  1. It has King Black Dragons but not regular ones, that makes sense -.- I've added those. If there's any other popular range training monsters that appear to be missing, feel free to request them. If you find a monster missing, you could also look up the monster's hp in the bestiary and then enter it manually in the calculator. Also, this should be in the calculators and maps subforum - moving this topic.
  2. UCP > Board Settings > Display Settings; display options for signatures, avatars and images are found there. Disabling images turns every image in a post into a link to said image, including signature images.
  3. I used to alch at the wilderness border near Edgeville. There used to be plenty of fighting going on to keep you entertained during your extended clicking sessions :)
  4. Well, err, that screenshot only shows you managed to get yourself reported (and found guilty by the folks over at the office) eleven different times, but you never mention what you were reported for. While I do think that sometimes people are too trigger happy when it comes to reporting people, I find it hard to believe that all those reports are a simple case of wannabees trying to get you in trouble...considering I've never been reported in all these years I've been playing RS (or rather, never got into trouble because of it - that is to say, being reported while not breaking a rule) I find it somewhat hard to believe that this was simply because of overzealous reporters. Just mind your language a bit. While most people (including most in-game moderators, no doubt) don't really mind mild language, we both know there's some people who jump on every opportunity to report people -.-
  5. Doh! Fixed, thanks :)
  6. Your English is perfectly readable, no worries there ;) it is indeed 86.5 xp. Thanks :) It'd probably give X amount of extra runes, on average. Which would result in the total amount of runes made, the profit made on these runes and the total profit / cost being an estimate, instead of a calculated value. Therefore we chose not to include it. Still, thanks for suggesting :)
  7. Sounds good. The only questionable thing behind this is dropping items on death. Since the other player doesn't receive your items (but instead a game-generated item, due to RWT), it'd essentially mean you lose your equips if someone of higher level boots you out of a training spot in some far-off place, no? This'd essentially mean that if people want to train somewhere using expensive things, they'd never bother doing it on a PvP world due to the risk involved. But I guess we'll have to see how things play out, it's hard to make predictions this early :P
  8. Due to the way things are calculated, there's some sort of internal limit to the number of levels needed for the next combat level, set at 98. When previously the calculator would tell you you need 98 attack or strength levels, it will now tell you you need "98 or more levels". Best I could do I'm afraid. I'm marking this done - will be moved to completed submissions in a few days. Thanks for your help, Netgear365 :)
  9. Quick post to tell you I've identified the problem.
  10. I'll assume it requires the same crafting level as making glass the regular way does. I'll add it to the calcs like that, then, cheers. [done]
  11. Works fine for me :| What browser are you using? Are you making sure you click the "Tip Me" button?
  12. Fair enough, but that too would've been a rather big change to 'Scape's gameplay, wouldn't you agree? A huge change was in order to combat RWT, and they picked a solution that had the biggest effect on the smallest group of players, the PK'ers (who despite of their loud mouths weren't quite as numerous as the skillers :P) and to a lesser degree activities like trading and killing big monsters. If they'd introduced this clever way of gaining levels, it might've been as underwhelming as FoG seems to be...imagine the effect that'd have on the playerbase.
  13. Being introduced to World of Warcraft did the trick for me... Well, I didn't really quit 'Scape, but I sure don't play nearly as much as I used to.
  14. I hope so. However, it's been quite a while since the wilderness updates. Surely it'd be better if adequate replacement games had been available from the start. To the pk'ers, it's like being homeless for half a year and then some. Still, something had to be done about RWT, I understand that. It's just that all the good pk'ing memories I had (haven't really actively pk'd for a year or two now) will now be just that, memories. But I guess that's the same for the active RSC pk'ers when the 3-round system was removed.
  15. And for that matter, it had more defense than other capes. At that time, you had the red cape (no defense), the black cape (from Highwaymen, 1 defense), and the blue cape (2 defense).
  16. That is true. If you say something bad, something like this would come up: "#%&@#" Id like to see jagex make something like that. WoW has a profanity filter, which can even be disabled. But I can't really I see people swearing often. Guess it's not that special when the game doesn't make a big deal out of it :P and the fact that it doesn't filter out anything that's not even remotely bad is a plus, too. It isn't overly strict and therefore not much of an annoyance. I don't think Diablo 3 will have much of an influence on 'Scape, different people playing those games I'd say. Besides, it's not like D3 is an MMO, so the amount of time invested shouldn't be quite as big after the initial enthousiasm. As for 'Scape not growing, I don't know. Lack of end-game group content is definitly an issue, and the change to the wilderness made it worse, as (in my opinion) the new wilderness just doesn't cut it compared to the old one. And indeed, ask the average WoW player who has heard of 'Scape, and a "lol RS" is the most likely answer you'll get. And I doubt they'll believe you when you tell them the water on 'Scape looks better than the average lake in WoW...but it actually does, I couldn't help but notice how a lake looked like the same texture repeated 40 times when I flew over it :P
  17. Help and advice board for all your questions. And yes, you'll start catching fish more often. Even so, the difference between levels is rather small, so chances are you won't notice much or any difference at all between levels 80 and 82.
  18. There's being fast, which buying a harpoon for 60gp would be. 60g isn't an awful lot of money, and if it saves you a few minutes of going to some shop or harpoon spawn then the few extra fish you'd catch during your session would more than make up for it. And then there's buying lazy and paying ridicilous amounts of money for something simple, such as the poster above did :P no way a few extra minutes of fishing (small-net fishing even) would earn you 15k. Then again, if you absolutely loathe having to walk a couple of minutes to grab a net and have the cash handy, you might as well use it :
  19. Not sure on the being level 2 or not part, but in the early stages of RuneScape classic, you could pick so called starting kits. So say, you were going to be a fighter, then you'd start out with some free attack and strength levels, and if you picked miner you'd start out with level 7 mining or so. (Not sure on the actual numbers, it's been a while) If I recall correctly one of them kits had you start out with 9 hp. Judging by that characters level 3 magic it was the wizard kit :P
  20. I just smithed a Steel Platebody on F2P. Please clarify. (You can scroll down in the smithing window, if you hadn't noticed)
  21. I believe I earned my first million by selling a boatload of iron arrows. Well, that's what had me pass the one million mark at any rate.
  22. I see what you mean. I'll look into it, although I'm not sure if I can fix it, since I didn't make the ranged combat level code.
  23. You're doing it wrong :| As for the first point, err, no pic no proof. As for the second point, please clarify. As for the third point, "type these skills it will say u need 99range to advance", well, it doesn't. It says you need 68 levels, and you do infact advance in combat just fine.
  24. It's only worth 73 xp when used in the mage training arena, if I'm not mistaken.
