  1. Role Reversal! Old Jessica/Nikki = New Nathan/Sylar New Tracy = Old Sylar
  2. Still it's just a tranquilizer. Since it was Hiro who did it, I doubt he killed him anyway. It's not within his character. Although I don't see much of a future for Danko since Noah took over.
  3. According to Mohinder, his body seems to be rejecting his power, like a virus. That doesn't make sense, since' he's had that ability for ages. -.- But he lost the ability. And the ability Baby Matt reintroduced to Hiro isn't the same as his old teleporting/time stopping ability. Being slightly different is the reasoning, we can suppose, as to why his body is now rejecting it.
  4. But will Nathan have Sylar's hunger? If all it takes to get rid of it is erasing memories, why wasn't that attempted awhile ago? I'm wondering if Nathan will slowly regain Sylar's abilities, and then realize he is Sylar. Upon realizing this, will 'the body' want to reobtain the memories and become Sylar again, or will Nathan's memories overtake Sylar? Whatever happens, this struggle should be interesting, and probably very creepy along the way.
  5. A forum somewhat revolving around Abercrombie and Fitch style: http://www.topicstyle.com/ General style advice: http://www.askmen.com/fashion/ If you're on a budget, you want to go to Kohls, Old Navy, and TJ Maxx. The stuff there looks just as good as most things from Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, and American Eagle. The quality isn't as top notch and you'll feel a difference, but they're cheap enough. Although you can really get some steals on the clearance rack at American Eagle, and Aeropostale is usually pretty cheap. Anyway, I would go to those sites as well as check what people are wearing on ae.com or aeropostale.com for different clothing combinations. Right now spring is approaching so it's pretty easy to wear what most highschoolers are wearing. Get some form fitting graphic T's or polos. Flat front light brown shorts (cargo's on the way out), or plaid if that's more your thing. You shouldn't have to pay more than $10 a shirt or $15 for shorts. You've got some time til winter when if you want to be stylish you'll want to layer, but as for now since most likely the weather is warming up it shouldn't be hard to pick a good outfit. Make sure your jeans/shorts and shirt are form fitting, and you should be good to go. And lastly, check deal sites: http://dealnews.com/categories/Clothing ... ter=c:203; http://www.bargainist.com/
  6. I've been away for awhile, but thought I'd update some pictures, since it's been about a year since my most recent one. You could probably guess, but these are from St. Patty's day week. [hide=] [/hide]
  7. Agreed. I think most of the viewers expect something spectacular to happen every episode, it won't. I think the last episode was well executed, perhaps a bit uneventful in comparison to some but still, not a bad episode. I definitely don't think a show needs exciting moments to be good, but that's why I watch Heroes. It's all about tension and release. I don't expect an awesome release/climax/exciting moment every episode, but when they're building up and it's lame like this, there's just not much to enjoy. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you though. I definitely love the psychological element to the show, the relationships, and motivations, but the show is really an action show. If you're not into the big plot twists, what drives you to keep watching?
  8. Completely agreed Indy. This episode almost turned me off Heroes after watching religiously since the beginning. Everything was so obvious, so many predictable plot devices. That wouldn't be horrible, but the worst is how lame half of the scenes were. Tracy needlessly killing that guy to convince the woman in charge to hand over control to Nathan? The lame and needless wedding scene? That's just the beginning of how subpar this episode was. No cliffhangers, no shocking moments, just recycled scenes that were pretty painful to watch. But I remain optimistic.
  9. Yeah! That's the only reason. And don't forget it.
  10. I'm assuming niggles is more of an English word, so not knowing the real meaning beforehand, I found the whole situation somewhat amusing. :) That, and the word niggles itself is just a funny word. :P
  11. You don't mind bullying because you apparently have no problem defending yourself. That's pretty narrow minded, because most kids who are bullied can't defend themselves. But how old are you? In child psychology, it does take awhile until children are able to lose an egocentric point of view and become able to realize that others might see things from a different point of view. This happens at different ages for different children, so maybe give it some time, champ?
