you, though it does open versatility of lunar having temporary spells

Then that chenw isnt a smart cookie, because you get the same exp for abyssals in the abyss as you get in the slayer tower........ :roll: according to a 85 slayer from this forum, and i trust her answer, is that you get 1/4 melee xp in the abyss, regardless of what you are fighting, you only get full one in the slayer tower

The real abyss only offers 1/4 xp. The fairy ring abyss offers full xp. Also, the trick to get Abby Demon assignments every other time no longer works. Strange... I thought i was still getting 1/4 xp while i was in that abyss... must not apply to abby demons then...

Duradel NPC has untrimmed Slayer Cape 2 weeks ago when i checked it, out of all 250+ Slayer capes, NONE of them are untrimmed (all of them had 99 in all melee stats, except 1, which had 99/66/99), and I highly doubt there EVER was one, considering that all their melee stat xp was well over even level 100 (14.3m) One way to achieve 99 slayer without risk of getting a 99 in any skill is, once you reach lv 85 slayer (with as much cannon usage as possible as well as ring of recoil), you do NOTHING but Abyssal demon tasks, and ONLY kill them in the fairy ring abyss. That abyss reduces all xp from damage to 1/4 (does not reduce the spell's base xp, but still quarters the the spells bonus xp due to damage inflicted) except (as far as i am aware) the slayer xp you get from killing the monster, thus you will gain as much melee xp as you would with slayer (1xp per hp) so you dont have to worry about HP or any melee combat skills go over 99. However this can be pain staking trying to get Abyss demon tasks unless the Chaeldar trick still work (still a lot of work)

1. Safe spot doesnt work in Crypts, only in tunnels, which is time consuming if you are doing it for all brothers. 2. You do not need to pray on Torag or Guthan, as they barely hit. To be sure though, you may consider buying Guthan plate and Verac skirt, both are cheap (500k a piece) and excellent protection (skirt even has a substantial prayer bonus)

From what i know: Crystal bow's pros: - Cheaper than Karil's bow, even at 900k recharge (its 360 per shot at that charge, Bolt racks can go up to 400ea, but no cheaper than 300ea) - Better investment overall - Better Ranged bonus than Karil's bow until 5/10 bow - Better Damage than Karil's bow until 2/10 bow Cons: - Slower than Karil's bow - Need to degrade a bow fully to recharge it Karil's Bow pros: - Bolt Racks can be gathered via barrowing, although this may be slow. - Faster than C bow - Easier to use than C Bow (c bow requires the completion of a quest that has requirement of some rather annoying quests before hand) - Damage does not degrade, but it is already a good bit lower than C bow Cons: - VERY expensive over time (much more than crystal bow. C bow gets cheaper, bolt racks gets more expensive) - Requires repair, which adds to the maintainence of the Bow - Less damage - Not as cool looking :P

Mystic does absolutely nothing in barrows, you may was well go naked and achieve the same effects. Mage Bonus only makes the spells more accurate, not hit harder (thats the spell's damage, which attack bonus has nothing to do with), which barrow brothers (bar Ahrim, but including Karil) have a horrible mage defence, so you are increasing an already very high chance of hitting. Prayer gear such as monk robes or proselyte is good, but just try not to let your mage bonus fall below -15 (depending on your mage level, but a good estimate)

You dont lose your items in either the Fight Caves or the fight pits, the Cash lost you speak of is indeed the cash spent in the supplies that were used in the unsuccessful attempt at the fight caves. Fight pits are pvp, and is fully safe and you do not lose anything but the expendible supplies like Potions, food etc if you have used them

Use the Meyerditch key on the key ring, you can put it on there now, 1 more space. get a few more rune defenders and get rid of the addy one Unless you really like the robes, get rid of the eldinis robe, you can reclaim it from the cupboard in the temple in Nardah get rid of the serums, strength pots and the recylims balm (but NOT before you give it to Uglug, if you give him or gave him one, he will have the balms in stock)
