Hawks
Seeing as nobody has put up one yet, I figured I'd do it, seeing as the first U.S. NHL game is on Thursday (I think). So for general discussion of the NHL and AHL and HOCKEY!! Personally I think the Red Wings have a good chance of winning the Stanley Cup again, not just because they're my favorite team, but they have a lot of good players and a lot of new players that are looking like they'll fit in well. I like Ty Conklin (new goalie since Hasek retired), saw him play on Friday night. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube

Skull
I'm almost sort of a Rangers fan, but to be honest I don't follow hockey in the least. [bleep] the law, they can eat my dick that's word to Pimp
MoeSzyslak
Hossa is a snake and I hope Detroit misses the playoffs. ...that being said it's very possible they will repeat, and i'll throw up if they do  Just don't know if my Penguins are as good as they were last year... they still got their core, but they looked kinda so-so this weekend in Sweden (1-1 in 2 games vs. Ottawa). Not to mention Gonchar and Ryan Whitney, two of their better d-men are out.

Range_This11
I've been playing hockey for 15 years and used to love watching hockey, but since the lockout, I've been a little disappointed in the NHL. It used to be different, I miss the mid-90s rivalries and players. I follow the Wild a little bit but not too much. It used to be different, I miss the mid-90s rivalries and players. I follow the Wild a little bit but not too much. I still follow hockey a lot now and I know what you mean. There isn't nearly as many fights (or any if that) as there were before the lockout :([/hide] Of course I will be rooting for the Wings *points to avatar* I'm glad Hasek finally retired. He's to old to be playing goalie.
MoeSzyslak
Conklin was a good backup for us last year. Somebody was bound to make a go at him. Hossa left for not much money than what he would've gotten to stay in Pittsburgh. Thought he had a better chance to win the cup with Detroit... it's not THAT much better of a chance... it's tough to repeat. I believe the Penguins got Detroit on the schedule twice this year though, should be interesting...

"superstar" players on ur roster look at the wings....
Tbfgraphx14
I went to the Redwings game last friday agaisnt the leaf's. They won 5-3, it was nice. My friend had an executive suite and I was invited that night :D I also know one of the Redwings prospects well, and he was not playing the pre-season game that night so he took me to the super suite to see Datsyuk and Chelios and other scratches Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass. Range_This11
The Red Wings will never have a hard time repeating. If they still had Scotty Bowman, they would have had more cups in the last few years. It used to be different, I miss the mid-90s rivalries and players. I follow the Wild a little bit but not too much. I definitely agree with you. After the lockout, the game just wasn't the same in the NHL. Then again, I would have lost interest anyways seeing how I can't stand to watch hockey because it makes me want to play it. I've been playing for 7 years, definitely hoping to keep playing after high school (Essentially when I'd have to join an adult league, because the league I'm in only goes to 17). So I have at least 2 more years of hockey guaranteed for me, 3 if you include this season which has only really started (First exhibition game was yesterday, we beat the defending champs 5-4). I don't really watch hockey games, I'm more of a highlight reel before school in the morning kind of person. There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. Thatregret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new, better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret. It's experience. Latinoking
1. People need to jump off the Penguins/Crosby bandwagon. I hate ESPN when they speak of NHL. All they say is Crosby, Crosby, Crosby. 2. Red Wings will win again, and I will enjoy another parade. I am Teh_King[My dA][My Last.FM][My Twitter]

After the 80s, Gretzky was horrid, but he brought in money for the league. It's such a magical place, I WANT to have a son, right now, and bring him to his first game. Something like 76% of all NHL players' favorite place to play hockey is here, in Montreal. I assume you are putting Leaf fans in their place over in Ontario, keep up the good work tryto.
jackattack
I've never really been a big hockey person until the end of last season. I went to a Sharks playoff game against the stars and that was one of the best sports events I've ever been to. Maybe it was because I was in a suite but now I'm a Sharks fan. I am gonna try to go to a few games this year. I don't really know much about hockey, I just kind of like the flow of the game. It's kind of similar to basketball.
