I made an RC hovercraft in engineering class this semester, will be racing it/taking pics in early December. Also, I ordered a brushless motor to strap onto the back, incredible thrust power :D
  2. woke up yesterday morning and everything was white... didn't even have time to rake the leaves. i'm definitely getting a Tremblant ski pass this winter and live in my friends cottage :D Us canadimerans know how to take advantage of these ridiculous winters
  3. Same. Does all I want it to and I'm quite happy with keeping it for the time being. 3rded. I've had it for 2 years already and planning to keep it forever, phones are huge moneysinks, 2nd only to cars
  4. Jagex should atleast implement a system where it would detect that you had telerunes/tabs. This way they know if you're at low-risk of losing your items, maybe decrease the value of your items by 50% or so.
  5. I haven't tried attacking a higher level yet, but if it does work the formula would be: {[your combat] + 5} / 0.9 = [highest combat possible] take for example, level 100: can attack: 115 - 85 (10% +/- 5) can BE attacked by 117. I tried this with 5 different levels, and the average difference between the highest combat level that you can attack and the highest combat level that can attack you is around 1-2, but it's worth calculating if you're going to PK a lot.
  6. I logged on quickly to f2p and got 2 scimmies as loot for one of my kills. SOOO much fun... that tingle you get from chasing someone down successfully is BAAAACK  ...now back to bio essay
  7. AHHHH PVP IS HERE WAAAGHBLEBLBLBECHGHGHHG ...and of course I have an exit profile project due tomorrow. Oh well, i'll get members tomorrow night :)
  8. You don't have enough emoticons: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: I just hate that. They spend our money to do those campaigns, and yet we're back at square one because most of Canada wanted Harper. If only they'd have open eyes, they would've chosen either Liberal or NDP, exept for Alberta. Still not enough emotions.... The election was completely useless, I can't believe how stupid Ontario is.
  9. I know i'm probably not really following the discussion BUT: >>DONT<< invest with the aid of banks, or even expensive brokers. ALL banks are crooks, it's sad to say but they are, and good brokers are expensive because they give advice. Now, if you learned the basics about the economy and stock market, you can get yourself a discount broker online to deal with you. Alongside my brother's friend who is in finance (he pretty much knows the Canadian economy inside-out), i'm investing $7k in 60$ stocks 40% bonds and leaving it there for the minimum 8 years. Now, to make my stocks raise in price... EVERYONE GO BUY STOCKS NOW THEY ARE LOOOOOOOOOWWWW!!!

I made thousands in designing, coding and selling website templates and working websites. If you start a decent community growing and a working forum, you can even sell those websites for even more, because the buyer can make money off the ads they'd add to it. However, if you can't even budget money you don't have, I honestly don't think you can do this. You obviously don't seem to be wanting to work for your money, claiming there's nothing to do when there's always labour needed somewhere. Try cutting down on your useless spending, think of the kids who actually work and don't get to see any of the money they earn, or go out with their friends. It's not the answer you want, but it's the only realistic one.
  11. 'cause /b/ is filled with idiots, and Justice closed registration for soundcircuit
  12. hi pkers of tip.it; def = 40 strength = 36 combat = 75 what would be my best option to PK in the new pvp worlds? I used to be an oldskool ranger, and I only got magic from alching due to fletching. It seems like its payed off because now I can hybrid, but im still not sure what hybriding is all about. i appreciate your input :
  13. Montreal did to the Leafs what Spielberg and Lucas did to Indiana Jones. But seriously, that game was amazing. Classic matchup, Saturday night on ThanksGiving weekend, Montreal vs Toronto. And, inevitably, Habs beat them easily. It looks like the only hope for the Leafs is the first round draft next year
  14. ...loads up his rifle. What? When the goalie gets a save and passes it top a dude and they just go, that is like a fast break in basketball. And what happened to gun control? *takes out his shotgun*
  15. mine is more along the lines of - make sure the power supply is on. You think i'm an idiot but we were 5 engineering students who spend 10 minutes trying to figure out the problem in our circuit before one of us flicked on the switch... #-o
  16. *High-Fives fastortoise* I, unfortunately, have to live in Ontario, which means I can only see 3 or 4 Habs games live a season, most of them in Buffalo :( It breaks my heart when I hear stories about people not being able to attend Hab games at the Forum/Molson/Bell Center. It's such a magical place, I WANT to have a son, right now, and bring him to his first game. Something like 76% of all NHL players' favorite place to play hockey is here, in Montreal. I assume you are putting Leaf fans in their place over in Ontario, keep up the good work tryto.
