  1. You don't know what "formula" means, do you?
  2. Weird. Do you have 2 bedrooms still?
  3. At your level. Somebody with 80ish in all combats has more trouble, especially when not using a guide. But it's nowhere near Nomad, more like the balance elemental, in difficulty, true. I did it in void. Defilers hit tons on void -.-. Ah well it suited the theme. Stats matter little because after a while the archers and knights do the boss for you.
  4. Spec when the screen shakes, kill defilers, and camp the queen. That is literally all you have to do. The fight is pathetically easy.
  5. Even before the December BTS, Ely was buyable at max after a couple hour wait. It was certainly on its way to a crash, the BTS just sped things up. That said, it'll probably bounce between junk and rising for a few weeks before settling on a slow decline.
  6. Yeah, I also once got around like 18% on one of those dungeons with hardly any GDs and a team that knew how to deal with that. Min is likely either 20 or 25.
  7. I was one of the PKers on the top floor of the Warrior's Guild, where it's single. Funny thing is, I was using far superior gear today than what I normally do. Ahrim's, SoL, Mages' Book....to...Torso, Tassets, Korasi's, and Dragon Defender (for spec). This brings up the point of "you were using piety instead of turmoil, that's 7% less strength bonus," but I've been using Korasi's lately in PvP/BH, and it hasn't hit close to the 600's it used to, like on release day. A few other PKers I know have said the same thing, while others haven't noticed a difference. Maybe Jagex just hates me  If I'm not mistaken, 600 will probably be around your max. It's not all that surprising not to hit near your max every single time, or even to go on a streak where you don't max for a while. Hell, today at TDs, 3 of my claw specials in a row hit under 100 damage. I did not jump on the forums and start whining about how they got nerfed.
  8. What the ____ are you talking about?
  9. Skill at the game doesn't matter too much- you still get tons of points even if you lose.
  10. I doubt Korasi has been nerfed. Are you sure you weren't just using it in multi and comparing it to how it performs in single? On another note, does anyone know how divines are doing atm?
  11. I have not seen a single person calling the defender overpowered.
  12. looks like a retextured flameburst defender kinda lame Jagex didn't bother taking the extra step there =\ looks like cyclossus has a special attack that knocks you back and stuns you tho. LOL and then while you're stunned someone else can jack your kill! This is going to be so much fun on the first day. Called it.
  13. You can if you have them camping cyclopse spots. On 112 right now there are 4 cycplose spots that are taken up by ppl who already have d def and helm. And they are getting almost every kill. No. I got 2 just messing around getting a defender. They're EXTREMELY easy to come by, and will crash the moment that place stops being ultra crowded. Which would happen sooner if the helm wasn't tradeable and their wasn't the effect of a new item entering the market and most people then wouldn't stick around for multiple helms. Only the most gigantic morons are going to hoard these assuming they'll rise. It's not going to be the big deal you're making it sound like.

  15. But RIGHT NOW, Korasi special is magic. We don't know they won't change it, we don't know it'll stay this way forever, but we know that unless there's an unrelated update to Korasi to change it, it's magic. It prays as magic, it gives exp as magic, and it SOAKS as magic. That's what I'm saying, and that's what you said we don't know for sure. We do know it for sure. Can we agree on that?
  16. ITT: Dan covers his ears and hums loudly.
  17. Errm, actually there is no way to determine this until the update is launched, as we don't know how the damage soak will be distributed. Other than that, i'd still like to see soak percentages on farseer to be absolutely certain of your theory(and it is only a theory as you have no proof of melee armor having mage soak either). It's not as though this would be hard to test(the shields clearly show how much damage was soaked). Saying that there is 100% proof of the spec being 100% magic attach is also bogus as we don't know how jagex classifies these things, and, as mentioned, it still uses melee strength(which none of the other magic spells do). What. We have three items in the game, currently, with damage soaking on their interface. This is definitely the same one that will be used by other armor when the update comes out, or else it was added within a month of the soaking update being released as pure coincidence. Two of these items have magic soak, one does not. The one with no magic soak does not soak Korasi's special, the other two do. This PROVES, DEFINITIVELY, that Korasi's special is magic as far as the soaking is concerned. No further tests trying to determine the exact soak are necessary or relevant, because we already know for a fact that it is not ranged or melee (since chaotic kite does not soak), but can be soaked (since the other two do). I agree that we don't know what armor stats will be like, and that is speculation. That's not what I'm claiming to be fact, at all. The facts are: -Melee armor is supposed to be weak to magic. -The melee dungeoneering kiteshield has no magic soak at all -Korasi's special is magic Draw your own conclusions from there, but mine are that people in melee armor will likely have a tough time with Korasi specs compared to other high damage specials after the update. Please stop clutching at straws, because it's really annoying having to repeat myself. You were wrong. Shock. Get over it.
  18. Making stuff up? I haven't said anything untrue without absolute certainty, I'm just questioning your judgment on something you too don't have absolute proof of. If the spec was 100% magic, it shouldn't use melee level/prayers and equipment strength in calculating damage, however, as it does, you can't really call it a 100% mage attack, thus there is still question weather or not melee or magic or both soaks work on it. As i haven't seen tests on weather farseer soaks 7 or 14 percent, it is still very much speculation, added to that that we are not certain soaking will remain exactly the same as it is on the chaotic shields- if jagex really wants to reduce overall damage, they might just add equal soaks against all classes. If you want to get a guy with a chaotic kite so that YOU PERSONALLY can prove to yourself that it's pure magic as far as soaking is concerned, be my guest, but you're acting like this is something that there is no way for us to determine. We can, and people have.
  19. Tbh I outkilled few maxed melee, with turmoils, extremes, CLS and DFS (yeah .. I know .. It's not the same .. but) without using ANY potions and prayer. And by outkilled I mean for every 3 dragons they kill .. I killed 5. But considering my experience with this sort of stuff I suppose it was mere luck. you must tell the secret of how to outkill someone slaying in cls and dfs :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o I lol'd. Yeah, CLS and DFS, even with turmoils and extremes, is like using a d scim and a rune defender. +1. Try to outhit someone who's not in noob gear and see how it goes.
  20. If the internet was shut down I think we'd have bigger problems than not being able to make fan sites, as far as keeping RS afloat. You've got this random infeasible idea that you're trying to force into being discussable, but it just isn't. Fan sites are a direct result of RS being popular- you can't imagine what might happen if they didn't exist because that would go hand in hand with a completely unrelated lack of interest in the game. Fan sites are a symptom of a healthy community- healthy communities are not the result of fan sites. Related to this discussion: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheWikiRule
  21. Exactly. Cannon is an addition to melee as much as it is to ranged, because it can work with either equally well. It's not even hybriding. It doesn't count as ranging if you do it in full Bandos with a chaotic rapier.
  22. This is silly. If no fansites existed, that would be runescape's failing, not the fan sites. Any sufficiently popular thing has websites made about it, that's the way the world works. Fansites exist because runescape is popular enough to warrant them- fansites are in no way essential for the survival of runescape except in that if all fansites fell inactive it would almost certainly mean runescape was dying on its own. There's no conceivable way runescape could be popular without fansites coming into existence as a result, so there's nothing to discuss here.