  12. I just read your story Zibl, and it sounds pretty similar to mine. Granted you got really unlucky a lot of the time, whereas I got lucky (I grew my networth about tenfold because of the dupe, and it sounds like yours shrunk tenfold), it sounds like we had a lot in common. I'm really surprised we never ran into each other, since most people in f2p Varrock 1 and p2p Fally 2 could be recognizable to other merchants. I'm sure we traded with each other once or twice though years ago, just because items were changing hands all the time. The game from the perspective we both described is entirely different from what it is now. I think this is the main difference. When we played, we made our own experience. We found a niche (merchanting) that wasn't meant to be much of the game, and loved it. Now, jagex spoonfeeds the experience to you. There isn't that same entrepreneurial feeling that we loved so much. Instead, jagex has taken control of every economic freedom and replaced it with spiffed up graphics and new gameplay options. But for us, it was never about the gameplay. It was about trading and interacting with cool people. As much as I try to find that in the game now, it just isn't there. The game isn't bad now - it's a lot better in most regards. It just destroyed the niche that our minority loved. Too bad we never met - we probably would have made good friends.
  13. Mario Kart for the Wii. You're driving in first place for most of the race, approaching the finish line on your final lap and are way ahead of the pack. Suddenly, as you're turning a corner, a blue shell blows you into the air. After you slowly accelerate to regular speed, a stray red shell catches up with you, stopping you again. You begin to accelerate once more, then a second place supersized cart squishes you flat. You return to regular size, only to have someone with a star run into you, blasting you off of the level. Twenty seconds later, right as you're placed back onto the track, you get railed by the former last placed bullet bill. This sums up half of the out of control races in mario kart. :)
  14. As a libertarian there aren't that many things I want to be illegal - I'd rather have more things illegal now become legal. But I'd make illegal anything that currently is legal that people do which infringes on others well being, like smoking in public places.
  15. I love how each character has a unique relationship with every other character on the show. I'm going to pretend the last season didn't exist though. They turned every character into a caricature of themselves, and there was very little overall plot progression. I'm hoping the exec's at ABC turn things back around for next season.
  16. Still, I think it's contextual based on the mod's discretion. If someone just posts the link, that's spam. But if there's a joke to it or another point attached, I don't think it would be spam?
  17. I'm glad you still post here Sly. :) It may sound like Israel overreacted, but when you're fighting a group that uses suicide bombers within your own country, conventional rules are already broken. Hamas had been attacking for awhile, and Israel needed to show that they won't allow themselves to be attacked like that.
  18. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but from what I can remember: Pogs, Beanie Babies, Yoyo's, Tomagotchi, Pokemon cards, Tech decks, and lastly airsoft guns.
  19. Awww I was so about to post that. I enjoy biology and psychology the most. Hence my major, biopsychology.
  20. Yes, lengthen the logout timer. Also reduce the amount of random events, because if you do idle for a long time, you're also likely to get randomed and killed. The logout timer protects from this, but we don't need this either anymore.
  21. Hey everyone. I don't post here often, but had an idea of a collaborative story, which is actually a part of a bigger idea. Depending on the success of this attempt, I'd like to attempt making a wikipedia style open database of stories, poems, songs, etc. My goal is to use the power of creative teams to shape literature into the best possible work. Granted this is different because literature is subjective, but I would like to see how the power of a majority influences the direction of a work. Everyone who posts here generally are great writers, so I would expect whatever we end up making to do well. There are no conditions to this. The way it works is one person starts writing, and from there on, changes are either accepted, editted, or removed by the next poster. Eventually through this process, theoretically everyone will contribute their own strengths into a great piece of work. I'd like to see how the different writing styles all mix, and eventually hopefully assimilate into one. This will take a considerable effort from the community, because we will be starting from scratch without any direction. You are allowed to post side comments to state where you like the direction to go, but other than that, everything is open for anyone. All you do is copy the post above yours and add things and change things as you see fit. If you dislike a change someone else made, you can revert back to an older post. Anything goes with this. The only driving force is the desire to create a good piece of literary work, whatever length it may be. If anything else needs clarifying, let me know. I don't want to influence the direction of this, so I'll let the next poster begin with the story/poem/whatever. Please be active with this, as I'd like to see the potential of what a team can come up with. This isn't just an 'add your sentence to the story' type of thing. This is a collaboration. Hope we come up with something good. :)
  22. While others find a lack of consciousness equally frightening, if not more.
  23. It's not like he could keep that lifestyle going on forever. Everyone stops playing rs at some point, assuming he has. On a side note: is it still policy to lock threads discussing famous players? I always found that rule odd. They do have relevance to the game and have an impact worth discussing.
  24. Obviously communism is ideal. I think it's near impossible to implement in an ideal way, though. If the citizens were directly involved and a government ceased to exist - the citizens were the government, I may be interested. But because a small minority of people would likely take advantage of this kind of a situation, it just couldn't work. What I describe sounds more like a deregulated form of communism where it almost comes full circle to the opposite end, lawlessness, but I think a in a pure, ideal (unattainable) communist state, laws wouldn't be needed.
