  1. So really what you're saying here is that you know nothing about Korasi's sword, so you're going to make stuff up that contradicts me? Yeah, chaotic kite doesn't soak it according to a couple people I've asked about it, whereas eagle/farseer do. I'm also like 99% sure it doesn't give anything but mage and hp exp. It is a MAGIC ATTACK in all ways that matter for combat. Edit: to the above post, no, because all armor is getting updated at the same time. It's unlikely that any armor will rise because they'll all be about where they already were relative to each other.
  2. I don't think we have 100% confirmation about the spec being 100% magic based so there is still a good chance melee soak will reduce it. Other than that, only mage armor will have significant melee soak and claws are affected very little by this update, so i don't think KS spec will be much better, if at all. AGS spec will be much worse, that's for sure. We absolutely know it's 100% magic based. It gives magic exp. It doesn't hit TDs praying mage, and does hit TDs praying melee. It does no damage to cyclopes (who have a 100% immunity to ranged and magic). It's reduced by magic prayer and farseer/eagle eye shields. What else do you want?
  3. Lol, ironically enough, Korasi will probably just become even better, comparatively. Presumably full rune/barrows/bandos won't get a magic damage soak, so it's either switch to d'hide or take the full force of Korasi specs.
  4. Is this a joke? Let's wait until Jagex can consistently come out with updates that don't come packaged with obvious, stupid glitches, and then we can look at whether it might be fun for them to do more. At the moment, the less they do, the better. They aren't competent enough to handle what's already on their plate.
  5. I'd do it if I had the spare cash and nothing better to do with it, but I'd then sell it as soon as it hits max on the GE again (which it's pretty much guaranteed to do in the next few weeks). Ely was shaky before this BTS came out, and it's been long overdue for settling in the GE price. That'll happen regardless of how the soaking update turns out for Ely and Divine.
  6. AGS has been dead for a long time, this'll just be that last little push that makes idiots in BH stop using them. They're going to fully suck now.
  7. wat. This post is seriously one of the weirdest things I've read in a while.
  8. Aw damnit, knew that was gonna happen. Intended to merch them but waited too long. They'll crash again in 2-3 days  Yeah I know, I'm just not sure if they'll get bought out again or as hard after that.

  10. Should be using: Scentless pots Zammy pots Arctic bear So that video doesn't really show draconics at their best. just linked it to show what sort of xp/h rates are easily obtainable with them. I only just got 99 hunt a few days ago, and haven't bothered doing a video of them myself yet. Oh I know, I'm not trying to insult the video you found, I'm just providing information so people know that rather than that being the top possible performance, it's actually fairly non-ideal.

  12. That's kind of the thing, though- nobody who's left the basement in the last several months is going to think "level 99 party animal" is anything but the worst thing they have ever considered wearing.
  13. This. You can attack with other styles, they just do no damage. Still fine for getting its attention.
  14. Jagex stated in the KB for months that dungeoneering shields reduced "up to 20/10%," and we saw how that worked out. I wouldn't hold your breath.
  15. Yeah, because everyone is falling over themselves to risk hybrid gear and fight hybrids when the drops have nothing to do with what your opponent loses anyway. More effective for everyone if you turn it into a full rune, whip and DDS luckfest. Note: I hate dangerous PvP, but the way players do it makes a lot of sense given the current system.
  16. Ah, but with these we're paying Jagex for the privilege of advertising for them.
  17. looks like a retextured flameburst defender kinda lame Jagex didn't bother taking the extra step there =\ looks like cyclossus has a special attack that knocks you back and stuns you tho. LOL and then while you're stunned someone else can jack your kill! This is going to be so much fun on the first day.
  18. That does not look like a challenging monster to me. Of course, it could just look deceptively puny, but when I see unarmed unarmored giant thing I think soft and squishy. Here's hoping that it's at least a moderate challenge rather than being just as farmable as a rune defender... The dragon defender looks like a teeny tiny d2h lol.
  19. I'm not sure I've ever seen a shirt that screams pathetic like the lvl 99 party animal ones. Jesus.
  20. I like to train RC by soloing TDs and using effigy lamps on it. At my level that's ~38k exp/lamp, which is like 25k exp/hour, but your mileage my vary. It's much slower than traditional training but since the cash alone makes it worth going there, it's not as depressing.
  21. If you're high enough to do blood runes as well, I recommend going into whichever portal you end up closest to rather than running all the way around. The profit for the two is pretty close, bloods are better exp, and you save a good 10 seconds on the runs where you end up opposite of the death altar and directly next to the blood altar.
  22. Find friend who also wants a deflector Beat them until 1250 rank Buy a deflector or two or three Let them beat you until 1250 rank They buy a deflector or two or three ??? Profit!
  23. Yeaah, I used to do miths with full Verac's. Good times. However, I speak from personal experience when I say never to attempt this at bronze/iron/steel dragons. See, if you stand away from one while it attacks you (like, say, you want to pick up a drop) it WILL, 100% of the time, breathe on you, and with only normal antifire pots that maxes at well over 200. It hurts a lot. The reason you can get away with it at miths is the spread out spawns and their ability to mage and range at a distance as well as use fire. I suppose you could bring ZS and a shield to switch to between kills, but for all that effort Korasi isn't far behind and is much safer.