  17. Exactly. Everyone I know of just crammed the algorithms in their heads, and decided they were better than everyone else with this new skill. I mean, my brother and I used to have races when we were 13 and 9 respectively and learned how to solve it together... it's nothing special, really. We aren't geniuses, either. All you have to do is develop your brain to make it able to see 6-7 moves ahead, no Internet help required. Just yesterday my friend was boasting and showing us how he could do it in less than a minute, too. sigh.
  18. Awwww come on, tipiters! This year Halloween is on a FRIDAY NIGHT!! Get your parties on 8-) Almost every single club in downtown Montreal is having a halloween party, i'll probably be going to Krush cause i've never been before. Anyways, I was planning to be going as Bob Barker and have a few of my fine looking friends dress up as the showcase girls, but only one was up for it :( I'm still trying to think of an original costume that won't get too hot quickly or be too big. Something that gets the playboy bunny costumed ladies' attention ;) I need a costume where I can adopt a persona... Bob Barker would have been perfect but my friends are lame. I'm probably going to end up drawing on abs and biceps with a sharpie and wear a flimsy shirt I can rip off at the perfect moment, but that's a final resort plan.
  19. You guys have been lucky so far, but it ends here. HABS FAN HAS ARRIVED!!!!!! which team beat the wings in pre-season? twice in shootouts? 8-) anyways, i'm just being annoying. I'm honestly extremely excited about the 100th allstar game in montreal, I really hope i can get tickets. My friend is selling tickets to the retirement of patrick roy's game for 600-700$ ehwaaaaa
  20. Paired up with my graffiti artist friend, I'd make shirt designs for people and printed the designs on customers' shirts as well. We each made an easy 1000$, which is when we almost signed a deal with a printing company. Sadly, our mutual friend that was setting up the entire deal completely let us down and we got discouraged and stopped our business. We were going to have a shop downtown and everything, before the trend caught on. Would've made thousands... oh well
  21. Only people in Quebec will agree with me, but I watched Jean-Luc Mongrain (he's a new reporter for a French channel) every day since I was 12. Sadly he retired last year, and my interest with the media has plummeted to a zero.
  22. Alright. You win. I see you've played knifey-spooney before
  23. I was mugged in a park once, while I was on my way to my friends house for the first time. When I got to his house a couple of my friends were already there and they saw that I was roughed up, and since they're pretty non-violent people I was extremely surprised at was I saw. My friend got his dad's golf clubs and someone got out two baseball bats, and we all (8 of us) piled into his van and went mugger-hunting. Normally i'd be against this, and even typing this now I think we were really stupid. But anyways, the morons were still hanging out in the park, and we un-mugged all my things. Luckily nothing got too out of hand, but it did get pretty rough. Sadly stuff like that sticks to you, and i'm always paranoid when I cross parks late at night. I was planning on learning how to fight really well, but when I realized that being able to fight like Jet-Li took a lot of effort, I dropped the idea
  24. I've wanted to be an Architect since I was a little kid but I've recently took an interest in Engineering. I would love to be in the music business though but hey, if that doesn't work out then those extra math and science classes I have been taking will sure come in handy. : Yeah, it's still a tossup between Architecture and Engineering for me. I'm taking an engineering class this semester and Murphy's laws are the worst... so much rage when I trying building an RC circuit. I was thinking about bagging me one of those Alaskan petrol engineer jobs, work there for like 5 years and get a cool half mil, invest it in a nice big house and work on more engineering back in Montreal or pursue Architecture. Of course, that means 5 years without human contact.. hopefully they'll be internet
  25. I've longed dreamed about a job that would combine my creativity and smarts, and I discovered it a few months ago: Architect 8-) Luckily, I'm in the perfect college program in order for me to get accepted in Architecture over at McGill in 2 semesters. Grades are no problem at all, I have the same if not better grades than my older brother and he's in Medicine, also at McGill. And if any of you have ever watched Seinfeld, you'd know architects get all the ladies
